  1. Same ones saying this was a bad pick said Allen was too.
  2. And he isn't trying to be a favorite, it's just him. Please God let them coach this kid up and scheme him open.
  3. That's right. I haven't even finished my 1st cup of coffee lol
  4. We may need to as the 5th year option for Groot is 13 mill I think.
  5. Here is the thing, how many good to great players on your list? Tons! Now go look at the guys who have the fastest 40 times. Most are terrible. Track speed and football speed ARE two different things, and it's shown for decades now, but still many put too much into 40 times. I liked Coleman and I liked the pick. Trading down and getting a 3rd round pick and still getting your guy is brilliant. I don't know how his career is going to go, I just know if he doesn't pan out, it won't be from lack of talent or effort. I pray he gets coached up right.
  6. Outstanding video. Many negative nancies need to watch this.
  7. Outstanding post! And you are right we are soft. I'll put up a post later about my thoughts on this very thing. We don't need to get faster, we need to be stronger, meaner, tougher and more consistent.
  8. Yes, no, maybe. We thought what we had and how we were doing it was a superbowl roster...and we were wrong. It doesn't matter if it's a Superbowl roster right now. Every team must take a year or so to step back and retool and build for another run.
  9. Sometimes you don't get that assurance. This was coming at some point where signing FA'S wasn't possible and it's time to let rookies and guys you have been grooming take over. Our time for that is now.
  10. Shaw...outstanding as always brother.
  11. That is it. This time around they are taking a different approach.
  12. Great post, thank you for this detail. We are in better shape than most think.
  13. Yeah Solomon had 16 sacks last year. The guy bends like a healthy Von. He has a shot
  14. I would love it if Coleman put up a Nakua type rookie year.
  15. I really want to see him blow up this year into a 10+ sack guy.
  16. Agreed, gotta go medium with a little blood steak wise. I do hope he can talk Coleman into working with Moulds. I also think Shakir is going to turn some heads this year.
  17. Sweats brother, spot on. This kid is VERY coachable and is excited to be here. Fans need to watch him flat out violate LSU last year to know what they are getting.
  18. This is it exactly. We tried 1 era and we got close. now they are building for Era 2 and our approach will be different.
  19. Patty Mahomes said a few years back, he had to change his game. He recognized the Deep ball wasn't going to be there as much and he said something to the effect he had to get used to something like 8-12 play drives instead of 3-5 play drives. He does not like it, but he did, and they won superbowls.
  20. I can see Josh Allen now telling the team "look at me...I am the captain now" 🤣
  21. Agreed. I think they want to build a BIGGER team that is more physical and can run the ball with speed and with power. This is vital I think in the playoffs. I agree completely with the production. We targeted guys who flat produced at a high level in College. And I like The commanders draft, I think they really improved.
  22. Many fans, esp on here, want a big name, splash, flash whatever gets ESPN and any other talking heads liking us. And they also have a bad habit every offseason getting a player or three stuck in their heads and wont budge off of them no matter what, and that happened this year. The flavor of this offseason was an X WR, or a guy with size and speed to "take the top off a defense". KC hasn't had one since they traded Hill and still won a couple superbowls. SF has two really good WR's and a great RB and good TE, but still not the guy who purely takes the top off per say, and kick butt. Detroit just gave a huge contract to a guy who is considered the best all around WR right now. His 40 time? 4.61. Beane was smart, KC was going to get Worthy no matter what and he got them to give us a 3rd instead of making a pick and them getting him anyway. Look Beane is far from perfect, and who knows how these guys work out, but we are a better team today than last Thursday morning, I dont care what others say, its the truth.
  23. MNF 1991 against the Bungals. Kelly throws a pick on all 3 of our 1st possessions. Then turns around and cracks out 5 TD passes while getting James Lofton over 200 yards receiving. Also in 1991 us beating Pittsburg with Kelly tossing 6 TD passes, 4 to Beebe.
