McDermott weird comments about Josh Allen
SoonerBillsFan replied to HappyDays's topic in The Stadium Wall
Thats when Terry hires a committee of older, more established NFL folks and lets them do the interviews with Terry involved in the process. There is no shame in that at all, in fact it might be pretty smart. -

I agree on that. I still wonder if there isn't some off the field crap going on. OR... McDermott has put restrictions on him and that has caused it -

Exactly. I see a man who really doesn't care, like screw it. The fun and excitement is gone. -

Right now the Ravens are on pace to get the #1 seed. 30+ in Cincinnati and we can't do crap against them -

Would you today trade places with Texans fans?
SoonerBillsFan replied to Pine Barrens Mafia's topic in The Stadium Wall
The answer isn't black and white. I will trade for their HC and offensive system in a heartbeat. -
Do you know why I like Brett Favre? He was exciting and NOT on our team setting an all time record for int's at his retirement. 3-1 td to int ratio is what's needed minimum with no more than 10 -12 in a season.

Peter, please do. I HOPE that a change in scheme and approach will help Josh improve. I mean hell, MAYBE joe's scheme can work in the NFL esp with Josh, but I think we both agree there is still something wrong with Josh that needs to get hammered out. I pray its not a deeper, off-the-field / Personal issue causing this. I sincerely hope joe's system somewhat motivates Josh to want to get back on track and even improve over his past play.

Yes. He walks in and says I sit. the worst they can do is fine him (who cares he has millions) and at worst ask for the pro-rated amount of his signing bonus back. Trade him is about all they can do as he takes up a ton of their cap and again he has millions to sit on and can outlast the fines.

Josh needs a 3-1 TD to int ratio period, he isnt there. Stupid plays have to be cut down. And YES there are many areas to improve esp with the scheme. Now if players, Gabe Davis, keeps dropping balls I say bench his butt. He isn't a superstar, so send a message. But yeah they can improve, esp. stop with the INT's at an alarming rate.

Look this is McDermott using the last "blame" he can before Terry has to fire his butt. McDermott has been the problem and he needs to go. Maybe Josh isn't motivated because he is thinking "WTF bother?" Has that ever occurred to anyone? He knows what he is up against in McDermott and as I said a couple of weeks ago, I feel the ONLY way this is resolved is for Josh to set up a one-on-one with Terry and say "If he stays, then I go. I'll give you the rest of the season, but after that, a decision has to be made".

I said this earlier and it still holds true, I feel if Kim Pegula hadn't had her cardiac event and was 100$...McDermott would have been fired after the Cinci game in January. The regression is obvious.

IF I remember correctly, Brady was forced to run Rhule's offense, not his own. I could be wrong. Another positive is he has been Allens QB coach. He has seen how he reacts to situations, they have talked so they have a measure of trust as well. IF brady can be allowed to implement the offense he did at LSU, we might have a chance of starting to pull Allen out of this funk.
-
Orlovsky is 100% spot on. Fans instead of listening, bash him amd bring up his run out of the endzone play a long time ago. We have been predictable and don't scheme well at all.
-
Allen really has to clean his game up.
-
I honestly don't know as he was forced to run Rhule's offense. Use the same concepts he did with Burrow at LSU and keep it simple.

Bills vs Jets 4:25 PM Nov. 19 Lets move on.
SoonerBillsFan replied to Chaos's topic in The Stadium Wall
I don't see it. Josh is AWOL mentally and we have a new OC vs. The one team that is Josh's kryptonite even when he is on his A game. Sorry, there is nothing logically or realistically that says we win this game. -
It was a non threatening pick that Sean could tell what to do and the OC do it because it's his 1st gig. See my above post, I take that away from Sean.
-
If I'm Terry "I" interview and hire the next OC or have an advisor do it...not McDermott. McDermott will hire someone non threatening, I want the best hire that can right Allen and the offensive side of the ball. If he csn replace McDermott then so be it. I also tell Sean, keep your damn hands off that side of the ball. Also, hire a DC and let him run his own defense, not your big nickle. You want to be the HC then thats your job

Beane is a big problem, be we can't say that about st. Beane.
-
Sounds like dorsey was afraid to upset Josh. If so tough **** Josh needs a foot in his butt with how crappy he has been playing. Davol was on him hard. Hell maybe thats part of the problem. Maybe Josh needs to toughen up. Hell who knows anymore

Just go into the playbook and find what he ran with Burrow at LSU. Plays are freaking plays, concepts are concepts. There ARE plays he ran at LSU just naming convention is different. Look K gun this **** 12-15 pass plays and 7-8 run plays based on the opponent that week. Just go simple and execute
