  1. Fez, what I want to know is how do you manage to keep up with the Duff's wings while typing all that pbp? Your hands must be a blur, man.
  2. More important from a playoff perspective, looks like the Jags are going to escape with a win over Houston.
  3. Oh well... the Favrephilia will be in full display for the entire week to come....
  4. Kemp? You mean that inconsistent clubhouse lawyer who stood in the way of Daryle Lamonica?
  5. Considering the rumors about what gladiators were up to, I am not sure I would be so proud about "sm"ing anyone. Besides, I'm Spartacus!
  6. Oh I was very upset when we signed Loften, whoever that is... though was much happier when we signed his homonym...
  7. Yes they do, and they can choose when or how to enforce that copyright. Which is another good reason to avoid being an Arschloch with one's website... Just because you can do something doesn't mean you should.
  8. The only thing worse than someone slinging around contemptuous words about other people's feelings or relationship to historical events is having that same person see no irony in his own use of historical symbols and statements in his avatar.
  9. Oh don't get me started on those folks... I have a relative who works in the Rachacha store, and he and his colleagues are very sorry the Bills spun it off to DN....
  10. Fourth glance... unchanged. Sorry Ray, you are entitled to exercise your hyperbole of course, but no matter what anyone might think of Jacobs, keeping the team in the Bufftown is much more important to me.
  11. Hmmm yessss... and he who steal grass always come back for mower.
  12. Mmmmm... me likey that pain and heartache on crackers. Washed down with a glass of bitter bile. Also known as a Bills Fan's Midnight Snack! Thanks for making me laugh out loud. Love your "Brand Names" avatar too... is that the Niagara Falls Blvd location?
  13. All very well put. And besides, I think we all know that the "Sports Gal" columns are written by Simmons too. Another gimmick as he tries to hold onto eyeballs. Holding eyeballs... eeewww.
  14. On second glance, I'm still with "stupidest post." Wait... No, third glance still there.
  15. Thanks Lori. I feel guilty making you do research that I could do myself, but appreciate the info. That is interesting about Cleveland. I guess outside of Baltimore/Indy (obviously), whom they played much more often, the Steelers would be far ahead of the Browns among pre-merger NFL teams that have played the Bills. It certainly feels as though the Bills and Steelers have played a bunch of times... Off the top of my head, I can remember 1970, 1972, 1975, 1978, 1979, 1980, 1982, 1985, 1986, 1988, 1990, 1991, 1992, 1993, 1994, 1996, 1999, 2001, 2004, 2007.. Though even that is only 20 times... I obviously need to get back to work.
  16. Heck no, brother... you performed a public service, giving so many folks a chance to feel smart. Here... join us!
  17. So true. What really struck me from your excellent preview, though, Lori, was that the Bills and Rams have only played nine times since 1970, even though the Rams were the first NFC team the Bills played in a regular season game. Granted, before 1978 the number and pattern of interconference games was a bit more random, and I should track down one of my packed-away media guides, but I wonder if there are any other non-expansion teams the Bills have played fewer times? Conversely, is there an NFC team the Bills have played significantly more often than any other?
  18. Hey, I beat you both.... Oh heck... let's all drink to our knowledge of NFL TV rules....
  19. Not to mention several wonderful and accomplished people who post on this board.... !
  20. Very true, Lori. Though it is also true that Delaware North has recently taken over Bills merchandising operations (including the store in Rochester), which suggests an effort to get a foot in the door.
  21. Though he did lead (off the top of my head) a comeback against Minn in 2002, and led the team back on a few occasions (against the Jets in the 2002 opener and again in the 4th game of 2004, when his pass to Evans made it 14-13 Bills) only to be betrayed by the defense and/or special teams. Drew was ultimately a failure in Buffalo, but he did start strong, and had his moments. They were just too few and far between.
  22. I am with you Senator. Though I defer to the Dean, my understanding is that the exclusivity only kicks in when the home team is playing at home. That is why St. Louis is only showing the Rams game. Sorry Buffalo fans, but we will have to look elsewhere for our daily "slap in the face..."
  23. I had read so many people talking about the Raiders backing off in the 4th Quarter, but when I saw the highlights I noticed they blitzed like crazy on the last few Marshawn rushes, which was probably why the Bills kept running the ball...
