  1. Wow... Schobel! Roscoe needs to watch out with the dancing... it makes it hard on his blockers!
  2. I hope you (hell, all of us!) have plenty to celebrate tonight. And if you have a case of the Scream, I hope you also have plenty of Charmin and a clear shot to the lavatory,....
  3. I was not watching on TV, and the NFL Game Center hiccuped and missed a bunch of plays in the last few minutes. What the heck happened?
  4. Happy to oblige. That's what makes this board so much fun.
  5. I think that is a very good point. Frankly, I am not sure that I actually like football any more at all. I just root for the Bills.
  6. Amen my brother Bill! Though watching that tonight I was sad to think that the Bills SB Championship, when it comes, will be too late for Tim R, or Jack Kemp....
  7. Are you thinking of "Second String," the TNT movie in which Flutie and the Bills starters get sick and are replaced by backups who take them to the Super Bowl?
  8. Which is especially funny considering he attended the most academically rigorous school in the SEC.
  9. Funny how that trade may have made both partners worse....
  10. Then the NFL would be dead, and could be swallowed up by a sinkhole sucking every person connected to the league into the very bowels of Hell for all I care.
  11. Looks like Jay Cutler is working hard to make this list....
  12. I am no big fan of Gallo, but it is statistically impossible for any Bills fan to dislike anyone on earth or in human history more than Rick "über-douche" Reilly in this video. You have to agree with me on this.
  13. Did not want to sound like a jerk. I actually think that your point is interesting, but one can go much further than an AFL curse. For example, note that 8 teams (Steelers, Cowboys, Niners, P•ts, Raiders, Packers, Redskins, Giants) have won 3 or more Super Bowls, for a total of 30 titles. That is more than 2/3 of the total championships in the hands of 1/4 of the current franchises. If you add in the franchises who have won twice (Dolphins, Colts) you are talking about ten teams (less than 1/3 of the present franchises) holding about 80% of the titles. For all the talk of parity in the NFL during the regular season, championships are rather thinly spread around. What does it all mean? That it is hard to win in the NFL, I guess. Edit: I forgot to include the Broncos, who also have won twice... Also consider this: outside of the Niners and Jets, every team that has won a Super Bowl has also gone at least once and lost, and the Jets have only been once anyway, thus further demonstrating how a relatively few teams have been to most of the SBs.
  14. Interesting stats... though they would be even more impressive if you knew that the AFL originally had 8 teams.
  15. I'm surprised it took so long for the Gröfaz to show up.
  16. Yes, but they only used the no-huddle for the opening drive in that game. They did not commit to it full time until the Eagles game much later in the season, where they scored 24 points in the first quarter.
