  1. Philadelphia I live in the area But Bleed Bills Colors
  2. Oh, bandwagon crashed Negative Nancies Fleeing True fans still billieve
  3. Man, again with the Polian Derangement Syndrome, viz: Bill Polian is a genius, his teams are always great and stacked because he is a genius. But, say some, without one player, Peyton, it all falls apart and the team sucks, does that not prove Polian may be, well, a little fallible? No, not at all, say the PDS sufferers. This is merely proof of his sublime genius, making sure that his team will suck at precisely the correct time.
  4. Not saying it is the same... just noting that Bills fans should not be first in line to mock Sage Rosenfels....
  5. Sage Rosenfels led the Fins to a comeback from 21-0 down against the Bills in 2005.
  6. They can't, they won't. Game's already over and decided. [i know that is not your intended point, nor is it mine... just a gentle reminder that we will not know one way or another until they actually play... ]
  7. But but but... Tony Sparano was a great coach, discovered by The Genius Who Fled The Scene.... Say it with me, people... BPLoDR.....
  8. I ask again.... does this utter collapse of the 'Fins have any impact on the reputation of the Alleged Genius Who Built The Team And Has Fled? Because it should.
  9. Why would Dareus playing well be a concern? Oh, right, because in Gloomville everything is a concern. Sheesh. It is possible that Dareus and Williams are both getting used to playing together. Defenses are slack across the league right now, it may take time.
  10. I was afraid of that. Well, it was fun while it lasted.
  11. He said "amazing," not "impossible" or "miraculous."
  12. On that, we can certainly agree. On to next week!
  13. Of course it was. But that one play is the difference between a first down, which could have led to more... and punting.
  14. Yes, and considering that play would have meant a first down in Cinci territory, and instead the result was a punt and an 80-yard drive to tie the game.. it was a big deal.
  15. I agree completely. The only reason a QB losing the ball should not be ruled a fumble is if he is in the act of throwing, period. The idea that pulling the ball into his body should be protected is idiotic... when any other player on the field who drops the ball when being hit, it is a fumble. And yes, I know that these calls are actually in line with the rule. That only proves to me that the rule is idiotic. None of this is to say that the one call today cost the Bills the game (it certainly did not), but it is still wrong,
  16. The Polian worshippers on this board will spin this as proof of what a genius Bill is for setting the Colts up to draft Andrew Luck.... But I especially liked the OP's comment on media attention. I love the fawning press as much as the next fan, but truth is that up until 12 September, the media (and many people on this board) were outdoing themselves in heaping scorn and derision on the Bills, their players, the FO, and their fans. Even though Buffalo was still the same wonderful place then that is is now, Fitz an Fred were the same people, etc. etc.. As I have said before in this forum and elsewhere (http://therecoveringpolitician.com/friends/ronaldg/ron-granieri-heres-to-the-laundry-and-the-guys-in-it), it is not true that Americans love an underdog. Americans hate underdogs until they win; then they rush to embrace them. Before they win, underdogs are "losers," loveable only in the eyes of their most devoted fans. But to all those who want to jump on the bandwagon, I can only say, "Come on up, and enjoy the ride!" Amazing what a couple of wins can do.
  17. They went 8-8 in his last year, 2000, then 3-13 in 2001 under Greggo
