Brian Moorman was a great punter for a long time, and a great human being. My hat is off to him. But does anyone here think that Bill Belichek or Rex Ryan would have paused for a moment to release a punter that was past his prime? There are theses waiting to be written about the psychology of fans who love their team but then want to paint every decision that team makes in the darkest possible terms.
