  1. That last paragraph sums up well my entire life as a Bills fan. Cheers!
  2. And of course the MMQB piece also circulating here says that the Bills reporting system (coach and GM both reporting directly to owner) is not unique. But pretending that it is unique is a central point in the hysterical dysfunction narrative...
  3. I am honestly confused here: what is the alleged dysfunction? That they fired the coach that every shaper of public opinion demanded be fired? If the GM had given a smooth answer to every question, would these columnists have praised him, or merely dismissed him as a smooth talker? Ralph was attacked for underpaying on coaches and facilities. The Pegulas paid top dollar for Ryan, and allowed him the most lavish coaching staff in the league. He was a bad choice, the team has to go back to the drawing board. So?
  4. I don't think that anyone unable to spell "inevitable," or to use punctuation, should be lecturing anyone else on their intelligence.
  5. Indeed. Madden, of course was a HOF-level coach, who quit because he was burned out before he became a buffoon. Marx is right—first time tragedy, second time farce.
  6. They are not. Unless one is determined to believe otherwise.
  7. Keep moving those goal posts, brother. There's always a reason to be gloomy about the future. Everything in life ends in tears. Everything, sooner or later. But Next week hasn't happened yet. Enjoy the next six days, and I hope we can both enjoy next Sunday.
  8. Golly, who's blinded? I'm not. But you won't even say a win is better than a loss. That's sad.
  9. I see them. And I see the scoreboard. It helps to look at both.
  10. Lots of subjunctive there. They haven't "almosted" yet, and have not lost yet. We'll see what happens when they play the games. I don't predict good things, but I know enough to be happy about good things when they happen. On to Oakland!
  11. True, but they have two more divisional games to play. If you're into waiting for them to play them before surrendering.
  12. This is really the first thing you can say after a win? Man, change your prescription.
  13. Way to go looking for that cloud in the silver lining. Wouldn't want to allow yourself to enjoy a win.
  14. That's nice, but I fear the Dolphins could field no OL at all and still beat SF in MIA. Damn you, Rams!
