    How could he already mesh and know the playbook though? Maybe they'll use him just on more simple routes?

    He'll be used mainly as a decoy is my thought. It's just way too early to be comfortable with the offense. I'd say he maybe has one or two catches on simplistic routes if open. This is a TREMENDOUS pickup in both talent AND pricing. You couldn't ask for a better Beane acquisition.

    He's also limited by the quality and production of his personnel. Just like every other coach in the NFL. You have ***** employees, expect ***** results. It's that simple. Sure, maybe you can squeeze a little better performance out of them, but it is what it is.

    You swing for the fences when you have a team just one player away. Here i don't think just one player does it. The Von year, yes. We're rebuilding a tad. I'd swing for the fences in a year we really think we can win a SB.

    And if we had more than two defenders up, rodgers woulda gotten them into fg range. This was the correct decision. Auto fg or Hail Mary? Lotta the coaching blame game is such hindsight and Monday (well, Tuesday) morning quarterbacking.
