Completely agree. We have a jump start on the 1. Our main rivals look like crap. We are in Allen's second window. Beane had BETTER be busy right now. THIS is where you make a Von signing. (but someone better/more reliable than Von). I'd like to think Davis can be used as a deep threat if need be. Go out an bring in the best difference maker on defense you can find. LB, DE, CB. ALL IN. NOW IS TIME.

My opinion is that the "everyone eats" philosophy was born by trying to have average players pretty much everywhere. Cost effective players. I think the Bills don't like loading up on really any one area (outside of QB) and having a weak spot. Spread money around. Not too much on WR. Example, look at Bengals. No money for OL. All loot was focused on WR group. Everyone eats is just a byproduct of having overall lesser talent, but having it all over. Why have an A+ wr corp with a D- OL? Bills want B's all over the field. Its a money thing imo.

Yep. And it shouldn’t be a mystery why we have no down field threat really other than Davis.

Moving on from the status quo will likely only waste more of Allen’s window. a new coach will want his own staff. Who else gets fired? It will take time to adjust. New plays called and developed. New systems installed. New ideas etc. Wanting different personnel. Fingers crossed the new coach gets it all right. Clocks ticking on Allen too. All sounds good, but this doesn’t happen overnight. It takes time to build. And the odds are you WONT get it right. McD and crew have us right on the brink. Outside of a sb appearance, McD has put forth a highly successful team year in year out. I’d advise staying the course. Turnover of the head coach and/or Beane will set this franchise up for huge failure and disappointment. Same could be said for sticking with the current regime, but man, we’re so close. And it’s not like some amazingly talented, experienced coach is just hanging around out there waiting on a call from the Bills. Ron Rivera anyone? Riding with McD.

Cmon man. The coach? Who do you think kept their heads in the game? Who was calling the correct "go for 2" calls? Who was aggressive??? You do understand THAT team (the Ravens), is a horrible match up for ANY nfl team, right? You do know there IS accountability with your personnel too, correct? SO tired of these McDermott crap threads.

My perspective is don't do anything yet. First game of the season. Things will be messy. AND, it's against a tough rival. I'd wait a few more weeks before deciding anything. This game isn't a good indicator of anything right now.

Reality is this: 1. Fan is wrong. Banned for life. 2. Jackson is wrong. You are a PROFESSIONAL and need to know better regardless of a dumb fan. It’s understandable why it happened, but Jackson needs to do better. But it wasn’t egregious.
