  1. Ummm, wake up, wasn't Vick sacked more than any other QB in the NFL this year?
  2. The Toronto Maple Leafs had a payroll of around 65 million last year and still turned a very healthy profit. Likewise for Detroit, NY Rangers, Philly, etc. There are lots of teams that can afford a 52 million payroll and still turn profit.
  3. I play it, totally adicted to Halo 2 on Live.
  4. You are out of your mind! You Drew fans need to wake up and smell the coffee. Drew nearly GAVE that game to the Steelers. 90% of QBs in the league are not completely locked on one receiver for that entire play where he was 'blindsided'. He was blind to the hit because he absolutely has no ability to go through his progressions like other good QBs do. OR, before the snap, maybe he surveys the field like a veteran QB does and recognizes they are loaded up to the left and are inching up toward the line, can anyone say blitz? I mean, it's not rocket science, this is what the Steelers do! And beyond all of his bonehead decisions and turnovers, he also rarely EVER does anything spectacular to win games or turn the momentum. Good QBs do that.
  5. umm brady is good, but every qb in the league will burn you this bad if your o-line gives you this amount of time to get the ball out. not even blitzberg could lay a finger on him.
  6. You're wrong. The Falcons will not beat the Eagles, the Eagles are way too fast to get beat by Vick's scrambling, and his mediocre pass game won't help. Not sure on the Steelers/Pats game, but nobody is giving any credit to Roth and his ability to throw the deep ball against an average NE secondary. That was Ind. biggest mistake not going down the field. Randle El will also burn Troy Brown BADLY in coverage. If Roth. doesn't make the big mistake INT, I give Pitt. the edge.
  7. Or how about a quarterback who can run the play properly? The pass was so far behind him I don't fault Shaud at all.
  8. NOT? For one, you sound like a 15 year old kid. Secondly, please get your facts straight. That game was a Saturday game, in December, in 1975. I don't recall the exact date, but it was late December and definitely a Saturday. You must have been hit in the head with a snowball too if you were there, and your memory is 4 years off.
  9. I guess our road game will tell the tale if you believe this article? http://www.fanball.com/fb/article.cfm/ID.3139
  10. Does anyone on the board think we still have any chance at a wildcard? I'm always the eternal optimist but is anyone here with me? Remember we have played 3 very good teams and should have won at least 2 of those games, with a chance at the third, even though we've made so many stupid mistakes.
  11. Pete, not to mention, being out of football for so long, and being desperate to get back in can't be a bad thing for an ego. I'm sure Jeff George would be pretty damn humble at this point. And who would have more desire to succeed at this point than this guy? There is no way you can say George could possibly be more immobile than Drew. I'm convinced Drew lost a lot of speed when he got clobbered in NE trying to run out of bounds, because since then he will rarely ever try to scramble. I have never seen a slower QB, Warner, George, Testaverde, nobody is more prone to being sacked than Drew Bledsoe. So, he's immobile. Well, if he is a quick release, accurate guy, that speed weakness can be negated. HE'S NEITHER. EVen the completions he makes are off target! Watch his throws, even the 5 yard dumps. He is absolutely terrible. His skills are gone people. Have you ever thought that maybe, just maybe, he makes our line and receivers look worse than they really are?? He does. He had lots of time on more than a few snaps last weekend and did nothing with them! I do know one thing. You people laugh and joke about Doug Flutie but we would NOT be 0-2 under Flutie. I'd rather have JP learn to play the game from a competitor like him than a washed up guy like Drew. If Flutie is so useless and can't teach younger guys, why does SD hang onto him??
  12. Anyone that has watched Drew play the past 2 games knows that last year wasn't a coincidence, Drew Bledsoe is washed up. There's nothing else you can say, he's done. Even on his short dumpoffs he was off-target, his accuracy is absolutely terrible, and I dare you name a single QB more immobile than Drew Bledsoe. He watched people come right at him 4/5 steps away and did NOTHING on Sunday other than go down. I'd say Jeff George could run this offence far better, with 1 week's prep, hell so could Shane Matthews.
