  1. There is a ton of experience on the raiders staff and punting on that last 4th down seemed to be the right move.
  2. That was yet another example of the officials allowing coaches to change their mind and switch their initial decision. this used to be enforced and was not allowed. Now apparently coaches can just keep changing their mind.
  3. O’Connell got blasted on the throw. The throw was perfect. Herbstreit credited everyone but O’Connell. the exact opposite of how he credits the chiefs.
  4. Wow banks is out too? the bills better smother this running game and then kill them on third down.
  5. You don’t have to challenge for a measurement. You can just ask for one when it is close and it was close enough. so losing a timeout had nothing to do with asking for a measurement.
  6. Why didn’t pierce ask for a measurement? what was that?
  7. Really sucks minshew is out today.
  8. There is no need to live in Los Angeles anymore to work in film/television/music. Especially when you are accomplished like she is. having said that she is from LA so I imagine that is where they will live when his career is over and in the offseason.
  9. That missed field goal feels like the end of the game.
  10. Since when can a lineman engage a player low who is already being blocked? That should have been a 15 yard penalty on KC
  11. Geez, Bolton only made the play because the ball was so terrible thrown. Did herbstreit not see how bad the throw was?
  12. https://bsky.app/profile/agetzenberg.bsky.social/post/3lc446otsnc2k The calm before the snow ❄️⛄️ WR Keon Coleman (wrist) in a red non-contact jersey still
  13. Maybe but things are expensive and that one has the glass case. I still think they are pretty groovy.
  14. anyone ever seen these before? I saw jayson stark posting about them. They look pretty cool. https://www.homefields.com/collections/pro-football/products/highmark-stadium-orchard-park-ny?variant=40379478081625
  15. Williams looked completely clueless. The head coach should have called timeout as soon as he saw him changing plays but at the same time it speaks to how much williams lacks awareness.
  16. Yes but it's a little different situation with the cost of the qb and wr there this time around. Plus I think having hung onto lewis for so long and accomplishing nothing might be what motivates them to change. Again though, they are cheap and do not want to pay guys to coach in other spots when they fire them and they do not want to pay top dollar to a new head coach. Ben Johnson could step right in there it would seem though. No idea how he will be as a head coach though nor does anyone else I guess.
  17. seems the hard knocks guys this year are all going to get canned. Have to wonder if zach taylor is next after the hard knocks afc north show starts this week. if the bengals finish like 6-11 it has to be on the table. They don't like to spend money in cincy though so I am not sure how many years are left on his deal.
  18. I actually did forget until I just read this so thanks!
  19. Caleb Williams has Dak Prescott level awareness. That is a bad sign if you are a bears fan. There is zero reason an nfl quarterback should not understand that situation. there are going to be some mad dudes in that locker room.
  20. The giants should hit rush a bunch today and i think Dallas might get like 6 sacks on Locke. Will be interesting to see how the giants offense plays with Locke today though. both teams would like to play well but lose in the end for draft position. The best case scenario for the giants is to lose on a game winning field goal like 31-30 or something. They are in play for the number 1 pick.
  21. Yea I don’t know man this is a pretty great team. the nfc has a long history however of teams having amazing regular seasons and then getting beat in the playoffs. The two that come to mind are the 07 cowboys (they were 12-1 at one point) and the 2011 packers who finished 15-1. Detroit looks pretty damn good though
  22. You just missed out on seeing maybe the nfls greatest athlete ever Bo Jackson. Had he not been injured I can only imagine what he would have done with like a 12 year NFL career. My friends and I always used to joke about how there is an alternate universe where Bo Jackson and John Elway (both drafted By the New York Yankees) could have been a part of the mid to late 80's Yankees teams with Don Mattingly, Rickey Henderson, Dave Winfield, Willie Randolph etc. An outfield of Henderson Winfield Jackson Elway....Elway was drafted in the 2nd round in 81 and jackson in the 2nd round in 82. k I am 0ff topic. Anyway henry is definitely going to the hall of fame and will crack the top 10 for sure. Going to take some luck to crack the top 7 or so.
  23. Baseball stadium is incredible.
  24. not meant as a diss. Its just a statement in a conversation. Not everything is intended as the final word or some kind of definitive statement. and I just pointed out the all timers because that is who he is compared to. In the end I think he will get into the top 10 but it will be tough to see him get into the top 7. 14k yards is a lot of damn yards.
  25. well I took it as all time so thats on me. A bunch of them would lose a foot race for sure but I still think they were better backs.
