  1. Dallas defensive line is worse than Buffalo's and they have matt eberflus so I imagine this is the kind of signing Dallas will be looking to make if Eberflus likes the player.
  2. This is a mock plus more of an overall potential offseason outlook from Joe Buscaglia at the athletic. Here is the link. Bills mock offseason: Free agents, draft plans, and trade markets https://www.nytimes.com/athletic/6149415/2025/02/21/bills-2025-mock-offseason-free-agent/ I don't want to give the whole thing away but he has a great plan for the offseason. I will just highlight the big things. I will say I wouldn't even pick up the phone and call hollywood brown let alone 2 years for 18 million. Bills cap space to begin the exercise: -$10.13 million The NFL informed teams that the 2025 salary cap would fall between $277.5 and $281.5 million, so for this exercise, we split the difference and put it at $279.5 million. The -$10.13 million hole is far smaller than what the Bills had to deal with last offseason before cutting all their big-name veterans to clear cap space. on von miller - resigned In this case, I had Miller taking a $10 million pay cut — meaning $10 million in cap savings. It would guarantee him over $7 million this season Restructures to Josh Allen, Dion Dawkins and Ed Oliver Release Sam Martin and trade Elam. he has the team resigning Douglas, Hollins, Ty Johnson, Reggie Gilliam, Ferguson and Quinton Morris Trade for Myles Garrett trade details Buffalo receives: DE Myles Garrett, 2026 5th round, 2027 7th round Cleveland receives: No. 30, 2026 1st round, 2027 4th round, DE A.J. Epenesa Free agent signings Hollywood Brown, Derek Barnett Then this is his mock for the rest of the draft. The pick at No. 56: CB Darien Porter, Iowa State The pick at No. 62: DT Jordan Phillips, Maryland The pick at No. 107: LB Chris Paul Jr., Ole Miss The pick at No. 130: EDGE Oluwafemi Oladejo, UCLA Trade! Bills receive Nos. 132 and 245 from Lions for Nos. 170 and 176. The pick at No. 132: S Billy Bowman Jr., Oklahoma The pick at No. 173: G Connor Colby, Iowa The pick at No. 203: WR Ricky White III, UNLV The pick at No. 205: QB Kurtis Rourke, Indiana The pick at No. 245: P Jeremy Crawshaw, Florida New Bills depth chart
  3. proven as false already. In other news Zach Martin retired today. The cowboys had two first ballot hall of famers on their line along with travis frederick who was outstanding and couldn't even make a championship game. All while playing every year in perfect weather conditions and in a division that has had one good team in it over the last decade.
  4. The athletic has a mock draft this morning from all the beat writers. All of the defensive guys we all keep talking about were taken and Joe Buscaglia went with this. 30. Buffalo Bills: Matthew Golden, WR, Texas In case you’re wondering … yes, there were brief discussions with the Browns about Myles Garrett for this mock. While there was no deal this time, the Bills are a clear match in terms of team needs, winning environment and motivation. As for this selection, while the Bills have defensive needs, they also lacked receivers who could separate in the intermediate and deep areas of the field. They also didn’t have a true starter at Z-receiver in 2024. Drafting Golden gives them all those things they were missing, with a tremendous bargain at No. 30. This was the best need-meets-value option on the board, with two second-round picks on the way to address the defense and take advantage of the defensive line depth in this class. — Joe Buscaglia
  5. Didnt he say he hated buffalo and its fans? I imagine he ends up with the chargers or something. I guess maybe wherever rodgers goes. Maybe they are co h0sting a podcast next year together solving pressing world issues while eating taco bell.
  6. https://www.nfl.com/news/2025-nfl-free-agency-derek-carr-tyler-lockett-among-21-notable-cut-candidates-in-nfc?campaign=Twitter_atn potential cuts around the league. interesting note there on cam Jordan. We have his old coach from the saints on staff. of course most teams would be interested in him if he is affordable though.
  7. 100%. He is a giant No. seems like the kind of guy that will land in baltimore or the jets or something. Maybe even Cincy if they end up gutting their roster because of money.
  8. I was just reading that Dalvin tomlinson could be cut in cleveland because of their bad cap situation. He fits the bill as maybe an upgrade over Jones. He might be too expensive though considering that position is probably going to see two rookies get drafted.
  9. that is possible. One of the biggest mistakes a lot of teams make is thinking they are deep at a position and moving guys for mid to late round picks. Then they end up with injuries and are chasing the position during the season. O-lineman can play while. I still consider 26 and 27 young for those positions when have had almost no experience. I guess I just don't want them to weaken a positional group that is strength because you never know what can happen.
  10. if they have edwards on the team at training camp I imagine that would be too late to trade him. He is not keeping the younger guys off the roster, they already have room for those guys. One of those young guys will take his spot next year unless they use a high pick in 26 for that spot, highly unlikely.
  11. I don't think Cooper is interested in playing at a discount honestly. Plenty of teams have cap space to pay a guy like cooper. His play was nothing special here and he too had a wrist injury that limited him. He gets no grief and fans want him back but they ignore colemans injury and hate him. Kind of a weird thing to me. I really cant imagine a scenario where cooper is back unless I am completely misreading the guy and he will play at a discount.
  12. if those are accurate numbers then yes. Jones will not be on the team.
  13. The heat is not being turned up on beane or mcdermott. Sorry to burst your rage balloon. Those guys are safe in their jobs and are in control of the organization. They had a good plan over the last two years with what they wanted to do on offense. Now they are going to turn the plan to the defense. They need a blue chip player either in the secondary or on the defensive line. That is the hope out of those three top 100 picks they have in the first two rounds. Find a blue chip player at one of those positions. also spare me your homer comments. Its just boring. I remember just a few weeks ago when the broncos and ravens rolled into orchard park with their future hall of fame coaches, mvp players and all pro's and pro bowlers all over their lineups and the bills beat them with what you call a non talented team. Pretty weird how that happens. You would think all those great players on those two teams would just win the game. Guess not
  14. I would say the secondary is the first area to be addressed. They need a starting corner opposite benford and they need a starting safety that is a centerfielder. The defensive line is going to get players in the draft and free agency but at least the D line has Groot, Oliver, AJ and Carter. The secondary is screaming for help as we currently sit here. When the league year opens I expect they will sign a safety or a corner depending on how they view those positions in the draft. Basically 3 years in a row in the playoffs they have had serious injuries in the secondary which have really hurt them in those games.
  15. where did the terrific offensive line come from? The great group at rb? A very good group at Tight end? These guys just magically appeared and Beane is responsible for the guys that under performed. Do you realize the ignorance and hypocrisy of what you are saying. I too am not a fan of losing to the chiefs again in the playoffs however I am pretty well aware that the 23 team was completely compromised on defense and the 24 team 5 minutes into the game were playing without their number 1 corner and safety which affected what they could do and how well they could do the basics. It sucks but, missing short field goals and having major defensive injuries are the reason the Bills lost the last two games to the chiefs in the playoffs. This is part of the reason why I am convinced they are going to attack the defense this offseason with young players and a couple new coaches, they hired the coaches already. Just like they attacked and changed the offense after the bengals loss. I have full confidence this front office is going to continue bringing in good players and the soon to be overhaul on defense will pay off. I think they know they need a centerfielder and I think they will address that at the mid level of free agency and then do the same at the wr position allowing them to bring in players on defense, the strength of the draft. Tight ends seemed to be abundant this year and the wr seem to be 2nd and 3rd round guys so it could play out well for buffalo. I imagine a handful of good defensive players fall into the area where the bills have their first 3 picks because the amount of tight ends who will go high will probably a better way to use a 1st or 2nd round pick instead of on a dt.
  16. I understand. I just feel like after they cut him they are going to be looking for a guy just like him on a 1 year cheap deal. Kind of like what they have in him already. Maybe they cut him and use the money to bring back smoot and then draft two young dt's. I won't be shocked if they cut him for sure.
  17. I wouldn't cut daquan until after the draft honestly. I mean I wouldn't do it at all and I am of the belief they will draft two DT's but i can't imagine they do it before the draft. on the other hand, waiting until after the draft to cut him is a really lousy way to treat people. That is not really in the Bills DNA to behave like that. So I guess if they want to cut jones it will be early in the league year so he can find another job and they can use that money. I am hoping they do not though. A DT Group of Ed, Jones, Carter and two rookies one who might be a first rounder or 2nd rounder could be a really good group. if you cut jones then you have to replace him along with bringing in new guys who are hopefully difference makers, jones is a good player to have as part of the rotation.
  18. Ok. Have a nice day.
  19. Are you saying the Bills are not a talented good team? I simply do not understand the mindset of most fans. Which moments was he sulking? Josh just missed him on what would have been a big play td vs denver, he ran a great route and was wide open. Then he drew a huge PI flag. When was he sulking and not playing hard? If he gets hit in stride here and fights off the corner and scores its a great play. kind of similar to plays he had started to make earlier in the season before the injury. https://www.veed.io/view/5cba3bf0-d127-46d8-b14c-4d56d2346ea6?panel=share
  20. Mike Catalana said something interesting on the podcast with sal and matt today, He thinks Howie roseman is going to search around and see what the market is for AJ Brown.
  21. Yea the bills offense was terrible. Maybe next year it will be good.
  22. Whole family are scumbags. Just like Andy Reid’s family. their time is almost up, the worm officially turned on them in the court of public opinion this postseason and they will be hated like they have never been going forward. i am so looking forward to mahomes the classless poor sport losing in the future, on and off the field. He and his family deserve all of it.
  23. Coleman was a 21 year old rookie who had a wrist injury which derailed his season. you make these posts as if Coleman’s ceiling is 550 and 4 touchdowns. completely foolish opinion. Ladd being worth Coleman, shakir and a 1 is one of the most ridiculous things I have read here. I’m surprised you didn’t say sky Moore is better than Coleman and shakir.
  24. is this a threat or something? You said they drafted Carter because he was good in the community. That is false. He was drafted because he is a scheme fit and can play the 3 inside and the 5 outside like he did in college. He also is an excellent person who was a 3 time team captain at a school which requires more than fogging a mirror to get into. He is going to be a good player here going forward, on the field and in the locker room. I mean he may never be an all pro like Troy Franklin but I am pretty confident he is going to be good here.
  25. what? the commanders had 6 picks in the top 100. They had the number 2 pick in the draft. your comparing apples and oranges. Teams have always had the 3 year rule on drafts going back to Tom Landry who essentially was the one to make that a thing. if the bills had the 2nd pick in the draft and took nabers or somebody you would be raving about the bills draft because anytime a big time qb/wr/pass rusher is taken in the top 10 and plays well everyone raves about the draft even if the rest of the guys were just good players not great ones.
