  1. Dallas swapped 2nd round cb bust kelvin joseph to miami for their 1st round cb bust Noah Igbinoghene. I imagine that is the type of deal that can happen if they were to trade elam at some point.
  2. I highly doubt it. Nobody outside the organizations staff knows the inactives for tonight. All these people on twitter whose identities depend on people thinking they know more than they do drive me crazy. this whole idea that isabella and norman being active is A. a good thing is odd B. They probably wont get many snaps if they are. It is nuts that we might seem josh norman playing tonight in an nfl game. I really hope it doesn't happen.
  3. They should do anything and everything they can tonight to win this game. IMO this is a must win. They have to get this win and then regroup. The players need this weekend off to clear their heads and the front office needs to go get them help....hopefully in the middle of the defense. I am really nervous about this game tonight.
  4. Jewell does not do anything really more than average. He is not big, he is not really fast and he doesn't really make any big plays or difference making plays. He has always seemed kind of like a ham and egger. I just am not sure what he would do here being plugged into this defense in the middle of the season.
  5. Yea, it sucks they have to play on thursday but at the same time given the situation this year it is perfect. They get a few extra days to evaluate things and extra time to get a player into the facility, settled in the city and work him into practice. Honestly a defensive tackle and/or a running back should be plug and play essentially but the other positions take time so at least getting a few extra days is a big help here. having said that I expect them to do nothing.
  6. That is not a theory. That is a fact and we have seen it two weeks in a row against two of the worst offenses in the league. The better teams are coming up and they are going to have their way with this defense as it stands today. Its not a great thing when teams have to stand there and watch their team get manhandled at the line of scrimmage. We saw it last year late in the season especially the bengals playoff game. They kind of looked worse last week than the bengals game. The front office has to do something. If they don't then everything has to be examined in the offseason.
  7. I would be interested in Geoff Swaim if he could be had for a conditional 6th pick or something. One of those swaim and a 7 for buffalos 6. He has a lot of experience and can hold up on the line of scrimmage. after that it just feels like they have to go get something for the middle of the defense. Whether it is a linebacker or a tackle. They can not continue like the last two weeks or they are going to struggle to be a .500 team.
  8. All I know is there are no tougher players in this league playing his position. The hits he has taken recently would have ended up as major injuries to most of the guys around the league. I have a sneaking suspicion if the monster hits he has been receiving stop the small subtle mistakes will also and the offense will be rolling again. that's just me though. It seems most are really looking to turn him into a villain here. I got that sense when I first signed up in the spring and it feels like it is building momentum.
  9. They seem to be much better than New England and New York. If teams can just line up and dictate the game up front by running straight ahead with two terrible quarterbacks, teams with excellent weapons like evans are going to be able to score more. hopefully the offense gets going and with a lead the Bucs will have to throw more and the crowd will help the Defense play better. I feel like we have to see this group of guys play well on defense before I will believe it. If Taylor and Jones can play the way they did against this team I am really concerned what is going to happen when they play actually talented offenses.
  10. Teams usually put in a handful of plays that they disputed from the game and get answers from ny on tuesday. I don't think the team nor the league is obligated to make that info public though.
  11. Allen has been beaten up in the last 3 games. I am honestly surprised he is still upright. A couple of those shots in the last two weeks he has taken were really violent hits where he was completely exposed. If he makes mistakes I imagine it is because he is not trusting things around him whether that's the line, the receivers, backs, tight ends or the play call..It probably all is leading to hesitation. I have to think it starts with the shots he has been taking. With Philly, KC, Dallas and miami on the schedule still if this continues he is going to miss time. Those teams are big, physical and fast on defense. The Bills offense needs to go out and have a great game thursday and then regroup and make teams scared of their ability to score in bunches again.
  12. He is like 7th or 8th in touchdowns by Tight Ends over the last couple years. he has accounted for 21 td's in his career....Now he is of no value and can't play?
  13. Yes but that is not the same as playing on the line of scrimmage in the 12 personnel they spent all offseason working on to improve the running game, protect allen better and be an overall more physical team. now they have to ditch it and go empty half the game? Even if you want them in 11 personnel which i can understand Allen has taken a beating the last few weeks. He is not going to make it through the season throwing the ball 40 times a game. The Jags, Giants and Pats beat the hell out of him. Its a miracle he is not injured already or should I say more injured.
  14. how. They want to run the ball and play more physical upfront with two tight ends. They spent the entire offseason working on it. Now they are without the veteran who has been in every situation possible. I just cant see how this is good.
  15. we will not have the team that beat the dolphins again this season. The middle of the defense has been gutted and the top corner is gone which will be huge next time they play miami. We have seen it two weeks in a row already. The giants and bills just ran straight ahead and the bills couldn't stop it in their base defense until they had to change to stop it. With jones and milano the were able to stop that stuff in their base D. This defense just played two horrible qb's and they both had this defense clinging for life all game. When this team plays Cincy, KC, Philly, Dallas and miami again they might get blown out because of the deficiency in the middle of the defense and the quality of those teams running games and offensive lines. I was waiting to see how teams would attack this defense now and we saw it two weeks in a row from two horrible offenses, they dictated the game up front. Throw in whatever is wrong on offense and now teams that in the past that would take high risk plays on third and fourth down are just playing it safe because they know buffalo cant score because something is wrong. It just feels like because of the defense though the bottom could potentially fall out here. They have to win thursday and then over the break figure out the problem on offense. Hopefully they make some sort of trade to help either at WR, CB or DT. They have that extra 3 so this is the year to use it.
  16. its early in the season for this and if they lose thursday there is nowhere else to turn. This as you said though is usually the start of a bunch of bad things....which honestly everything has been bad since white went down late in the dolphins game. Its been one thing after another.
  17. I saw the buffalo plus people talking about this and I can't imagine why they think this? McDermott has a staff of people with minimal experience and he is calling the defense. Instead of adding experience and proven veteran coaches to the staff they removed one. Its all on McDermott. IMO he is in no position to be firing people right now. Its sink or swim for the whole staff the rest of the way this season. Unless the players are complaining internally about Dorsey but even then that is a whole different can of worms. The team needs to play better or no one is coming back from this staff, the head coach taking over defensive playcalling and in the first 7 weeks losing to Zach Wilson and Mac Jones and getting lucky to beat tyrod taylor irregardless of injuries tells me this team has problems firing the offensive coordinator with no in house replacement will not solve. adding talent at the deadline might bring some new energy to a team that seems to be going through the motions at times.
  18. actually he seems like a great fit. his contract says he is not getting traded and if he was it won't be to buffalo's cap situation.
  19. he looked pretty average. It seems with every rush he just allowed the tackle to walk him up the field behind the quarterback. It was like he had no ability to run past a tackle last night except on one play where taylor was moving immediately to his left in the pocket. These were the two worst offensive tackles this team will play all season so this was a real bummer watching it live. Hopefully I am wrong.
  20. absolutely. just like it was on Davis in the first quarter and was missed. The giants media is incredibly whiney this morning about it which I can understand. They seemed to give an effort they have not given all year since this was obviously really important to Daboll and Schoen, no matter what they say. So losing in that fashion is really tough. The giants all year to me have had an extremely glass jaw. They came back against arizona but that was arizona screwing up as much as the giants making plays. The rest of the year the giants have essentially pouted to the sidelines and just hung their heads every week. Last night they came in looking for a fight and got one. I am pulling for the Giants to play better going forward and win some games particularly the jets game so I hope they bring this street fight mentality the rest of the way.

  22. i would like to add that von miller looked pretty pedestrian tonight...hopefully that changes soon
  23. its not how it's how many. this team has to play better going forward. now they need another running back. every week players go down and its crazy.
