he has a liz franc injury and they don't know when he will return. also his days of being a pass rusher seem over. As a five technique playing on the strong side vs the run he is still pretty good. His long arms are a huge asset. They are not trading him because of the injury but they wouldn't even if he wasn't. Jerry doesn't trade players like him. He only dumps players who do something that he gets mad about on a personal level, like jay ratliff yelling at him in the locker room or amari cooper seemingly not giving his best effort in road games.

the best 1 tech available it seems is Davon Godchaux. He is the prototypical 1 tech, big pile of dirt in a trash can to play the run. I have read sf is in talks with New England for him from Dianna Russini and from a pats website they had him going to Minnesota for a reunion with Brian Flores. Seems like compensation is a fifth. I just dont think they are going to trade a pick for a 1 tech.

You are moving the goal posts and saying stuff that does not matter. Miami is a good team that has a bad record because of the injury to tua. Its a week to week league. Miami was playing for their season today. If you want to complain about the defense that is fine but at least understand the philosophy behind the defense because it is going to continue.

The philosophy has been the exact same every week. The only week it has burned them so far is the ravens game. Next week the colts will come and it is going to look a lot like the titans game early. Buffalo will not aggressive defensively until they have a big lead or they have figured out the other teams tendencies. They are begging teams to run the ball on them by design. They could do what miami did today and play with 7 or 8 guys at the line of scrimmage all day but they do not want to give up big plays on defense and they haven't 0utside of the ravens game.
