Rodgers said his knee is a little swollen today but he will be fine. The Vikings may beat him up even worse. side note the bills texans game is the best of the week and its at noon.
-
I can't imagine any scenario where Buffalo would even be interested.
-
If I ran the Raiders I would have my people start leaking stories that Rodgers is unhappy with the jets personnel and really wants a reunion with Adams and how he thinks he is the missing piece. I would have little stuff like this everyday putting the squeeze on Joe Douglas. If the perception becomes that Rodgers is unhappy with the front office when he already does not really respect the head coach Douglas may end up engaging them in talks and over paying. He is a really terrible General Manager whose job is hanging in the balance.

within the next 48 hours it will be Hilarious when the raiders send him to KC for 25 bags of ice and a conditional 7th in 2029 while Vegas picks up his salary. Like the moss deal to the pats.

Tom Pelissero: Bills Sign DT Zion Logue off of Falcons PS
MikePJ76 replied to Arkady Renko's topic in The Stadium Wall
I don't know. I feel like our ends and oliver are going to hit stroud a bunch sunday. He stands there forever with the ball. I wouldn't be surprised if they have 3 or more sacks. -

I was just asking because he is basically the same player as johnson, same size and everything. Johnson is an 8 year veteran and logue is a rookie on an nfl practice squad. -

Is he an upgrade over Johnson? -
OR He has a broken finger(s) on his left hand and he does not feel comfortable tucking the ball in that hand and using his right hand to stiff arm and therefore he runs until there is a chance at contact and then he gets down because he doesn't want to get hit, so he doesn't fumble or injure the fingers(hand) worse.

https://www.nfl.com/prospects/zion-logue/32004c4f-4782-4407-9200-767622ed6c1a draft profile. Looks like he is an old school two gapper. Dane Brugler's write up where he had him as the 29th DT in the Draft....Carter was 12th. 29. ZION LOGUE | Georgia 6055 | 314 lbs. | 5SR Lebanon, Tenn. (Lebanon) 7/13/2001 (age 22.78) #96 YEAR (GP/GS) TKLS TFL SACK FF PD INT NOTES 2019: (2/0) 0 0.0 0.0 0 0 0 Redshirted; Enrolled in May 2019 2020: (5/0) 8 1.0 0.0 0 0 0 Pandemic-shortened season 2021: (15/0) 11 1.0 1.0 0 0 0 2022: (14/6) 16 0.0 0.0 1 1 0 Missed one game (injury) 2023: (14/10) 17 2.5 0.5 0 2 0 East-West Shrine Bowl Total: (50/16) 52 4.5 1.5 1 3 0 HT WT HAND ARM WING 40-YD 20-YD 10-YD VJ BJ SS 3C BP COMBINE 6055 314 10 33 1/2 80 1/4 5.14 3.00 1.81 29 9’1” 4.92 - - (no 3-cone or bench press — choice) PRO DAY 6056 318 9 3/4 33 1/4 80 3/4 - - - 24 1/2 - 4.83 7.85 17 (stood on combine run and broad) SUMMARY: Zion Logue was raised by his mother and grandmother outside of Nashville. He played both ways at Lebanon High and registered 57 tackles (6.0 for loss) and had a touchdown catch as a senior, leading the program to its first playoff appearance in 15 years. A three-star recruit, he grew up a Tennessee fan but opted for the stability at Georgia. A reserve most of his time in Athens, he started as a senior but averaged just 25.1 snaps per game in 2023 and finished his career with 52 tackles in 50 games played. With his size and length, Logue is a solid run defender who can eat blocks and eventually work off contact using the force in his hands. However, there aren’t enough quick sheds on his tape, which limits his playmaking potential. With ordinary upfield burst and pass rush skill, he struggles to create pressures. Overall, Logue offers two-gapping skills and is better than what his stat sheet suggests, but he might not be disruptive enough to distinguish himself at the next level. GRADE: Priority Free Agent -
Looks to me like once he injured that hand he knows he can not be all out running outside of the pocket and looks to get down so he doesn't get hit. Which I am all for. We have excellent running backs, let them run the ball. Allen has been hurt in three straight seasons now and is always battling an injury.

Tom Pelissero: Bills Sign DT Zion Logue off of Falcons PS

Well they have to deal with Joe Mixon this week and if they don't stop him running free right in the interior they are going to do it 25 times. So hopefully they can get that squared away sunday and this guy can help.....although he could be inactive since he is just getting here. -

austin johnson hurt or on his way out? -
I have bought stuff for four people already, I was so proud of myself... and then I realized I think I paid a scammer via an instagram ad....Damn gilmore girls advent calendar.....So now I am in the process of getting my money back. Bought two of those abercrombie team throwback sweaters for my father in law and uncle...Eagles and Giants fans...Bought myself a Bills one too so I can dress like Marv Levy around the house....tip for anyone buying one of these, they are like a size bigger than they say.

i agree 100%. It makes sense that cook was livid on the sideline. They were just starting to get a push in the running game.

I'd love for us to trade for Amari Cooper

I don't think it was just that. He had some weird issues. They claimed he did not want to play hurt and he was a different player on the road. -
Traditionally when teams get the ball via a takeaway or a big stop and are around midfield they take shots or run gadget/trick plays. After looking at it again today it was a mess from the start. Its a shame Samuels wasn't just tackled and they moved on to third down. The risk in this play was way too high to run at that time. the flip side I guess is that if dawkins kicks van noy way out wide and allen can step into the throw he might have hollins in the endzone on the sideline and all of a sudden its a 21-17 game. doesn't matter now.

He has some quirky issues which is why Dallas dumped him for a 5th round pick. Not sure he would enjoy playing in the Buffalo weather (yes I know he is in Cleveland). When He was in Dallas he basically was different guy in road games. -
yea it looks like dawkins was supposed to push him really wide allowing the handoff to Allen and he then would have reset in the Pocket. If you look at torrance and brown they push their guy way inside on purpose which would have set Allen up in a nice comfortable spot in the pocket....which begs the question on why a trick play that really does nothing. If they want to do this type of stuff go old school and run a flea flicker. anyway, everyone blamed torrance last night and to me it looks like Dawkins inabilty to push van noy further up the field (or at all) ruined the play...it disrupted the timing off the pitch to allen and caused allen do have to retreat. Just terrible all around. If dawkins gets his block Allen probably takes the shot to hollins because he had the corner beat and the safety was too far upfield it looks like. Probably a contested catch right on the sideline in the endzone. Its too bad they just didn't tackle Samuels before he pitched it!
-
this play makes the hamlin fake punt play seem brilliant. ? To top it off they allowed 4 free rushers to him as he is getting the ball. This was designed to be given back to Allen who would end up back in the pocket and then he would have two options deep. Coleman was not deep enough to validate running this play and Hollins would have been open I guess. The best thing that could have happened there was Samuels just got tackled and held the ball. Once he pitched it to Allen, Allen was pinned down in the corner with 4 free rushers in his face. Dawkins completely whiffed and ruined the whole damn play. Just a clusterfudge of nonsense when they had momentum and were running the ball finally.
-
yes but it was the third quarter and he was just getting started. If they dont run that play and he gets maybe 10 more carries and they make it a game or comeback to win he might have ended up with like 17 or 20 for 100 or so yards and maybe a TD. You could literally see the difference, the line was finally getting push and he was going through the holes like he normally does. Then they killed it on a bad play.
-
Dan Fetes said on the buffalo plus postgame yesterday that Cook was livid on the sideline after they ran the option/trick play. He had every right to be. They were moving guys up front and he was just getting going and then they run one of the worst plays ever, pinning down the focal point of the offense in a corner with 4 unblocked guys running full speed at him. It was awful. I hope cook has a huge game this week.

they are, they fix everything. and we will all see that when they trade for Adams and Hopkins. That will fix everything and the Bills will never lose again.
-
probably not, I don't see the bills winning another game this year. Soft, Bad OC, All the WR are garbage and you can not beat any good teams with this group of wr, the kicker is the worst in the league and the head coach is terrible. The jets do everything right and have a great kicker, one of the great thinkers of our time at quarterback and a tremendous head coach who is in lock step with his team and man are their wr great. Probably Jets 49-6 in NJ and 42-12 in Buffalo. 3-14 is on deck and then next year all ten draft picks will be WR to solve all the teams problems, might even hire Jerry Rice to be head coach because WR are great head coaches too.
