  1. Yes it does. The Line needs to be rebuilt. Right now Buffalo has 10 picks. 30, 56, 62, 107, 130, 170, 173, 176, 203, 205 if they made a deal like we mentioned in the other threads they would/could have. 56 62, 130, 137, 170, 173, 176, 203 and 205. They would still have good picks to use on the defensive line. 56 and 62 can still get them two defensive lineman or a DL and Corner or safety.
  2. i am not so sure. The difference between 23 and 30 is not much as far as first round compensation goes. Doubs is on an expiring contract and had to be suspended to show up after just blowing off the team last year because of his role in the offense. Coleman or Kincaid are rock solid people with multiple years left on their contract at affordable prices.
  3. They both cost a lot. Good players cost a lot. If you make one of these moves and lose two or three picks plus two or three players you might have extended you are really altering your team and your plan. It's very risky. The bills would be giving Seattle a player with two or years left on a rookie contract, a first and a fourth round pick for Metcalfs giant cap number and a four. GB would be giving a wr with an expiring contract and a locker room risk and a first round pick. Buffalo's deal would be better honestly no matter if its kincaid or coleman. I wonder if Buffalo would not have to give the 4th to them. Since kincaid or coleman is great for their books that should allow buffalo to keep their four. Kincaid/Coleman and 30 for Metcalf and 137. That fourt rounder from Seattle would be them essentially paying buffalo for the cap space they are getting by moving metcalf. The bills are getting two fifth round comp picks so if they could get that kind of a deal its a no brainer and they would still have 9 picks or so.
  4. Yes but Garrett's number is 19 million with two more seasons before he is an unrestricted free agent. Metcalf's number is 31 million and is an UFA next year. Major difference.
  5. easier said than done. You essentially have to get Seattle to agree to the trade compensation and then you have to get together with metcalf's agent and come up with an extension. Then the other side of the pancake, which player(s) does this cost you going forward? Who does not get extended and who might you have to cut to make cap space for this year for this deal to work? lets say you make that trade, then you get an extension done and it costs no extensions for Benford, Bernard and Cook and you have to release Matt Milano. There is a lot more to it than just the trade compensation.
  6. The Deal from that Report is Romeo Doubs & 23 for DJ Metcalf and 137 or 173 and you want to give up Keon Coleman or Dalton Kincaid, 30 and 107 or 130 Then you have to add in Metcalf's 2025 Cap number, 31 Million and workout an extension with him. Seattle wants to move Metcalf because of his cap number and dead cap in the future, GB wants to move Doubs because he complained last year and they had to suspended him to straighten him out. Why would you want to include Coleman or Kincaid in the deal? I would much rather have Metcalf on the field with Coleman/kincaid. Is Seattle only interested in trading him for a wr. With the extra one I imagine Seattle would use it on a tight end. I guess I just wouldn't even consider Kincaid. I understand coleman because that is a straight swap, plug in metcalf for Coleman's snaps but no way on kincaid. Since you are offering a 4th rounder 23 picks higher and Keon Coleman a player under contract for 3 more seasons as opposed to Doubs who needs a new contract and has shown he will complain and pout over his role in the offense it seems Coleman should be enough. Coleman, 30 and 130 for Metcalf and 137 Seems like a good deal for both teams. Seattle gets cap space, a young wr under contract for 3 more years and two good picks and Buffalo gets what they have been chasing plus 137. It seems the hardest part would be figuring out what to do with Metcalf's salary.
  7. Pretty interesting. The draft is in Green Bay so I imagine GB is not moving their first round pick. The packers have picks 23, 54, 87, 123, 160, 200, 239 and 251 GB WR's Romeo Doubs, Jayden Reed, Christian Watson, Dontayvion Wicks, Bo Melton, Julian Hicks, Cornelius Johnson So I imagine the wr is Jayden reed and pick 54. I guess it could be Romeo Doubs since they had some issues with him.
  8. I think he said it last year on halloween when he was wearing his Gargamel Costume.
  9. The NFL PA Union should step in and offer help with this imo. They use this as a semi farm system, yes I know college football is the minor league system but this league develops players too. The league should be providing Health Insurance for the players, I mean come on. Salaries I understand a hard line stance from both sides because I imagine they are all operating at a loss or near it but health insurance should be a no brainer.
  10. Where's Willy Wonka when you need him. I want, I demand.... Ooompa Loompa.
  11. Dane Brugler was on one bills drive today.
  12. speaking of dak and the cowboys, I heard on the radio this morning here that The Cowboys are going to resign their DT Osa Odighizuwa to a 21 million a year deal and that Parsons is looking at a deal at 42 million a year. Pretty funny.
  13. ha! Nope I am just here for the nonsense. Not a fan of either of those guys so the more absurd they look the better.
  14. The bills should look into Jordan schultz, apparently he almost started a fight with Ian Rappaport in a starbucks yesterday. Rich kids. I find this story pretty funny. I wish they got into a hair pulling fight and were rolling around the starbucks floor. It would have been hillarious.
  15. He has directly mentioned the Defensive line each time he has spoken. He even went as far as saying the best teams he has been on had a good qb, oline and dline. Then he said we have the qb and o line. They are going to invest in the D line this year I am just not sure which way they go about it at the moment.
  16. if he went to the Giants and they drafted Travis hunter and made him a wr The Giants would be turned around over night.
  17. actually it was 15 games. Many here forget, that 3 game road stretch of Baltimore, Houston and the Jets the team was battling injuries to Cook, Dawkins, Samuels, Shakir. Cook didn't play vs the Jets. That is why they struggled so much against houston. Without samuels and shakir and cook playing banged up that day they just did not have any juice. They then overreacted and dealt a third to cleveland. Just a terrible trade then and now.
  18. I wanted Miller gone last year, I still am not convinced he is going to get cut. Joe Buscaglia made a very good case for lowering his cap number with another pay cut since he will count against the cap anyway.
  19. yep and the best part was it wasn't hidden in code or anything he said it right out. People hear what they want to hear. Man defense is this years number 1 wr. They are just never going to shut up about it as if its some magic thing. Its fascinating watching people twist things into something they can complain about.
  20. Are we going to add beane’s comments today about Coleman? Or since they are not negative will they just be overlooked? gee I wonder which it will be.
  21. https://www.nytimes.com/athletic/6159126/2025/02/25/bills-khalil-shakir-contract-extension/ What stands out most about Shakir’s on-field ability was his consistency, dependability when targeted and underrated run-after-catch ability. While Shakir primarily lined up as the slot receiver, he also did much more than just work the middle areas of the field. He was a critical target on wide receiver screens to try and spread out a defense. When plays broke down, and Allen needed to improvise, Shakir showed a terrific knack for finding open space and, even at times, getting behind the defense for a big play. On top of all that, his contact balance to fight through tackle attempts is one of the best in the league. While he isn’t the flashy receiver with gaudy stats, his consistency reflects the perfect embodiment of the type of glue guy the Bills have tried to keep since head coach Sean McDermott and general manager Brandon Beane arrived in 2017.
  22. He is going to get cut. Nobody is trading for that contract. well nobody that is good at their job is trading for that contract.
  23. Mike Catalana, Dan Fetes and Sean McDermott
  24. Actually smoot and carter also had wrist injuries like cooper and coleman. Cost Carter the rest of his season essentially and smoot made it back for the playoffs. I hope they resign smoot.
  25. Watch the buffalo plus video I posted here, he says the same things about coleman again to Mike Catalana. Then the guys explain how he said the same thing about Cole Bishop. They also point out that this is the organization motivating these guys to go and work their tails off and to show up ready to go in a few months. And I think that is all it is. Dan Fetes points out very nicely that Terrell Bernard went and worked his tail off after his rookie season and came back ready to go. That is what McDermott and Beane are talking about here. It won't stop the we need a number 1 WR guys from using this as another reason to complain though.
