The Bills were +3 in the playoffs last year. This defense gets takeaways. It's their best attribute. They don't give up big passing plays and they get Takeaways.

Just as a note but if Buffalo is the 2 and they play Denver or Indy the game is going to look a lot like this. In fact I really fear the colts because they have the parts to run 50 times and throw 15 times in a bad weather game. They would have a huge size advantage 0n the buffalo defense.

Not sure but that would eliminate Denver and Miami I believe. I also think The colts get in if they get to 9 along with those other teams.

The pats didn't gift them anything. Those were takeaways. Cam lewis made a great play and they punched out and forced two fumbles recovering one. There were no gifts.

It's not an X's and O's issue. It's the jimmy and the joe's. They need to turn over every leaf this offseason to be more physical up front on defense next year.

They won and kept the hope for the 1 seed alive. What's the problem exactly? this game was like many other home games this year. They get pushed around in the run game early and then stop it in the second half and win the game. I just don't understand fans.

I would love to hear what the coaches did wrong? This was about the line of scrimmage and buffalo getting pushed around in the first half. Once they took the lead that ended much like the rest of the year

I think honestly they are just average up front on defense and when the other team is in 12 Personnel with a mobile cornerback and you stay in nickel defense, it' a tough ask. The bills are built to stop the pass and they just played their third straight game against teams that went and played big in the run game. in the end they got two takeaways and won the game when new england had to pass. Not much different than the cardinals, dolphins, titans home games.

Giving up on a 12-3 team after a win before the playoffs even have started is one of the most incredible things I have seen from a fan. The Bar is so high for the Bills and allen that when they play close nfl games and win their own fans give up on them. Amazing.

Bill Parcells always said he liked when his teams played these types of games late in the year because you won but the team knows it has to play better and the coaches could stay on them. also sometimes Parcells just dumped the garbage on their heads to wake them up

Now they need a takeaway to swing this game and put the doubt on New England. Really don't want this to be a 1 possession game late.

all this over reacting. Geez. and for the record this is not and X's and O's issue this is a Jimmy and the Joe's issue. If you get whipped at the line of scrimmage on defense you are going to have a hard time doing anything especially getting off the field on third down. They need to score and get a takeaway somehow. Not recovering that fumble was huge.

The only way to offset this is with a takeaway and then more takeaways. That is the way this bills team wins on defense. Without them they are a defense with a below average defensive line that can not take advantage of teams with problems up front. They need to dedicate the offseason to getting more physical and flat out better on the line of scrimmage on defense.

there have been I think 4 missed extra points around the league today. I hope that doesn't carry over to the late games...well at least not for the home teams.

Rodgers just suffered an ankle injury of some kind. it has felt all day that the jets are trying to get rodgers his 500th TD at home. I bet next week the team puts in a lousy effort if rodgers is banged up.
