Yep. Another concern is the familiarity Payton has with Aaron kromer and the Bills run game. He was with Payton in new orleans. I imagine that will be something that helps them.

Sean Payton has been a part of a number of big playoff upsets. Giants over the vikings in the nfc championship, Beating Manning in the super bowl, Beating favre in minnesota in the nfc championship. Hopefully buffalo can line up and run right at them and push them around. Going to be a tense week. also I am curious to see what Romo says about the Denver Bills matchup. Romo is close with payton, payton is the reason he signed in Dallas essentially. Payton tried to trade for romo when he became head coach in New Orleans, offered Dallas a 2 and Parcells said no.

the trick is going to be playing with a lead and shutting down their run. everyone is going to spend the week saying they can't run the ball but stats don't matter. Payton will run 40 times if Buffalo can't stop it and then nix will run too. Playing Denver will be a tight game because of their defense. The key is just playing with a lead. Can't chase the game like they did vs ariz, tenn, miami, new england etc. because Sean Payton will just run the clock out.

Listening to Joe Brady on the pregame and he said they have a standard on offense and he expects them to play to the standard today no matter who plays. He said he is excited to see some of the younger guys play and get reps against the pats defense because of their scheme. He wants to see trubisky play well and not just handoff. He noted that unlike the preseason in the regular season you can not just rest all your starters. A lot of the guys will play all game and he expects them to play to the standard.

Apparently he has 1 year left on his deal and the team has not even approached him about an extension. This is odd? Are they going to trade him and promote Flores. This is a really wild rumor honestly. Why in the world would the vikings not rehire one of the best offensive coaches in the league? Doesn't make much sense. Maybe its his agent putting it out there today to pressure the vikings to give him a monster extension.

I have zero faith the people currently running the pats will make the best use of the #1 pick. They are a mess and seemingly are bringing everyone back to try it again next year. i want the bills to win. The pats having the number 1 pick means nothing to me and the bills winning 14 games in a season is pretty great.
