No one here should be talking about the ravens. This game this week is going to take every thing the bills have to win. They will probably need a bounce to go their way too. It’s going to be a battle Sunday and this team needs cooper to win it.
-
Cooper must have a sick family member. what else would keep him away from a playoff game. if there is some way he misses the game and the bills lose after giving up a top 100 pick for him, well don’t get me started. Hopefully his family and friends are ok and he is back on Wednesday.

the flip side of that is that had they lost to the cardinals, dolphins and colts they would have had winning records. none of that matters. Teams can only play their schedule. Everybody is 0-0 now.

My favorite Irish player ever.

The broncos are built kind of like the jags teams they struggled with the last couple years. Good wr, can run the ball with power and on the interior and have a mobile qb along with a good defense. I just can't shake the idea that Payton is going to come out in big sets and challenge Buffalo right away and see how physical they are and see if they stay in nickel. If the Bills can stop he may run the ball a ton and kill the bills with T.O.P. making each buffalo possession twice as important and making any mistakes or 3 and outs killers. on the flip side if buffalo stands up the running game and puts the game in nix's hands on third and long over and over in that environment there may be false starts, holds and some quick dumpoffs. Field Position, Playing with a lead and T.O.P. will be the key imo and it all starts with showing the broncos that they can handle the physicality up front in the running game. If Buffalo can't stop the run right up the gut in the A and B gap early we are going to be making diamonds out of coal.

Yes I know where Denver is. but I am wondering what is the coldest game they played this year? Was it yesterday?
-
Anyone know what the coldest game the broncos played in this year? They played the night game at Cincy and yesterday’s game at home. going to be like 25 ish Sunday.

He is busy please go away.

Yea i realized after I posted it was definitely not 9-3 and I was just doing it off the top of my head and someone corrected me right away so I didn’t bother to edit it. and yea I didn’t mean they were great but losing tua kills them. They just seem especially unprepared for it when they have a qb with a very delicate situation.
-
Yea I know it’s a sad state of affairs.

it costs a lot of money to fire a staff with years left and hire a whole new staff and pay the going rate for these young offensive minded head coaches. The brown family does not do that. I can't imagine they make any changes.
-
they dared the bills to keep running the ball. They were running all over them and for some reason they kept throwing the ball. Its why dorsey was fired. the bills should have run like 40 times that night but payton knew they would keep throwing the ball. wilson threw that lollipop TD in the endzone that should have been batted down but oh well. Then of course the penalty at the end. Nix makes this an entirely different game and so does the season nick benitto is having. also for fun the Broncos have 3 pro bowlers this year as opposed to the bills two. So they have more pro bowlers and a better head coach. I hope the media hammers this Broncos are going to win narrative all week. It is the perfect setup for Buffalo.
-
that is anti what they did this offseason though. They wanted size. They have samuels and shakir to play inside. they needed big guys on the edge for multiple reasons. I bet they draft another big guy this draft in the middle rounds somewhere.
-
Im not saying he shouldn't have had a better game yesterday but much like the preseason the balls thrown to him were not very good. Two of them were short. You can count me on the ledger of not putting too much into what he does with trubisky or white. If either one 0f them has to play the bills are cooked anyway. They both look pretty awful to me. Trubisky throwing anything beyond 5 or 6 yards looked pretty poor.

The national media (of whom most can not name 3 players on the bills defense) building the broncos into the 85 bears all week is perfect for buffalo. this is exactly the situation we need. It’s the anti bengals take from two years ago. Two years ago it was the bengals line is terrible and the bills will blow them out. so having the media building up the broncos defense is perfect. Let the bills players hear that all week. They clearly responded to this type of thing going into the lions game. i hope it continues.

Wild Card date and time (rumor/speculation)
MikePJ76 replied to SectionC3's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yea. That is what I said isn’t it? Like I said I remembered because I had oxygen delivered during the game so I could avoid going to the hospital. -
No. Campbell was with Sean Payton in New Orleans. Campbell played for Payton in NY and in Dallas and through 1 training camp with the saints. Bill Parcells is Sean Payton's Padre. Campbell was hired to his first job in miami by Tony Sporano. Sporano was with Payton in Dallas under Parcells and was hired as the Dolphins head coach by Bill Parcells when he took over the dolphins in 08. Aaron Glenn played for Parcells in NY and in Dallas. He played for Payton in New Orleans. Payton Hired Glenn to be the saints DB Coach and then Campbell hired him to be the DC in Detroit. Ben Johnson was on the staff with Campbell in Miami, Campbell kept Ben Johnson in Detroit when he was hired as the HC, and Johnson worked under Anthony Lynn originally in Detroit yet another Parcells guy having been on that same staff with payton, sporano in 05-06 in Dallas.
-
Dan Campbell is going to have two of his hand picked coordinators get head coaching jobs this offseason. That is pretty good for a guy everyone uses as a punchline. I guess you could make the case all these guys are part of sean payton's tree and in essence Bill Parcells actual coaching tree. but for now Campbell is going to have the start to a coaching tree with his two coordinators getting head coaching jobs in a few weeks. That is two more than Mike Tomlin in like 15 years as HC in pittsburgh.
-
thats true but they have a rookie qb who has been getting better week after week. Records don't matter anymore. Everyone is 0-0 in the tournament now.
-
imo if they are able to pressure hurts he will fall apart just like Darnold tonight. The difference is you have to stop their running game first and that wont be easy for anyone in either conference.
-
ironically the rams lost their backup rb blake corrum to a fractured forearm today.
-
looked like a hold at the start and a PI at the end

Every year, the most important games are always won and lost at the line of scrimmage. We are seeing that tonight. The vikings have all the flash and firepower and the lions defensive line is whipping them up front. a tale as old as time. You want to win, you have to be excellent up front on both sides of the ball.
