If he can show he can hold up in the preseason his versatility will get him to the roster but I can't imagine he will ever be active on gameday this season. He is the kind of player they are going to need to fill out the roster going forward though. Lots of position flex guys who are young and on rookie deals.

Broeker seems like the kind of player who will have to fight for a roster spot and if he is able to earn one he will be inactive on gameday all year. Probably destined for the practice squad.

If the Bills wanted Hopkins this is the spot to make a move. THey have no 7th round picks. Call them and ask them to pay half his salary and offer them 230 and next years 7th. I can't imagine they are actually interested in him however.

I would imagine they are looking to add picks for next year. This roster on defense is going to change a lot next year so the more picks the better. the other option here is they want more 7th's if that is what they got so that they can draft guys there instead of having to bid on them and fight for them as priority free agents when the draft ends.

that is a very poor way to look at it. Hopkins is old and expensive. Old players get hurt, when things are going bad old players point fingers. that 3rd round pick could fill a huge need in a position we do not even know we need at the moment. You never know what can happen. If you want to trade for hopkins you offer the bare minimum and make them eat half the money. WR are never the difference in championships.

If buffalo were to want vaughn I think they will have to take him at 205 and I don't think he helps them enough to take him there. Dallas apparently loves him and his father is the assistant scouting director in Dallas.
