its faith no more....they had a few good albums. Ahh yes the punk output is good from SF. That is the early 80's though so over 40 years.

off the top of my head I can't think of a band from SF in the 90's.....The melvins moved their and the 4 non blondes were a sf band but not great... Can't think of any from the indy movement in the 00's either or currently.

side note... is journey the last great band to come out of SF? I can't think of a great one from their in the last 25 years.

well the qb's are much weaker for sure. this game looks really bad for shanahan and lynch. Today has been a big confirmation day for Lamar Jackson in Baltimore and now these two here in SF. they have been able to keep their roster the way it is because purdy makes no money and trey lance is counting a little still. completely missing on lance and dumping him and now losing at home in the playoffs with the guy they went with is just a bad look. the cousins to sf will be the talk of the nfl by the time we get to the combine.

it will be interesting with Shanahan and John Lynch going forward. They seem to make as many bad moves as they do good and it feels like if they lose this game at home tonight they may have peaked as an organization.

The lions play offense exactly how I want a team to play. its fun to watch the underdog bully the favorite and especially in the running game.

the lions have the exact personnel on offense to beat the chiefs. they also have the unique aspect in Goff who has beat Mahomes twice and is 2-0 vs him. and I will add in that Campbell played against Reids teams in Philly for years and understands the toughness it takes to beat him, same with spagnuolo.

the 1991 washington redskins are the best team i have ever watched and yes i saw the 85 bears, 89 niners and 07 pats. they had everything, the only weakness was rypien and he was great in 91, played better than he ever had or would ever again.

he got shut out for essentially the final 3 quarters. the chiefs defense was fantastic again this week. not debating how good mahomes is but the ravens scored 10 points while the chiefs defense got 3 takeaways.

this game was a disaster from start to finish for baltimore. barring some kind of miracle finish they got outclassed in every aspect of the game.

Goff has had some success vs the chiefs and beat them this year. the lions offense is perfectly suited to attack the chiefs defense.

there it is. detroit is all that stands between the chiefs and another super bowl.
