Diggs OF DALLAS Torn ACL- Done for year
MikePJ76 replied to BuffaloBillyG's topic in The Stadium Wall
that would be a terrible decision for the Bills. Also, the Cowboys missed on their own corner a few years ago in kelvin joseph. Instead of him riding the pine and just waiting for him to get in trouble off the field they traded him this year to Miami for their failed 1st round corner, Noah Igbinoghene. Diggs replacement is Daron Bland who had a great rookie season and they will be fine. He is their slot guy though so they now are weaker in the slot with jordan lewis having to start again. -
I wonder if he is sick like jordan phillips was.

Bears DC Alan Williams Leave of Absence
MikePJ76 replied to Captain Caveman's topic in The Stadium Wall
Is this a nate newton situation? Is he trying to be the pot kingpin like nate was? or is he a coke dealer like former bears wr sam hurd was. -
I'm going to watch the first two washington games tonight after I get done working. They seem like a very talented physical team with an OC who has a ton of experience against buffalo and a head coach who knows everything about Mcdermott....i guess that is a two way street though.

Bears DC Alan Williams Leave of Absence

Geez what is going on. A few Weeks ago wander franco's career came to a halt for dating 15 year old girls and now whatever this is.. -
This is going to be a physical game. That line seems to high.

It's Early of Course but the Schedule Now Looks a Lot Easier

i cant believe this is still a thing. this is the biggest nothing burger ever a few weeks ago Yankees radio color commentator Suzyn Waldman was caught as they were coming back from commercial.."God this is boring" because the yankees have been striking out so much" She didn't apologize and no one got all upset. this whole thing is stupid.

Josh Allen made some history with his 3 TDs
MikePJ76 replied to 78thealltimegreat's topic in The Stadium Wall
This is true but also with a subtle change in the offense there has to be time for him and the offense to adjust. now should he make risky throws no but I imagine it is going to take half the season or so for him and the offense to get used to playing this way. In the long run it will pay off. The jets have a defense perfectly built to stop buffalo, the bills do not like to run and the jets can get a pass rush with 4 guys and drop 6 or 7 and stay in two deep. They just have Buffalo's number. This happens to teams/players all the time. Peyton Manning would make the same constant mistakes vs new england for years in the post season so did brett favre with Dallas in the playoffs. anyway, The bills lining up in 12 personnel, putting josh under center and handing off to the two bigger backs was great yesterday and I hope they continue it. Sooner or later teams will have to stop playing two deep because they will now have to play physical and stop the run going in. When that happens Allen is going to kill teams down the field. meanwhile this week the bills offense will be tested again much like week 1. The Commanders can get home with 4 or 5 and drop 6 or 7 all day if buffalo wants to throw the ball 45 times. -
Bills missed opportunity to ditch McD and sign genius Sean Payton
MikePJ76 replied to 4merper4mer's topic in The Stadium Wall
over the long haul of the season Payton will get them playing better and I imagine they will be a good team in the second half of the season. -
a little bobby brown into the commercial... is that a dig at hill for beating women?

new england looks really bad tonight. this looks like what the pats used to do to everyone. new england looks old slow and stale. the jets and pats might end up being bad teams.

yes sharrif floyd.....dallas defensive quality control coach and former vikings player.

Big Boy football is fun to watch.

I hate everything about this. I am at the point where I am afraid to even see what is happening. It would be great if the team won sunday and then just quietly went about their business next week. Maybe even some of the players skip their media sessions even if there fined.. just have a drama free week and a game.

anyone seen this? Hopefully it will shift all the usual suspects who have been obsessed with talking about allen and diggs to these two also with each year it seems more and more like the nfl exists to keep all the cottage industries it birthed flush with content. Twitter film reviewers, Bloggers, fake insiders, Draft analysts, National and Local talk shows and also to simply sell products. NFL games seemingly keep becoming more and more an advertisement for products...mostly terrible food, beer and luxury vehicles. The games just seem secondary. https://x.com/_MLFootball/status/1702512367106498803?s=20

he didn't realize the eagles were getting into field goal range. he thought they were running out the clock and was shocked they took a timeout.

La’el Collins (RT) released off PUP
MikePJ76 replied to EmotionallyUnstable's topic in The Stadium Wall
He got cut in Dallas for being lazy. They put up with anything in Dallas so to get released because of your lack of attitude is a giant red flag. he was always a better guard than tackle to me. -
man I have only been here for a few months but wow. This place hates its quarterback. Its shocking to see fans talk about a great player like this. A lot of people here complain about espn and the media but they are absolutely no different. Always with a short term view obsessing over vague rumors and utter nonsense.

thats fine and a fair point. They need to get bigger and powerful when they have leads in the fourth quarter and cooks is not that guy. If the interior is going to get beat they need someone that can get through a tackle and fall forward. They signed two guys to do that and then in the most perfect game ever to shift to this philosophy, eat time and just go down and kick field goals to win....they didn't. That third and 2 last night was just inexcusable to throw the ball. That should have been a between the tackles run and if it is 4th and inches would just sneak it. Then keep running. some games you have to just keep being aggressive because the other team can score quick, mahomes, burrow, jackson, herbert etc...Not wilson and the jets. That game was a street fight in the second half and they should have played that way. the raiders are going to come in sunday and go big and run all day and then on defense they are going to drop 6 or 7 like the jets did and hope allen throws it in the middle of the field. this team needs to find a real running game and soon.

He isn't a lead back. He is a good player but not a lead back. The fourth quarter last night should have been all about the two bigger backs and the tight ends. Instead they are just going to run delayed draws out of the shotgun and hope cook can beat people to the edge. They are never going to get better if they don't change the running game and use it more.
