Great Move for the Giants. They get a talented player for cheap to pair with an excellent defensive coach and he is at the point in his career where it is time to play your best to guarantee a big future contract or just a contract in general. Should be a highly motivated player in a really good spot. I love everything the giants have done since Schoen and Daboll took over. They had a great interview with Schoen and brandon brown talking about how the numbers favor picking up defensive players at the cut deadline. It was something like 53% defensive signings workout and the offensive players do not.

I would take him for a 6 or 7 and then hope to move him for a 3 or 4 in a year or two if he plays well next year in the preseason. He is not worth any pick of real value

He seems like a player that would do well in Baltimore and Washington but I can't imagine they are interested with dobbins as robinson already set as starters.

I am reserving all judgement on the pass protection until the regular season and we see what it looks like after a gameplan. also can't wait to see them play 12 personnel and put the tight ends in motion and help on the edges when needed and in the running game. This team is going to be challenged every week this season up front except for the raiders and bucs games. Those 7 games vs the nfc and afc east are going to be difficult up front. I really hope they play a more physical brand of football when they get leads.

Yep, every team needs 1 or more tackles as depth. Most teams want versatile ones that can kick inside and hold their own to help with the gameday roster. If you want a backup tackle you are going to have to find a team that is willing to move one for a draft pick. I imagine the discussion depending on the player starts with a 5th rd pick.

my personal opinion is he just an ok head coach and an ok defensive coordinator. Not to beat a dead horse but after the chiefs loss in 21 had they fired him and hired daboll and allowed him to hire wink martindale and these were the guys in charge I would be feeling much better. Feels like McDermott has been given the power that the all time greats had, Parcells, Belichick, Holmgren, Johnson, Gibbs, Landry etc. IMO this is a mistake and undeserved.

I wonder if the front office would have any interest in Baltimore's Malik Harrison. He seems to be on the bubble. Not sure if he is just more of the same however.

They are going to need to be aggressive and use a draft pick for a swing tackle. They will never get one on waivers after teams make their cuts this week.
