NFL players union is weak because the players are in it for themselves . They have never had a strong union for this exact reason. they don’t have the stomach for the fight like Major League Baseball players did. i remember Joe Montana, Lawrence Taylor, Randy white etc…crossing the picket line in 82 and 87. You will never have a strong union if the stars who have been paid don’t care about the rest of the guys. most of the players see the world through the eyes of the owners. Pure individual greed.

I think he is going to be the MVP this year unfortunately. i hope he decides to retire and spend all his time watching the royals lose but I don’t think that’s going to happen.

I like it better when the bills are under rated in all of these time filling exercises. I loved last year so much because the bills spent the offseason being told all the stuff they couldn’t do. that kind of motivation always works with modern athletes.

He was on his school visit in March. I believe he was 17 and had graduated high school early. At least that is what I remember from the victims story. When she tried to bring charges against him she didn’t even know he was a football player and not even a student yet. The school squashed it and then she saw him on the football team in the fall and felt betrayed by the university.

I am trying to not get too involved in this thread but why on earth would the schools findings be of any concern. not a single one of these big athletic schools should ever be trusted on any of these matters. For decades schools have been intimidating witnesses, threatening victims, hiding evidence and colluding with local police and judges. go watch the Ohio state documentary on hbo and get back to me on how much the school cares about these types of issues.

Man looking at this another way, the Steelers have a good group of tight ends. The style they play and their personnel might be a very good match this year. it’s a shame the Steelers are not on hard knocks.

yea plus wasn't smith one of tua's top targets? Smith had 88 catches and 8 touchdown's last year. How do they replace that walking out the door? I wonder if hill gets moved also before camp.

How much money and high picks do the steelers have in invested in their defense? How many do they need to make the defense good? I like the defense first approach to a team but man the steelers take that to the next level. What does watt think of the steelers picking up a corner who makes that much money when he is in the middle of contract negotiations!

Most of these stadiums are not fully finished when they are opened. the cowboys stadium I remember specifically was not fully finished and they had a ribbon cutting ceremony, a concert then played the whole first season in the stadium while they finished the small details. i imagine it’s the same thing here

Sean Mcdermott lost to Jason Garrett's offfense two weeks in a row to blow the division and then a wild card game. He broke the cowboys playoff drought. Reid fired him a year later after his defense stunk in the playoffs again. Replaced him with an offensive coach at DC. That is what I think of when I think of mcdermott honestly. The Bills are good and he runs a good culture and locker room but I can't help that is what i think of. I am not sure he ever gets over the hump here but he isn't going anywhere so it's all a waste of time discussing it honestly.

Yes that is called winning in the playoffs. make mistakes, lose....force mistakes, win. The takeaways were not gifted they were earned. The strip of Andrews was not lamar gifting turnovers. The Bills were never chasing the game and the ravens seemingly were chasing it all night.

they were never better at any point than KC, Detroit or philly.
