playing from behind on the road is hard. When the defense gives up a bunch of huge highlight plays and backbreaking drives in the first half and you are losing doesn't mean they aren't the culprit when the offense, the qb doesn't save the day late in the game.

oh well. I am not torturing myself over this loss like the atlanta and miami games. its who the team is. Just started a rewatch of breaking bad so I am going to the crystall palace to watch jesse pinkman eat rice and beans.

give me a break. The defense vs atlanta in the first half was about as bad as a pro football team can play defense in this league.

Confident enough that their was no reason to take a risk. Do you think they would not have gone for and got the 4th and 2 in the 4th qtr if they needed to? They punted because they knew they had control of the game and could just pin the bills offense down inside the 20. They also had multiple drops from wide open wr'.

I think McGovern has been banged up since the KC game personally. He is getting up late a lot after plays. Hopefully this ten days off will help him.

the defense was practice squad and rookies. Tonight they had their core guys sans rapp, hill and hoecht. The defense can not be this bad missing three starters. It just can't. They got stops later in the game in part because Houston was fine with punting on a few of those 4th and short to midrange because they knew there defense had the game under control. If Houston needed to they could have been more aggressive later in the game, there was no reason to do that however.

they are prescription glasses. he talked about it a couple of times. his glasses are irrelevant. His inability to get players to run his defense effectively after all this time is the major issue with this team. The whole tone of the game is set every week by the defense's inability to stop the run, football 101. Evreything goes off that. unless the quarterback is superman and pulls miracles out of his hat every week which no one can do this team is in a tough spot because the defense can not do the basics.

They gave up a back breaking TD drive before the half, with a horrific TD play with 9 seconds left and no timeouts. that drive was a game changing situatilon. also the defense even when they got stops got pushed down the field and allowd the texans punter to pin them down giving the offense terrible field position all game. They allowed one of the leagues worst offenses, with the backup qb playing to dictate the rhythm of the game more or less and he was under no pressure except for a few plays on the first drive and the last two drives. That Td before the half is the kind of crap that gets u beat. make them kick a field goal and we are 8-3 right now.

Sean McDermott has not earned the right to keep firing coordinators. We have watched his defense blow it over and over year after year. He is in no position to fire the guy whose offense carried the team last year and has put up a ton of points this year in games his lousy defense can not get stops.

Yes. The terrible defense is maddening however. I just don't understand how they are so bad when its the same system and all veteran players except really two or three guys.

Pittsburgh and philadelphia can both do that. Cleveland has a one man wrecking crew and the defense is going to give us all kinds of problems.

there was nowhere to throw the ball...did u see the replays, they were bringing like 6 or 7 guys at times and taking away any lane allen had to run in because they could man up across the board and leave one safety. He barely had time when hitting his backfoot on his drop.

situational football matters. Go ask mister fundamentals the head coach. Situational football. You can not let them march right down the field after a kick return td and let them score and take all the momentum and the lead. Its a gut punch.
