  1. All I can think of when I see this is... "just give it to them"
  2. The NFL is an entertainment league. https://www.primerus.com/article/nfl-attempts-convince-supreme-court-its-teams-are-not-competitors-except-playing-field Do you yell at the outcomes of these events?
  3. I get it, I think blaming the refs is low hanging fruit...but I think Bills the fans deserve a 48-hour grace period given how much this one stings. Personally I don't think blown calls cost us the game, but I don't understand the 4th down spot. The reception I kinda get as the ball did not move, but I really hate how the linesman (for the 4th down spot) at the top just caved (given he likely had the clearer point of view).
  4. I know, I was fixing it for him 😛
  5. It seems with the amount of titillation you are getting from others pain, that your box of Kleenex might be spoken for.
  6. As an extension of this fantasy...I kept wondering if Allen and Mahones swap teams, what would be the result? Josh, might not want to swap back.
  7. Like this? Dude get through the anthem, pfft. Never seen a guy cry so much while winning. Imagine if he were a Buffalo Bill!
  8. Women and winning...are a powerful incentive.
  9. What makes zero sense to me is the fact that the league doesn't make anyone coming back from concussion protocol wear the helmet sock. Benford collided with Hamlin and you could see he had it, why the heck would Benford not wear one, seems so obvious and easy.
  10. Everyone is only thinking terms of age. While Josh has a great attitude, I gotta think another year or two of this and the attraction of LA (vis-à-vis) his fiancé will start to weigh in. My prediction, if Josh hits 30 and loses two more times to KC, he's going to start thinking about his legacy. In that scenario he could move to LA to be with his fiance/wife, and also move to the NFC with maybe an easier path to the SB. By then, having lost to KC 6 times in the playoffs, who could blame him...
  11. I told my 25 year old son to save himself while he could. He's only been a fan for about ten years and he still has a chance a normal life. I'm 40 years in as a fan...and a lost cause. Prior to last night he kept telling me I was so pessimistic (anticipating bad things before they happened on the field). After last night, he came over and was like "I can't take this SH** anymore, I've been watching them do this for 5 years!". I was like...five...whole years...really? My head was spinning with Wide right, music city miracle, Houston Wildcard, 13 seconds, KC...save yourself while you can my son...there is only pain to be had as a Bills fan.
  12. Why the heck would they open that can of worms, when they control to issue/narrative in private boardrooms. They have nothing to gain and little incentive. They are more profitable than ever and they can tweak rules at the competition committee in private in a way that benefits the NFLPA and their bottom line the most. The only thing I think they'll want to adjust are video replays that have bad optics and incite their fan base. They are not including us in that discussion, knowledge is power and corporate America likes a good ignorant (but committed) fan base.
  13. It's almost like the NFL is an entertainment company rather than a sports league, lol. Guess which team is getting the kick to the head this weekend?
  14. Let's just hope it's not - Three-peat of Destiny!
  15. Eric Bieniemy be like, da**, Liam Coen...really?
  16. I was so worried about this too! They've really chilled with the unsportsmanlike penalties they were letting fly a few years ago. It doesn't hurt that its now the playoffs, we all saw his step over against Denver, thought he could of got one on some of his catches as well...
  17. I disagree vehemently. Beane has done a masterful job. Switching from Morse to McGovern was brilliant. Transitioning centers can be a huge destabilizer and Beane had the foresight to bring in a guard the year before anticipating this legacy move. All this to say, the Bills O line is premium. Every time I hear the Bills roster is "lacking", I realize how much of a bias exists is assessing rosters. People focus so much on skill positions, I'd say overall this is one of the best retooling years I've ever seen. Hell, we were supposed to lose the division to the Jets! Beane deserves his due!
  18. I know this was sarcasm, but still, it somehow hurt my soul to read...
  19. Have you seen our Defense when he isn't playing! Taron is a critical piece to this Defense, I am praying he is ok for next week.
  20. Alec Anderson. Dude comes out on fire and is always head hunting out there.
  21. Win: "The Bills have earned the right to slay their Chief Demon" Lose: "Same old Bills, always the bridesmaid, never the bride." Queue the Philip Rivers career comp's for Allen.
  22. Unfortunately I think it will come down to how healthy we stay. I would argue: "Injuries don't count, every team has their unequal problems there." If anything the last few weeks (as well as last year's playoffs) has shown us that our D needs to remain healthy for us to be serious contenders (2023 was a write off because of injuries to our D). Yes, all teams deal with injuries at this time of year, but not in equal measure. If we get guys back on Defense and they stay healthy, I would say, 33%.
  23. "Look at how they run the quarterback sneak. The Bills are behind only the Eagles in efficiency on that play. Yes, it helps to have a strong, athletic quarterback who, if he weren’t the ball carrier, is big enough to be one of the pushers. Watch instead how the interior linemen always get the push needed for the first down. That’s not easy to do, but the Bills have developed that skill." I've got a lot of love for Mitch Morse and how he stabilized josh with his mature leadership while he was here but I feel like QB sneaks on short yardage improved mightily with the move to McGovern. Morse was getting blown up and a lot of those successful QB sneaks were Josh getting it on the second effort. Glad to see this year us actually get "the push needed for the first down."
  24. Every year I look at our record.. then to our Pro-Bowlers...then back to our record...and scratch my head. We are a great team, with few superstars with big names. The only two I think are a lock are Josh Allen and Taron Johnson... the rest are just not big enough names. James cook might be close but there are so many RB's lighting it up this year (starting with King Henry).
