  1. I absolutely do. Look at their roster. Their receiver room is full of castoff jag’s. With Reid’s playbook and Mahomes decision making Davis would look good for sure. Yes you’re right. Part of the blame, maybe a large part, is Dorsey. But the qb has to take some of the blame. Allen is great but he still has a lot to learn. Too many people give him passes when he messes up.
  2. I agree with you about Allen. That’s why I’m not too concerned about Davis needing to be a 1K+ yard #2 for the Bills to win. Allen is not Burrow where the latter needs 2 elite WRs to thrive. Allen is more of a playmaker like Mahomes. They only need 1 true guy and a bunch of complimentary parts. The thing that separate the two now is Allen’s decision making about where to distribute the ball. Defenses will continue to play that 2 high safety shell until he learns how to be patient and check down to move the chains. Let’s hope that learning curve is sooner rather than later.
  3. MVS was considered a #2 with the dropsies and somehow he thrived with KC. When virtually all their receivers went down during the AFC championship game he stepped up. There’s no way MVS is better than Davis. Completely agree that our guys outside of Diggs need to improve.
  4. People who didn’t know weren’t sure. 😂
  5. Unfortunately this will be the narrative until Allen breaks through. The good news is he’s young and there are plenty of time left for a change to more creative coaching.
  6. Yeah and I guess Diggs is a scrub. That best offensive player caller didn’t win until the last few years. Coaches scheme. Players execute. He found 1 helluva guy to execute his plays. For all those Allen attributes you’re touting I wish he sprinkle in some elite decision making. Stop being such a jitterbug under pressure and maybe the turnovers would come down. Right now Mahomes and Burrow are the ones exhibiting that calm trait under pressure. Hopefully Allen can get there. If he can’t Bills won win a championship no matter how much our collective homer minds wish it to be.
  7. Put Gabe on KC and he’d be their WR1. So can’t we the Bills win with him? Why are there people on here that wants to get rid of him?
  8. If you’re the best QB you’d need to make no name guys shine. Just saying… Yeah they just won a superbowl with a ‘muderers’ row of receivers’. Maybe that’s what great qb’s do. Elevate the guys around them. Brown was also a RT that transitioned to LT with the Chiefs. I think it’s safe to say Reid/Veach can identify and develop lineman. Make no mistake. KC will be a top contender again next year.
  9. They changed coach in the middle of all that. Dungy came on starting the 02-03 season. What finally got them over the hump was Peyton Manning matured and started playing better when he faced BB’s defense. When he finally slayed that dragon they won the superbowl. It was also the 5th year of the Dungy/Peyton era. Throughout NFL history no coach/qb combo has ever won their 1st superbowl outside of this 5 year window. This past season was McD/Allen’s 5th season together. Maybe that’s the parallel you can glean from that Colts team. 😂
  10. I believe we are in agreement here. 👍
  11. Such a goofy argument. Surely putting our guy on their team would yield the same results. Sure it will. Recognizing Mahomes is the best right now is not a slight to Josh. There are things he does that Josh hasn’t shown to do consistently. Adding more weapons on this team won’t guarantee a championship unless Josh takes the next steps in development. He regressed this past season with his decision making if you’re judging him objectively.
  12. Josh is a great qb. Top 3 in the league. But he has some work to do to catch up to Mahomes. Andy Reid was considered a good coach that could never win it all until he got Mahomes. Gotta give that guy his due as much as it hurts to admit.
  13. See that’s where I don’t see how ‘we’re good enough to beat them now’ because of regular season results. They’ve beaten us when it mattered most and they will continue to be a big roadblock in the playoffs until proven otherwise. And now Cincy might be another obstacle as well. But I hope you are right with regards to the Chiefs.
  14. Well you keep bringing up the fact we beat them in meaningless regular season games like they’re big accomplishments.
  15. Why do we continually celebrate regular season wins? We’re 2-2 against KC in the last 4 meetings with the two wins coming during the regular season and the two losses during the playoffs. Are you that confident the next time we meet them in the playoffs with this roster? Just because we beat them in the regular season? They’ve proven they can win it all when it matters most whereas we have yet to prove that.
