National media are starting to grind their collective axes
90sBills replied to Thunderstruck's topic in The Stadium Wall
You’re not wrong. I don’t buy the notion that some people think the Bills can get in the playoffs and beat anybody. They obviously can’t beat Cincy. They’re not even competitive games. Never even led in any of the matchups. -

Got embarrassed by Cincy in the playoffs. And up to this point in the season the media’s preseason pessimism has been justified. -
Week 10, Broncos v. Bills - Predict the Score

Bills 27 Broncos 13 You can be pessimistic the week after. No chance Denver wins on the road in Buffalo. -
Bills vs Broncos-Monday Night Football

Bills win by double digits. -
At this point of the game it was only Bills’ 3rd possession. Way too early for the game to be almost over if that’s what Allen was really thinking. His tendency is always to take the deep shot. On a first down like this play he’s going to do that when the opportunity presents itself. There’s no problem with this decision. The mistake was the very next play that you eluded to. Those mistakes are game killers. Allen should be a savvy veteran at this point and not get baited like a rookie qb on that play. That was disappointing.

Are people really that unhappy with our 4-2 Bills?

Like last year? Not sure he’s wrong. ‘Legit’ is very subjective. -
Houston and Buffalo Offenses Versus Tampa Bay

While I wholeheartedly agree with this, there are fans on this site that use this notion all the time when it favors the Bills. Let’s see how Houston does against Cincy this Sunday. -
The Bills are done, stick a fork in them

I think most fans reading this thread know that trading away Allen is crazy. That’s just frustration talking from the op and I get that. There are problems with this team, including its qb. But you’re not trading away a franchise qb just because a championship hasn’t been accomplished. You continue to build around him and hope for the best. -
Letting Josh coach himself was the incorrect decision

I noticed that too. Obviously every defense's in the league has picked up on that as well. He needs to switch things up. -
Building opinion that Josh is not committed to the Bills/football?
90sBills replied to UKBillFan's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yeah. That interception where a defender baited him didn’t result into points so he’s cool. Played great. -
Letting Josh coach himself was the incorrect decision

Lately I feel like Allen doesn’t see the field as well as Mahomes does when scrambling. Mahomes times his scrambles so well to maximize gains while avoiding contacts as much as possible. I’ve always thought Allen could do the same since he’s a better runner than Mahomes. But Allen seems to always scramble towards traffic for some reason. -
If Josh went on IR do the Bills win a game?
90sBills replied to 78thealltimegreat's topic in The Stadium Wall
It’s a ridiculous scenario to point out how great Allen is and people shouldn’t criticize him after losses. -

Allen also picked him because Dorsey is his buddy and wouldn’t hold him to account. Allen is not a self starter type of personality. He needs to be pushed. Dorsey isn’t going to do that. Allen has all the physical gifts for the position but is severely lacking with the mental aspects of it. He needs someone that can help with that and Dorsey isn’t it. -
Dedication to be the best has to be a top criteria. That would require relentless pursuit of that whether it’s extra film study to look for opponents’ weaknesses or offseason training with and without teammates to get better. Always working on improving their own weaknesses to elevate their game.

He was focused on being low positive energy or some bs like that.

The Bills are done, stick a fork in them

Every? I can think of two coaches that would never ever switch qb’s with the Bills. -
There’s nothing embarrassing about being realistic.
-
That’s because they don’t. I haven’t met a KC fan that hates Allen. They hate the media for anointing Allen to Mahomes level a few years ago. That has cooled down in the media so I don’t think many KC fans have any animosity towards Allen. Burrow, on the other hand, is enemy #1.
-
Except that’s not how fans think. Especially with the given recent history between the two teams.
-
This could get ugly.
-
Why wouldn’t they. In their pov them and the Chiefs are on a different level destined to meet in the AFCCG again. The Bills are just a mere speed bump on their way to their destination. It’s not like the Bills have done anything to make them feel otherwise. That’s why I think this game is more important for the Bills than the Bengals. Get beat again and it becomes psychological with the team.
