What separates the Chiefs from every other team…

There were 10 secs left. If you look at the replay the safety was looking at Rice before Mahomes threw the ball to Kelce. He didn’t want to risk a throw to the middle where Rice might get strip like Flowers did in the Championship game or Hardman in against the Bills. That was a prudent play to protect the fg and play on. That kind of awareness is what I hope Allen would be better at. -

Going 8 for 8 plus a couple of scrambles on a must have it drive to win the Superbowl is not ‘did very little’ to me. It’s actually clutch. If Allen was able to do that on the Bills’ must have it drive in the divisional it might have been them in the big game. -
Allen won’t bring a championship to Buffalo.
-
Not sure how you missed that last gotta have it drive where Mahomes went 8-8 with a couple of clutch runs that kept that drive alive. Or did you tuned in late and thought they started that winning drive in the redzone like college OT?

Chiefs are just better than the Bills

Mahomes has beaten Allen 4 times. I’m sure the Chiefs are better given all the results of the last 5 years. -
I said this exact thing after the SB last year. No doubt in my mind Bills will be in the same spot after next year’s SB.

The margin between most NFL teams are very slim that 2-3 plays are all it takes. It’s not like college ball with Alabama vs Wyoming. Those 2-3 plays over the Bills, Ravens, SF have propelled KC to another championship. If it makes you feel better to think that the Bills are the better team because they hung tough with KC and could’ve won all those playoff matches go for it. But the bottom line will still be 3 rings to 0 superbowl appearances. Saying Bills are better until you’re blue in the face won’t change that reality. -

0-3 against KC when it mattered says Bills are not better regardless of how your heart wants it to be. -
Its Pretty Obvious why the Chiefs win every year

Eagle’s scored 35 last Superbowl. -
The conversation would definitely change if that were to happen. But in this current reality the conversation is what it is. Hypotheticals. All we have are hypotheticals as we hate watch Mahomes win Superbowls. 🤦🏻♂️

This is a tough concept for some to comprehend. Reading through the comments you’d think Chris Jones was the one running to keep that last drive alive and threw the winning TD.
-
This is what I keep posting Allen needs to improve on. A lot of people here keeps going on and on about him being as good if not better than Mahomes when it’s so clear that he’s behind in this area. This is what wins championships when you’re talented like Mahomes and Allen are.

My own eyes just saw Mahomes led his team on a Superbowl winning drive…again.

Allen, the Super Bowl "window," and the KC hurdle
90sBills replied to T.E.'s topic in The Stadium Wall
I don’t think it’s a roster issue between the two teams. The main difference for me is KC has acquired that winning culture when it counts while the Bills are still learning to do it against great teams. This goes for the coaching staff down to all the players. -
Off-Season Hot Take: Mid Season Struggles And The #1 Seed

Most people would call this ‘battle tested’. -
I’m going the other way myself. Seems like the 49ers are destined to win this season. It’s crazy that KC made it as far as they did this year with what they have. It’ll be even harder to knock them off next season as they will undoubtedly be better.

I love football so I’ll be watching. My prediction is this will be the most watched Superbowl ever.

Allen, the Super Bowl "window," and the KC hurdle
90sBills replied to T.E.'s topic in The Stadium Wall
We keep saying this but when it matters the Bills can’t. Of all the seasons to beat KC this was it. They were vulnerable. Home game for the Bills. If they can’t get it done under those circumstances it’s hard to think they can do it. The window is still open as long as Allen is here. But to get the job done will not be easy. Cincy will still be there as well. -
Couldn’t agree more with this point.
-
Lamar definitely has pedestrian stats for MVP this year certainly. I’m just surprised that so many of you are up in arms about Allen not getting it. He seems fine about it as he should. His goals are to get past KC and Cincy in the playoffs. Not some meaningless regular season award.
-
The media has been riding the Bills and Allen since the 13 sec game. They’ve been rewarded with disappointment after disappointment.
-
Don’t you think that’s a BIG difference regardless of similarity in regular season stats? Playoffs is where it’s at and Mahomes separates himself from everyone else including Allen. Great players rises in the biggest moments. This is something Allen needs to work on imo. That he’s carried by Reid and Kelce.
-
Objective does not exclusively mean hardware. So ‘no’ to your examples. Whereas Mahomes has the hardware and consistency throughout his career. As great as Allen is he’s still inconsistent. Recognizing that is being objective.
-
And 3 rings ahead of Allen/Burrow/Lamar combined. All irrelevant facts. What’s your point?
