Turnovers gave Mia short field opportunities that got them back in it. But I agree with you that Bills defense usually don’t show up in the playoffs. Hopefully things will be different going forward with new casts.

Mia didn’t do anything in that game until Allen started turning the ball over taking unnecessary risks. Defense was shutting them down. That game should have been coasting to a win after the big lead early. That’s one of the differences between them two as QBs. Mahomes don’t make those mistakes in the playoffs. KC got up on Balt early and Mahomes cruised control it to the end. Didn’t forced unnecessary throws and let the defense worked.

This is an exercise in futility that only Bills fans do. Allen is a great qb and is already getting as much credit as he should from the media and general NFL fans. Anything more will require winning superbowls. Stop trying to put the cart before the horse.

In addition to the two you mentioned Mahomes is also calmer under pressure than Allen. These are glaringly obvious when you watch them play but somehow most Bills fans refuse to see it. These are traits that have nothing to do with organizations.

Cincy hasn’t done that much better than the Bills against KC. They managed to go 1-1 against them in the playoffs. So that’s 1 more than Bills. They beat KC twice in the regular season at Cincy. Bills have beaten KC 3 times in the regular season at KC, including a blowout. I’d take the Bills performance over Cincy’s. For all the manhandling Cincy is supposedly doing against KC they sure haven’t had much to show for it.

This is the definition of hometown discount. Doesn’t seem like Chris Jones is willing to do the same. I think Jones is signing somewhere else. Maybe Houston.

During the season you’d get more in depth discussions about different teams. The offseason is meant to give flowers to whoever won the superbowl. So if Bills are ever to win one I suspect many of us will tune in to the national shows the day after the superbowl until the start of the following season.

No that’s just reality. You can’t just announce you’re building a team that people have to chase. That kind of reputation is earned through championships. So far the Bills have been chasers. That’s just facts you don’t want to see. Positive thinking isn’t going to change that fact.

Well since KC has beaten every team that the Bills have trotted out there in the playoffs I’d say the issue really is trying to build a team to beat the Chiefs.

KC is back to back champs. Of course any NFL talk during the offseason will pivot to them. That’s the spoils of winning Superbowls.

Based on their history winning the superbowl is a goal not an expectation.
