  1. Guarantee if he’s good enough he’d do it in a heartbeat. Much longer career and higher earning potential with significantly less damage to the body.
  2. Sometimes you have to take a step back to go further.
  3. With all the injuries on defense this past game against KC they did as best they could. In the end the offense had the ball last with a chance to win. That’s really all you can hope for against a great team. What you said about beating opponents multiple ways is as true for the Patriots then as it is for KC now. With great teams like them you just want a chance at the end with the ball. Trying to hold them with your defense while their QBs have the ball last will fail more often than not.
  4. What’s the point of holding a team to 17 when you can’t score 18? Is there some kind of consolation prize for that? Like I said…Patriots won a lot of close playoffs games on their way to those 6 rings. They knew how to win close games but juggernaut they were not.
  5. Cincy is 1-1 against KC and Balt is 0-1 in the playoffs so it’s not like they’re doing a lot better. If you’re talking about regular season wins then the Bills have ‘contained’ KC just as well if not better. Most of those Patriots Super Bowl teams during their run won a lot of close playoffs games. I’m not sure which juggernaut Patriots team you’re referring to. Ironically their most dominant team didn’t win a Super Bowl.
  6. This part hurt more than the missed fg tbh.
  7. Joking right? He’s one of the best.
  8. Of all the guys McD brought from Carolina he couldn’t have brought Harrison Butker?
  9. Veach seems more concerned about this than you are. They’re looking at Zay Jones today. Might have to sign him to do what Rice does on the field.
  10. Short answer would be NO. But this team has higher potential with sustainability.
  11. 100%. Devil in the details. 12 men on the field against Denver to further your point. Just to put a positive spin Reid was similar for years in high pressured situations. He has turned that narrative completely around so maybe there’s hope McD can learn from past mistakes.
  12. Not at all. Allen was phenomenal. But that’s one out the 5 times we’ve been eliminated. I still remember the look on his face after KC tied it up. Total disbelief. That’s why this last playoffs loss hurt extra. It could’ve been a redemption game. The narrative would’ve changed completely with regards to KC. Had them on the ropes. Just couldn’t finish. Oh well maybe next year.
  13. This is just it. You can manipulate any stats you want to show a particular guy is good or bad. The ultimate stat for a qb is playoffs wins and championships. Not much stock can be put on a stat list that has Lamar that high up above Mahomes and Brady. Eyes don’t lie.
  14. If he’s first overall with the ball last in the playoffs we’d win a championship by now.
  15. I didn’t say Allen isn’t clutch. I was responding to the ‘no one could get open’ part.
  16. 2 guys were wide open on the next to last play. Hit the right guy and winning was almost assured. Maybe if it was a regular season game like this list of clutch drives it would’ve been different.
  17. The year before we would’ve won the superbowl if Cincy didn’t kicked our ass. The year before that we definitely would’ve won the superbowl if KC didn’t score with 13 seconds. And yet again the season before that we would’ve won the superbowl if KC didn’t blow us out. Could’ve had 4 championships by now. There seems to be a pattern here.
  18. He’s on bail awaiting trial. He hasn’t been convicted of anything. You might be thinking of parole.
  19. Not only there but higher than Mahomes and Brady. Really shines a different light on this list.
  20. They probably agree. That’s why they signed Hollywood Brown and drafted another TE.
  21. Without knowing any information I’m going to say we won’t like it.
