My opinion is KC missing their secondary leader in Mathieu led to alot of coverage miscommunications that resulted in Gabe looking like a hof wr in that game. A performance he was never able to duplicate during his time here. Despite those injuries KC was able to overcome and won that game. Much like Cincy overcoming their OL injuries and beat us in their playoff game here. On the flip side, it’s apparently impossible for us to win any big playoff games because of injuries according to posters. That was my point.

KC secondary was missing a few starters but no one wants to hear that. Anyway it’s been 3 seasons and several heartaches ago let’s forget that game.

Yeah but he’s only 13 rushing TD’s away from breaking Bills’ record for rushing TD’s and be the best RB in team history. Let’s bulldoze more LB’s this season!

I don’t think it’s a non issue. But having another speedster on the other side is going to help Worthy to get off the line. Also Reid’s play calling will be significant for his success.

Of course anyone is free to feel anyway they want. The team that we beat ‘under their sun’ as you put it has also beaten us under ‘our sun’ to send us home for the season. Our victories over them were meaningless speed bumps on their way to championships. Fretting over a Cincy team that we have only faced ONCE in the playoffs while discounting a KC team that we’ve faced THREE times in the playoffs without winning once seems misplaced. But, like you said, we’re free to be concerned with whomever we want. I’ll be concerned about Cincy if and when we ever meet them in the playoffs again.

We. Haven’t. Beaten. Mahomes. In. The. Playoffs. Historical perspective is irrelevant to this current situation. We’ve met Cincy once while meeting KC 3 times in the playoffs. KC will be there more often than Cincy will. So you go ahead and worry about a Bengals team that may or may not be there most year, especially given Burrow’s health. Most Bills fans will be focusing on the team that keeps blocking us in the playoffs and that’s KC hands down.

There’s a difference between the company you keep and the family you’re born into. Can’t very well get rid of family. Well some might but generally speaking you’re kinda stuck with them.

And Claypool is killing it in OTA’s. This might turn out to be the best WR room in the league.

That is the narrative with him among media types. He’s not patient enough for a grind it out game plan. Defenses often sit back and wait for the inevitable mistake. Unfortunately he fed into that narrative with how that game ended. Let’s hope he learns from that.

We haven’t beaten KC when it mattered either. And unlike Cincy, KC actually wins championships. So they’re the biggest roadblock.

I thought Mahomes worst record is against Cincy. 1-3. I completely agree with the second part of your post.

It’s the NFL. Anybody can beat anybody on any given Sunday. However, the NFL is also a zero sum game so objectively KC is better because of their results. 3 titles in 4 trips vs 0 titles and 0 trips says a lot.

The handful of years before Reid got there KC was in bad shape. They weren’t making the playoffs every year like they are now. Reid turned that around then with Mahomes they went to another level.

Btw I wouldn’t mind getting pushed around by the Bangles. Especially Susana Hoffs.

This is the exact point everyone is making with you. Andy Reid was not considered elite until he had Mahomes. McD has Allen, who’s comparable to Mahomes, why hasn’t he won? I think you’re on board with everyone you just don’t realize it yet.

McNabb was a good qb. But not a Mahomes or Allen. McD has Allen. That’s the point.
