  1. You don’t think he saw the holding as he was looking directly at it? Yeah that’s my interpretation. You also have your interpretation, not the correct interpretation imo.
  2. I remember watching that Super Bowl and it was obvious they were trying to get the 1st down with that play. Juju went in then cut back out to get separation for the first. Bradbury was beaten by the move and grabbed JuJu’s jersey. Mahomes saw that and threw the ball in that direction to draw attention to the infraction. I remember him jumping up after get hit and pointing to that area then the flag came out. So no Mahomes didn’t make a mistake. He was instrumental in leading his team to exhaust all the time on the clock for a chip shot winning fg.
  3. Bolded is completely uncalled for and misguided. I do think different opinions is what make sports discussions fun. Hopefully Bills can win next time so we’d all be on the same page.
  4. I disagree that elite QBs don’t think that way. Shakir was not the only open receiver on that play. If he was I might understand the decision. But Diggs was wide open shallow on a much easier pass to drain more clock. That would’ve had a higher chance of securing a win and elite QBs definitely think about the best ways to get their teams wins.
  5. I heard that he was able to get there on time. But after the session everyone beat him to the locker room and was done showering by the time he got there…including the OL.
  6. Can’t speak for all but for me the decision to make that throw was what I criticized. KC had two timeouts left with 1:40 if that throw connected. Given Mahomes’ playoffs history and how our defense was playing in that game there’s very little chance we could’ve stopped them if that pass connected for a TD. I was really impressed with Allen’s game up to the 2-min warning. He showed a lot of patience and I really thought we were going score a walk off TD to win the game with hardly any time left and no TO’s for KC. One more 1st would’ve probably did it. But instead we went for the kill shot and got killed. It was disappointing. Look how SF played KC in the Super Bowl. Their last drive in regulation they were methodically moving down the field. No big homerun shots. It took a great defensive play by KC to stop them. SF didn’t succeed but they made it a lot tougher for KC. That’s the formula for beating the Chiefs in the playoffs.
  7. You’re going to get flame for this but you are absolutely correct! Those are legacy defining plays if he makes them. Unfortunately his legacy currently is not getting past KC and Cincy in the playoffs. There was a lot of room to the right for Allen to step up and make a clean throw. Brady wasn’t the most athletically gifted qb but his pocket awareness was second to none. Mahomes is not quite as adept as Brady was but he is still very good at knowing where pressure is coming from so he could change arm angle to complete a pass successfully. This is an area Allen could improve upon imo.
  8. Too bad Cincy couldn’t cash in a championship with that gift. Good luck getting out of that division this season with Balt and Clev being better.
  9. But what if you have many friends of the race you insulted? Surely that must counterbalance the insults.
  10. No wings for the little brat!
  11. Good thing we drafted Coleman.
  12. He will quietly surprise people.
  13. Best team record in the conference? Lamar’s parents must be professors at Hogwarts.
  14. Yeah that’s where I’m at too. We’ll be competitive and most likely win the division again this season but will bow out in the playoffs. ‘25 is when I think it will all come together for a serious run. The over season’s totals has been good for me. Almost like stealing the last few years. Put 1K on that and it’s virtual locked.
  15. Why stop at mvp. +1300 for winning the superbowl.
  16. Be a Bill. If the situation is reversed there would be KC fans with the same kind of takes.
  17. I was going along with your joke bud. As I highly doubt you really thought Purdy and Lamar were 1 and 2 last year.
  18. Exactly. For the regular season. That’s why Mahomes is the best playoffs qb. Now you’re getting it! Good for you.
  19. That might not be football to you. It’s been football my entire life. That’s how records are kept for quarterbacks like it or not.
  20. He played more games because he won those head to head matchups to advance. Fair or not win loss is a qb stat. 15-3 in the playoffs to start a career is ridiculous no matter how you slice it. It’s a team game true. But when certain teams get the ball last to close out games fans players announcers focus on who’s the qb for those teams and how has he done in those situations. Because those are defining moments for QBs.
  21. Winners get the spoils unfortunately. Coaching is part of it of course. Football is the ultimate team game. But individual stats are maintained and excellent achievements in those are praised. Before Brady rolled through the NFL everyone’s consensus best qb in NFL history was Joe Montana. Nobody said it’s because he had Bill Walsh, an offensive genius, as a head coach.
  22. Lamar won because his team had the #1 seed. If Bills can lock up the #1 one year Allen would win it for sure. Lamar is the classic dual threat qb. Those guys don’t win Super Bowls. Allen has an opportunity to evolve his game the way Steve Young or Elway did. Use the run sparingly to supplement the passing game. It’s not a coincidence that Allen’s best passing year in 2020 he had the fewest rushing yards. If he can pace his running during the regular season then go off in the playoffs him and the team could be so much more effective.
  23. This gives such clarity to their playoffs performances. It would be tough for the diehard of fans to say Allen has been better in the playoffs.
  24. None that I can think of. Cam Newton made it to a Super Bowl. Steve Young was probably the closest. His game got better when he focused more on passing and ran less. I don’t see Allen as a dual threat qb like Hurts or Lamar. That’s why I think his game would be much better if he limits his running. But most of the fanbase want him to continue trucking LB’s. It’s bizarre to want that for your franchise quarterback.
  25. That first MVS catch along the sideline was pretty spectacular regardless of who caught it.
