And they got a TE with our pick that could be the heir apparent to Kelce. -

Definitely. That’s the big question for guys his size. It’s a physical game. -
Xavier Worthy injured during 1st practice as a Chief

Honestly, Worthy does not look 5’11 to me. He looks 5’10 on tippy toes. I’ve heard in an interview during the combine that he intentionally lost 10lbs to get a faster time. That combine pic you posted is a really scrawny kid. Let’s see how he does in games. We’re not even in preseason games yet so I’ll reserve judgment on him as well as Coleman and other rookies. -
Xavier Worthy injured during 1st practice as a Chief

He’s listed as 5’8 165 so not sure how much thicker that is. Regardless most comments in this thread already determined he’s a bust based on that one play. -
Xavier Worthy injured during 1st practice as a Chief

For sure. I got a chuckle out of it. Worthy seems to be a better fit for KC than here imo. They have their middle of the field guys in Kelce and Rice. Worthy and Brown would open up that middle of field for them. -

Tank Dell has a slightly smaller frame than Worthy and did great last year as a rookie. Not saying Worthy will light it up but it’s too early to make any presumptions. Every receiver has a bad highlight especially as a rookie in their first training camp. -
I think he was #39 or some ridiculously low ranking like that.

And if he doesn’t and they don’t would those criticisms of him and the team be justified?

Tyreek Hill against Snead in last year’s playoffs game says hi. -
Let me introduce you to Mr. Inflation. He’s a jerk.
-
Also indicative of how opponents play defense against them. Making Mahomes be patient to dink and dunk down the field. He has obviously shown the ability to do that the last couple of years. It’ll be interesting how defenses will play them this coming season especially with the outside speed they have now.

Toney lined up Offside. -
Ok I thought you meant rings and not chances at them. Like most people, including Dan Orlovsky, have said. Let’s go with to your ‘chance at rings’. The 13 sec game and last year’s game were in the divisional. A few plays could’ve definitely led us to victory to advance…wait for it…to the AFCCG. No Super Bowls are given in those games as far as I know. Now if your position is we’d advanced and still had hope to win it all therefore ‘a chance at rings’ would be still be applicable then I agree. But then if that’s the case then every year in the playoffs would be ‘a chance at rings’. It would not require a few plays to make it true because we’ve been in the tournament. My point was we’ve not been close enough to the Super Bowl for any statement of a few plays away from rings. I don’t think that’s an invalid take. Anyway it doesn’t matter. Hopefully we’ll be in a real situation to play for a ring this season!
-
I hear this bolded part a lot and it doesn’t make sense to me. We’ve been to the AFCCG once and got blown out. We’ve lost in three straight divisional rounds. We haven’t even been in position to play for rings with Allen. Of all fanbases ours should know that even playing in multiple Super Bowls does not guarantee rings. So how is it that Allen is 3 or 4 plays from rings?
-
I binged the whole thing. Felt bad for Detroit in the playoffs. Then felt equally bad for the Niners in the Super Bowl. It seemed inevitable and hopeless for the players on the sideline when Mahomes had the ball in overtime. I came away very impressed with Amon Ra St. Brown. Being fluent in 3 different languages is extraordinary.

New Pardon My Take with Josh Allen and Blake Griffin

Why does Blake Griffin look so much like Nick Bosa in this? -
Is Josh Allen already the best dual-threat QB ever?
90sBills replied to transplantbillsfan's topic in The Stadium Wall
I agree completely about players from different time periods having different games. At the end of the day they play with the rules that are presented to them. So yes Allen will be considered the best dual threat qb when it’s all said and done. I followed Elway’s career since he was at Stanford. Yes he was a great athlete. But he never threatened defenses with his runs. I consider guys like Elway, Young, Tarkington, even Farve as scrambling QBs not true dual threat QBs. Could they have been in this era? Maybe. Or they could more likely be similar to Mahomes. A scrambling qb from this current era with modern rules. -

A qb can’t be considered dual threat rushing for 500 once in a 15 year career span. How can he be dual threat without rushing for at least 500 yards in a season once in 16 years? Allen is a true dual threat qb and is the best in NFL history at this point. -
How close is Allen to Mahomes if all things were equal?
90sBills replied to Alphadawg7's topic in The Stadium Wall
It’s ‘stupider’ only under your assumption that they were trying to score a TD there. You know what they say about assumptions. Like I said go watch the NFL mic’s up version. KC didn’t want to give the ball back with time. Philly knew if they had any time left when they get the ball back they’d win. Both teams were operating under those objectives. If you can’t see that it’s on you. You seem to think the way you see things is the ‘correct’ way. Even when the game turned out exactly like I said after the 1st down was attained. -

Yes I’m for real. Juju was faking inside then ran back out. Bradbury’s hold redirected him. Mahomes threw it so far over his head there was no way he could’ve caught it. That throw was a throwaway to draw attention to the infraction. If the hold didn’t happen Mahomes would’ve hit him for the first and Juju would’ve went down. The Super Bowl mic’d up version had the audio of what KC wanted to do. Which was get close and run out the clock. What’s bizarre is you thinking that’s not a plausible plan. You’re a knowledgeable fan. You should know the score was tied at the time. Their best chance of winning was to run out the time and kick a winning fg. Which was what they did. Their defense just gave up a long TD drive. They didn’t want the Eagles to get another chance at it. Now back to the issue with our last game. I know you disagree with my view on the shot to Shakir. You could’ve used a different example than this one with Mahomes. They were operating from a position of leverage in a tied ballgame. We didn’t have that leverage being down a fg. That angle of argument would make more sense. Anyway everyone has an opinion and they don’t always have to match. I can’t wait until the season starts so we could have something new to talk about. This subject is getting stale. This is funny and true. I chuckled out loud. Touche. -

Agree to disagree. Juju was the first read. It was designed to get to the sticks. Bradbury had a handful of jersey so that is a holding call 100% of the time. Mahomes saw it and pointed to it almost immediately as he was getting to his feet. Even when that’s the case there are people, like you acknowledged, that still think it’s not a penalty. It goes to show how different people can interpret different things while looking at the same situation. I know if that was a Bills receiver that got grabbed by the jersey like that I’d be pissed if the flag is not thrown. -

Holy cow man. That’s a lot of whining. Mahomes is universally acknowledged as the best qb in the NFL right now. Whatever you’re doing with these posts is not changing anyone’s mind that don’t already agree with that. It’s actually having the opposite effect on me.
