If memory serves Mahomes had the worst or thereabouts defense statistically his first year starting. He carried that team to the AFC Championship Game and lost to the Pats. Great QBs like Mahomes can overcome bad defenses. Likewise with Allen. I believe Allen can and will overcome any defensive deficiencies one day. It might be this postseason.

Should Bills Mafia invite Jason Kelce to the week 11 game

That entitled little prick deserved it. He probably thought he was online and could say anything to strangers without repercussions. -
He was doing his part to help beat Mia.

Bills scoring 38.3 points at home this year, best in the league.

I was half joking. As the last few playoffs have proven…seeding is overrated. Bills played them in KC and lost. KC and Cincy played at OP and we still lost. KC went on the road as the #3 seed and won it all last year. Why was that possible? They got hot at the end of the season. My point was regular season wins means very little against KC. Just win the division, which is locked at this point. Continue to improve and stay healthy for the playoffs. #3 seed is the worst we’d be and that’s fine. If the Bills win in a couple of weeks it’d be nice but ultimately won’t change anything. Likewise if it’s a loss. -

Chances are we’d play both. -
Probably because the tough part of their schedule is over. Some media folks and fans were predicting they’d start 0-2.
-
Yup. With this scenario it’d be Den then Balt. I’d be more confident if Cincy doesn’t somehow sneak in over Denver. That team has the Bills number for some reason.

Giving recent history Bills beating KC in the regular season means the opposite. -
I agree with you. It’s not college football where the talent disparity is so large the best team just blows everyone out. The margins are so slim in the NFL. Despite injuries to key contributors KC still plugs along undefeated is impressive me.
-
There’s a strong case for it even at the midway point of the season. The four division winners are crystallized to me. Pitt might put a wrench in that but I doubt it. So that leaves the three wildcard teams. Pitt and LAC looks to be there. Den might falter and Cincy could replace them. The AFC is so weak this year that you can tell very early who would be there.
-
I see it working out this way… KC #1 Bills #2 Balt #3 Hou #4 Pitt #5 LAC #6 Den #7 This will most likely how things will shake out. Bills will have a great shot at reaching the superbowl.

Brady under fire for calling Josh a "spaz" on Sunday's broadcast...

This is very interesting. It was very common here when I was growing up. No one thought twice about saying it to your friends or yourself sometimes. So was the term you guys use for cigarettes but I believe that term is now off limits. -

Same here. I thought he’d be in KC before they got DHop. Maybe the thought of having to sign him to a long term deal was not appealing. -

Lamar throws a low velocity ball so that should help. Haha -
AR can get all the rests he needs now.

This makes sense. He’s really the only viable candidate left that wouldn’t require a lot of draft capital. After him it’s the Mike Williams of the world. -

All of last week the talk was the Ravens being the best team in the league. Watch how that talk will shift to Detroit this week. How dominant they are. Destined to win blah blah. I think they will lose to GB this week and the media will hype the next team. If Bills blow out the Fins the media will be all over the team as the one to beat. It happens every year. These media narratives get repetitive and boring year after year. -
Tom Brady post-game interview of Josh Allen, his "favorite QB"
90sBills replied to PoundingDog's topic in The Stadium Wall
Not sure about the bolded part. During last week’s commentary he said Mahomes was the only opposing qb he ever felt compelled to go meet after the game. Literally walked over to the opposing locker room and knocked. Brady respects Mahomes’ game and might even be threatened about being surpassed. Brady is not like that with Allen. I always sensed that he thinks Allen as a kid brother that has immense talent but lacks discipline. His comments about Allen being a grade school spaz sometimes is indicative of that feeling. -
If they somehow locks up the #1 seed and still undefeated I think Reid would start resting starters. Moot point anyway since they will lose to the Bills in 3 weeks.
-
Apparently not being complacent is something you’re unfamiliar with.

The margins between teams are so close that I don’t think any team is head and shoulders above. They’re all professionals. That’s a why Cleveland can beat the supposedly best team in Baltimore. KC has that ability to find a way to win in close games. It’s evident during their entire run up to this point. The bigger the game the higher the pressure the more it becomes an advantage for them.
