It’s the NFL where ‘any given Sunday’. No wins are guaranteed.
-
I can see Bills losing 2 more games to end up 13-4. We’ll see if that’s enough for the #1 seed.
-
I remember a case as recent as the 90s that involved a black man being dragged behind a truck until he was decapitated. That was in Texas if memory serves. This Kermit situation would not invoke those things to me. Tasteless and unfunny definitely. But nothing that relates to atrocities. Now the case on Reddit where a Chiefs fan was assaulted at the game, that’s concerning.

This was what stood out to me. They played this game differently than their recent games. Didn’t stick with the run game to control t.o.p. Tried to force feed Worthy. If they meet again in the playoffs I bet KC’s gameplan would be completely different. More run base with Pacheco/Hunt and play action off that. Bills gotta adjust.

December 15th at Detroit is the Game of the Year

It’s been surreal this season watching Nick Wright on multiple occasions defended Allen and the Bills. After Sunday most of the media is back on the Bills bandwagon. So he’ll probably go back to taking the other stance the rest of this season. -
Then you should be feeling good about where things are at. I have no doubt Mahomes and Reid will figure things out come playoffs time relative to who’s catching the ball. What should be worrisome is that line. Watching the game on Sunday saw Mahomes being pressured repeatedly up the middle. That’s supposedly the strength of KC’s line. That was not happening last year even when their offense struggled. And of course the tackles, especially the left side. That’s the stuffs that should be concerning for you as a KC fan.

Only Lamar is running away with stats. If Baltimore doesn’t finish with at least the #2 seed I don’t think they’ll give it to him a third time. Of the 4 teams in line for the 1st or 2nd seed in both conferences Allen has best chance. -
This all stems from kindergarten when we lose at any game and immediately say ‘best out of 3!’

What did you think of that golf clap by Kelce?
90sBills replied to njbuff's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yeah I didn’t get that vibe. But I think it depends on how you feel about him. I’m neutral about the Kelce’s so I didn’t get that vibe. -

I dunno man. From my experience that’s what it looked like. Kelce always has good things to say about Allen and the Bills in general as well. He was very complimentary on their podcast today. -
Just take the L and move on. Hopefully there’d be a playoffs rematch this season.

He’d be crying in that scenario. -

Man you guys must really hate him to have this reaction. I took it as tipping your cap to the opponent that just beat you. Sign of respect.- 135 replies

Bills are definitely SB contenders. They can beat anybody in the AFC. Whether they will in the biggest moments remains to be seen. Allen is also a lock for MVP unless something crazy happens the last 6 games. He’s earned it. -

Real life isn’t a video game. Human beings tend to get in their own way sometimes. What looks like a can’t lose team could shrivel up under pressure. Dan Campbell might stop them from reaching their potential. -
Wow interesting. They’ve already given up on Worthy. 😈
-
Agreed. But no one outside our fans will care about that.
-
Well…the 3 Lombardi trophies probably sway public opinion.

The regular season wins in ‘21 and ‘22 were even more convincing. They ultimately led to the same ending. However, I do agree that it felt different this year. To me it’s not about how convincing the win was. It’s all about Allen. He’s different this year in a good way. Much more composed during games. Making great decisions. Loved his post game comments. That is what’s giving me hopes that things might turn out differently this time.
-
Now that’s worth dunking! Haven’t we learned that these regular season wins don’t amount to much at the end of it all? I’d trade all the regular season wins against KC for just one of their wins in the playoffs against the Bills.

Bills Exposed 2023 Eagles and Now, 2024 Chiefs
90sBills replied to theRalph's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yeah no one is crying for them. They’re still a great team that the Bills beat. Not sure about exposing anything though. -
Not specifically to this thread. Just comments throughout this forum since yesterday. To be clear I think Bills have a great shot this year to do it. Much more so than how I felt last year so I’m cautiously optimistic. It’s not about celebrating the win. It’s more of pronouncements that Bills will win it this year and many years to come. Like a regular season win is some kind of litmus test. Yesterday was a great win no doubt. Bills beat one of the top AFC contenders. It’s not like that hasn’t happened before. It has literally happened the last three seasons. They have also finished with the #2 seed the last two seasons. That’s where the probability has them finishing again this year, as the #2 seed. Then we all know what happened in the playoffs. So my point was we’ve been down this road many times. It’s like playing a video game where you keep failing at a certain level. It’s hard to be super excited until you get close to that level again.

Bills Exposed 2023 Eagles and Now, 2024 Chiefs

You may be right about Watson. It does seem like their secondary has been more susceptible since he’s been out. Could be coincidence. Yeah I doubt Brown or Rice makes it back. This could be the year for a new AFC representative in the big game. 🤞 -

Losing Brown, Rice, Pacheco, and Watson has really hurt KC. Especially Watson. Their secondary is more vulnerable without him there.
