WHAT? You mean the "Playstation 2 actually played by Jesus" that I bought on eBay might not be the real deal? Ugh, worst 300 bucks I've ever spent. How do Biblical relics actually provide 'evidence' or validate the faith? There's nothing you could dig up that would prove that the resurrection ever happened and I think people know that. I don't think this proves religious people are guillible.

I totally agree with that. And having great special teams was a big reason why we turned things around this year.
-
The game was still under control until Bledsoe awarded the Steelers 7 points. Prior to that, we were down by 2 and Pittsburgh was removing players left and right. Cowher gave us every opportunity to win that game.
-
3. QB - Bledsoe must be replaced. If it is by someone other than Losman, then so be it. But we know we can't win with Drew and we can't ignore that. 4. TE - I didn't get to see much of the injured guys before they got injured. We do need another receiving option there desperately though. 5. OL - Probably what we'll spend our second round pick on. We do need help/depth there. 6. 3rd WR - Josh Reed is useless. We need an upgrade there. 7. K - Someone should tell Lindell he's done in Buffalo.

I don't have any reasons to think he will or will not be ready to be the starter come next season. How he does in the mini camps and training camp will have to determine that. I had been thought that another year as an understudy would do him well but I think I've given up all hope of Bledsoe ever leading the team anywhere now. What I know about Bledsoe is that he's at his worst when the team needs him the most. I heard people on WGR explain that he didn't do that poorly because he basically played the way he had when we were winning. Hello? That's not a good thing. I don't know if JP is ready but it'd be nice to have someone who didn't just wait in the pocket for something bad to happen. Having a QB who's good to run for 4-5 yards at least when the receivers aren't open adds a ton to the team.

Yeah, seriously, just beat the Patriots and we'll call it even.
-
Bledsoe, Reed, and Lindell were my three goats as well. Reed and Lindell are both complete wastes of space while Bledsoe can't win a big game to save his life. You can't win a Super Bowl if your QB can't perform at all against NE and Pittsburgh. You don't expect him to have his best game against teams like that but he can't crumble the way he did.

The Bills didn't cover anyone in the first two quarters. There were a few Pittsburgh passes that were dropped by guys who were wide open. 16-10 doesn't nearly describe how one-sided that first half was. Bills need to come out and play like animals in a few minutes because they should be losing by a couple touchdowns they way they played during the first half.

Embarassing first half. Good thing the Bills have been a second half team the last few weeks because that's our only hope right now. Paging Lee Evans.......... [ COWBELL!!!! ]

Why wait for the replacement players? I went to the Amerks game on Tuesday and had a blast. The place was rocking and you could barely tell the difference from the NHL games. The tickets were cheap, the stands were full, and the game was great. The AHL players could be the new NHL players and I don't think there'd be many complaints. I'm 100% in favor of replacement players ASAP. The dropoff in talent isn't that much and the problem takes care of itself in a couple years anyway. Screw the NHLPA.

There's less fighting now than there was even a decade ago when the sport was much more popular. The game's descent into second tier status has taken place alongside a decline in fighting and the presence of enforcers like RR.

Vince Young. Happy to say I got to see him in person this year. Unbelievable game - he won it single-handedly. If the Longhorns had lost, I'd have been yelling and screaming about how he was the only one to show up on offense (no one showed up on special teams and Derrick Johnson was the only guy on defense who really did anything). Michigan might've been the better team overall but VY just took over.

It feels like the old days - and by old days I mean about ten years ago. The entire city is going nuts about the Bills in early January. This season has reminded me why I was ever so into football in the first place. It's a beautiful thing.

No one has done that here (thankfully), but you can find those people on the internet with ease.

We sucked? When? I don't remember that...... Actually, those threads have some good posts by positive people who turned out to be dead on.

I don't agree with that at all. Ray is all about playing hard, throwing checks, and fighting. Clutching and grabbing is a league-wide dilemma that the league has to deal with because the players, like all pro athletes, are always going to do whatever they can get away with. Players getting bigger, goalie pads getting bigger, and moving the nets out all have more to do with the game's downfall than a few leftover enforcers like RR. BTW, yes, this is another great move by the NHLPA. They have zero hockey fans on their side and their players are getting paid zilch this season while missing out on a chance to play the game they love for the Stanley Cup. The best part is none of these players realizes how replacable they are. In 15 years basically none of them will even be capable of playing in the NHL so it's probably not a good idea to squander this time away. Oh well.

"That's not in the playbook.......but it should be." The Aaron Brooks Experience.

Yeah, real creative. Must've been up all night working on the designs for those. When the Bills win the Super Bowl, I'll be so happy and content I won't have to worry about anything that has ever happened to other teams. These guys are rubbing in: 1. Something that has nothing to do with the city of Buffalo - O.J. 2. A Super Bowl loss that has nothing to do with the Patriots in any way. This would be another case of me not needing sports to know that I'm a little better off than the aging "New Kids on the Block" rejects in those pictures.

Everyone at cold pizza giving Bills props.

I didn't even watch today and I can tell you she did. Thea Andrews is the reason to watch that show. If the entire show was 2 hours of her reading a book, I'd probably watch. -
Who the Hell are the Charlotte Bobcats?
SilverNRed replied to stevestojan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
How are the Bobcats doing in terms of attendance this year? -
And I could still see the "Super Team" losing to the Red Sox next year, especially if Wade Miller turns out to be OK. The 2002 Angels were a SUPERTEAM. We had Eckstein, dammit!

Heh.

I get the impression there is nothing Bush could've done in the aftermath of this tragedy that would've saved him from criticism. Either he isn't doing enough or he's sending too much money and resources overseas when we need them here. Either he rushes into this like a 'cowboy' or he's dragging his feet.

What do you like most about Mike Mularkey?
SilverNRed replied to OnTheRocks's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Bills fans agree with you on that one. Jerry Sullivan said it best a couple days ago: He has a real toughness while Gregg Williams just tried to project toughness. Williams responded poorly to criticism and yelled and screamed at his athletes. MM responds to criticism by not panicking, staying the course, and just working harder. It seems obvious that the players really respect him. -
Military help to Sri Lanka. Is this a good idea?

A late entry for worst post of 2004. If you could've somehow implied that the U.S. was responsible for the tsunami, we'd have a sure-fire winner.
