  1. That'd be awesome - AHL champions get the Calder Cup and the Stanley Cup.
  2. Amen. :I starred in Brokeback Mountain: NHLPA
  3. ????? Raising taxes is the reason why Erie County is among the poorest in the U.S.
  4. :I starred in Brokeback Mountain: NHL Let me know how the 10 game season goes....
  5. Bring on the replacement players!
  6. I heard Erie County employs 4,000 more people than Cook County, which is home to a little city called 'Chicago' and about 8x as many people. If that's true then basically, no, Erie County will never turn around and will remain the poorest part of the United States until we're all dead and beyond.
  7. Reed stinks. Everything else is exciting, though. Don't know if JP is the answer but it'll be cool to have a QB who can move.
  8. So graphic....where was the NSFW warning?
  9. Thoughts and prayers.
  10. No, that's not it because getting DB gave the Bills a legitimacy they hadn't had since the Super Bowl years and helped us bring in top line free agents like Spikes, Fletcher, etc. He also helped give Peerless Price his big season which, in turn, got us a first round pick. He did enough good here that making that trade is hardly a disaster. It's tough to say if things would have been better or worse if we had just held onto the pick.
  11. Good. I'm glad they cancelled the season. Any season they tried to 'salvage' wouldn't have been legit anyway. And any salary cap over $40 million does nothing to help the game or the league. Make a real change in time for next fall. Bring on the replacement players!
  12. What's going to happen is we'll lose. Same thing that happened every time DB led us into Foxboro. Same thing that happens any time any QB leads a team into Foxboro. Though I would like the Bills to be the team that changes all that.....
  13. Oh SNAP! Oh no he didn't! Actually, it's pretty rare for a player to bring another player's personal life into the smack talking. I don't like ARod but I think this may have crossed the line a bit.
  14. Based on Jay McKee's comments, it sounds like the players don't even know what's going on. Nice *Players* Union they got there.
  15. A 42 million dollar cap? What's the point? Ticket prices stay crazy and hockey stays irrelevent.
  16. The "Players Union" where the players have no idea what's going on. Nice.
  17. 1. All I can figure is he wasn't thinking straight. 2. He put the gun to his head but I have to think he was going to ask about his wife before he killed the kid. Of course, Baruz brought her up before he had the chance. And as far as he was concerned, his wife is a traitor and he can't trust her any more than he can the kid (thought she made it clear to Jack later that she wouldn't mind seeing everyone die). (I don't mind taking a leap of faith or two to enjoy the show.)
  18. In a perfect world, everyone would have a nice job. In the real world, a shrinking county can't afford to keep employing over 10,000 people.
  19. 1. Edgar, like everyone else, is working at the Los Angeles branch of CTU. No idea why he thought he could get to his mother in time, no matter where she was on the West Coast, but he probably just wasn't thinking straight. Aside from him trying to leave the office, it was a good storyline last night (though I wonder why he waited as long as he did to warn her). 2. Navi probably didn't kill Baruz right away because he needed to know where his wife was (not sure why he was ready to kill him in the stairwell so soon but oh well....). Besides, killing a little weiner like Baruz probably doesn't seem like much of a challenge to a badass terrorist. That's what I got.
  20. Here's something out of every man's worst nightmare: Link Good thing they specified that she "ran" away.
  21. What is amazing is how many high draft picks we've used trying to replace Jim Kelly. Todd Collins was a 2nd rounder, I think, and we traded a 4th (?) for Billie Jo Hobert. We traded a first and a fourth for Rob Johnson. We traded a first for Drew Bledsoe. We traded a first and some later picks so that we could draft Losman in the first round last April.
