Got their asses kicked in 3.

Jack Kemp isn't the greatest QB in Bills history as both Allen and Kelly are/were better. Kemp WAS the most successful QB in Bills history as the back-to-back AFL championships prove. There are only 4 QBs in Bills history worth mentioning. Kemp, Ferguson, Kelly, Allen. The rest including Flutie and Bledsoe aren't worth mentioning.

The American Media Should Not Be Trusted

McDermott isn't going anywhere but if they did make a coaching change then bring Bill here. Bill + Josh = championship. He would actually build a defense that could stop teams in the playoffs as his history proves which is something we don't really have right now.

18 game regular season should be coming soon. This 17-game season with the AFC/NFC alternating between 8 and 9 home games is dumb.

Will there be any shock organizational moves in the coming days/weeks?

I expect Beane to be aggressive in FA in upgrading the talent on both sides of the ball. Allen has a good supporting cast around him, but it needs to be better as the playoffs have shown us. So as for the team there will changes as it is every offseason with every team. As for the FO. No change. Beane and McDermott are not getting fired anytime soon. -
Unless Terry cleans house then it would be Beane leading the search for a HC. But we all know McDermott and Beane aren't going anywhere anytime soon.

They were fine in the regular season. One of the losses was the backups against the Pats in a meaningless game. So, 3 losses in 17 games. That is pretty impressive.

I didn't understand why the Bills didn't use Cook more. He was having a great game. You can bet the Eagles took notice of what Cook did. Barkley is going to get the ball a lot.

Add the Chargers to the list. Despite the playoff loss to the Texans, they had a great 1st year with Harbaugh. They went from 5-12 in 2023 to 11-6 this season.

He probably has 3 or 4 years left playing the way he does. Even if his ability to run declines that doesn't mean it's the end. Think of Elway. For most of his career he would run and scramble when he had to. Not at the level that Allen does but it was different game back then. But Elway won 2 Super Bowls towards the end of his career when he wasn't really running or scrambling at all. He didn't have to as he had Davis to run the ball.

Why moving on from McDermott is tough due to logistics
Gregg replied to iccrewman112's topic in The Stadium Wall
Knowing the Bills luck we would have our own version of Urban Meyer and the Jacksonville Jaguars. -
I wouldn't say "ever" but he is certainly safe for a while given they just went to the AFCCG in what was supposed to be a year where many thought it would be a mini rebuild/retool. I will say the pressure is on Beane this offseason to improve this roster in FA/draft. We have a good team around #17 but not a great one.

If he wants to be a HC he would. Many coaches would love to come here and have #17 as their QB. -
If Allen asks for a new staff he should get it.

I will give you one. Belichick. Before anyone points to Bill's record without Brady I would say "who cares" What is Bill's record when he has had an elite level franchise QB. Allen is an elite level franchise QB. Bill is also a much better DC than Sean. He would improve the defense which would increase their chances of getting over the hump and winning a Super Bowl. But we all know Terry isn't firing McDermott and Beane. We have to hope Beane has a good offseason with FA and the draft so he can upgrade the talent level on this team. -
Maybe he doesn't have the job. The Jets have not informed any GM finalist about whether they have or have not gotten the job yet, according to sources. Doesn't mean they don't know who will ultimately get the job — but there hasn't been an offer yet. — Zack Rosenblatt (@ZackBlatt) January 24, 2025
