The one thing though is Pegula loves having Beane and McDermott as his GM/HC. I agree with you, but Terry's opinion is the only one that counts. If the Bills keep having winning seasons and just keep making the playoffs despite no Super Bowl wins/appearances, I am afraid that would be good enough to keep Terry happy.

The Chiefs are now 1-3 in the playoffs after beating the Bills
Gregg replied to ShakAttack's topic in The Stadium Wall
Last night proved it all starts at LOS. Philly is elite on both sides of the ball. The Bills are elite on one side of the ball. Beane knows what he has to do this offseason. -
Marv had more success taking the Bills to 4 Super Bowls. Saban had more success winning back-to-back AFL championships.

I think Beane is going to get one of Garret or Crosby. It's time to get some elite level PROVEN talent on that side of the ball. It's a shame the Bills can't get to the Super Bowl and the defense is mostly responsible for that.

I think so. He deserves it IMHO.

Prepare For The Bills To Go International Regularly
Gregg replied to corta765's topic in The Stadium Wall
I think the hate comes from the fact that the Bills seem to lose these games. If they played at 9:00 in the morning and won, then it would be great as Bills fans could sit back and watch all the other games without stress knowing the Bills already won their game. But if they lose which they have then it sucks. -
The HOF class is also announced tonight. What does everyone think about Eli. Some say he should make it others say no. He did help the Giants win 2 Super Bowls and did against the evil empire twice.

It Goes Back to 13 Seconds, Doesn't It?
Gregg replied to st pete gogolak's topic in The Stadium Wall
I think McDermott and Beane are safe simply because Terry likes having both of them as his HC/GM. Also, the Bills are a winning, competitive organization despite not winning a Super Bowl. I would personally like to see the Bills move on from McDermott as these playoff failures are getting old. But my opinion is meaningless. -
It will be much more than that when he gets his next contract.
-
True but they did score enough in both games to win. The defense is the real issue, and it gets exposed in the playoffs against good teams with good QB's. Until that gets fixed Allen's career will go the same way Marino and Ewing's careers did. It won't matter how great he plays either.

I think it would be easier for players of those days to play today's game provided they work out and keep themselves in shape. Today's athletes are in better shape then back then. But football was a much more brutal sport back then. Look at all the shots Kelly took in his career. In today's game most of them would be considered unnecessary roughness. Ray Lewis when he was on Inside the NFL said he couldn't play in today's game because he would be getting flagged for unnecessary roughness on most of his hits given how he was such a physical player.

I bet Peyton and Eli will have a new commercial for the Super Bowl. They have some pretty good ones now.

Definitely going to make the trip up from NJ for a Bills home game next season being that is the last year of the current stadium. Then again in 2026 for the first year at the new place.
-
I would also add wait for the schedule release. Looking at the home schedule I see quite a few opportunities for primetime games.

Hockey especially playoff hockey. Then the Yankees as baseball season will be here soon.

The red helmet is OK for one game a year, but the white helmet is better. The charging buffalo stands out more on the white helmet. IMHO

I would have to think tickets for next season will sell like crazy. Not only are they a good team that can compete for a Super Bowl but it's the last year at Rich, Ralph, New Era, Highmark Stadium. A 52-year run at the stadium coming to an end. Also, next year is the last year to buy tickets at reasonable prices.

If Allen asks for a new staff he should get it.
Gregg replied to Ramza86's topic in The Stadium Wall
It's not McDermott but it looks like the Pats are getting one of the Bills coaches of the defensive side of the ball if this report is true. https://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/other/bills-coach-leaving-buffalo-after-losing-to-chiefs-in-afc-championship/ar-AA1y4Njx?ocid=entnewsntp&pc=U531&cvid=c3bda43a8efd4c98b76daff057061c15&ei=20 -
I didn't know that.
