  1. Definitely could happen this way. With the new stadium opening in 2026 and raised ticket prices as well as PSL fees Terry is going to want/need a good team to sell tickets. Look at the Jets and Giants as examples of having bad teams with higher prices and PSL fees. MetLife has thousands of empty seats on game days. These were two teams who sold-out Giants Stadium with just season ticket holders, and both had waiting lists for season tickets.
  2. Absolutely. Beane needs to do a better job with his draft picks especially in the early rounds.
  3. What if only one of them gets fired. Say the Bills fire McDermott but Beane remains the GM. In that scenario Beane would be the one leading the search for a new HC. All of this time and Beane has never hired a HC before as he was hired after McDermott.
  4. It probably won't happen, but it should. Even in some of the playoff wins the defense has struggled. The Ravens game for example. The Ravens drive right down the field for a potential game tying touchdown. Jackson made a poor throw on the two-point conversion, but it was still catchable and should have tied the game. The Bills defense didn't stop it. Baltimore screwed up on the play. How about a few years ago against the Dolphins in the playoffs. Some scrub named Skylar Thompson ended putting up a lot of points against the Bills defense. More often than not the defense fails to show up in big spots. Unless that changes then Allen is going to have the same type of career that Marino and Ewing had. Great players with no championships.
  5. It's probably going to go to an 18-game season with just 2 preseason games in the near future.
  6. Even the schedule release in May is a big event with them having a show on the NFLN. Baseball, basketball, hockey release their schedules without any warning since it's not a big deal. Fans look forward to the release of the NFL schedule for the opener, primetime games etc etc.
  7. Then bring in a new DC from outside the organization and let him have full control of the D because McDermott's defenses have failed miserably in the playoffs time and time again. The new DC can't and shouldn't be a puppet for McDermott to control as that will just lead more of the same failures on that side of the ball.
  8. I agree. At some point they need to get over the hump. The Eagles moved on from Reid and he took them to a Super Bowl as well as a bunch of NFCCG appearances. My point was I don't think Beane would stay with Buffalo if he was a puppet GM. He could easily get another GM job with another team.
  9. The Bills have been one of the best teams since Beane and McDermott got here. I doubt Beane would stay here as a puppet GM. If he left the Bills, he would be unemployed for about 5 seconds. Same with McDermott. I am sure McDermott has input and both of them have had numerous conversations on improving the team. But as the GM Beane has the final say on building the roster. As I mentioned I don't think he would stay to be a puppet GM for Sean.
  10. They drafted Jordan Travis from Florida St last year but he got hurt and missed the season. He will be back this year. My guess is if they don't go with Tyrod then they will sign a vet QB to be the starter for the next year or two while they draft another QB and see what Jordan Travis can do.
  11. The AFCN is one tough division with Burrow, Jackson as QB's who at this point are better than him. The Ravens and Bengals are better than the Steelers.
  12. https://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/other/complete-first-round-nfl-draft-order-set/ar-AA1yIFky?ocid=entnewsntp&pc=U531&cvid=3cca94e9fae14618c1a262e296371a96&ei=16
  13. I can't see the Jets trading Wilson. He is one of their best players. If they did trade him there is no way in hell they are trading him to the Bills. I doubt they want to see Allen and Wilson torching them twice a year.
  14. It's the last game until meaningless preseason games start up again in August. The offseason is so long. It's depressing.
  15. Beane and McDermott need to change the way they build their defense. These less physical type of defenses may work against lesser opponents. But against the top teams especially ones who play a physical brand of football they will struggle. If not for the turnovers they would have lost to the Ravens. Think Ravens, Eagles, Steelers as examples of how they should build the defense.
  16. He is not what he used to be but he is still the one Mahomes looks to in key situations. Gut feeling I think he retires and joins his brother as an announcer.
  17. He was uncomfortable in the pocket all night. Credit the Eagles front 4 as they destroyed the Chiefs OL. Giants did the same thing to Brady twice which was the key to beating the evil empire on the biggest stage.
  18. I wouldn't be surprised if Kelce retires. If he does that will be a big loss for their offense.
  19. Beane needs to take some blame here as well. His drafting in the early rounds hasn't been good.
  20. At this point its just Terry. Unfortunately, because of her health I doubt Kim as anything to do with the Bills/Sabres anymore. I doubt Terry's kids are involved in the decision-making process with the teams at least not yet.
  21. If last year is any indication, then yes, they would have. Didn't the Bills lose at Philly in OT. That was a game they easily could have won.
  22. The one thing though is Pegula loves having Beane and McDermott as his GM/HC. I agree with you, but Terry's opinion is the only one that counts. If the Bills keep having winning seasons and just keep making the playoffs despite no Super Bowl wins/appearances, I am afraid that would be good enough to keep Terry happy.
  23. Last night proved it all starts at LOS. Philly is elite on both sides of the ball. The Bills are elite on one side of the ball. Beane knows what he has to do this offseason.
  24. Marv had more success taking the Bills to 4 Super Bowls. Saban had more success winning back-to-back AFL championships.
