How could any NFL team be having cash problems. The money they get from the TV contracts is a cash cow alone. This is the most popular sport in America and nothing else is even close including baseball. It's a multi-billion dollar a year business year after year. Just look at how the value of the small market Bills has gone up since Pegula bought the team.
-
That certainly didn't help but looking back at it the only Super Bowl the Bills should have won was the Giants game. The Bills were the better team. Thurman should have gotten the ball more that day even with only 19 minutes of TOP as the Giants hogged the ball all game. The Redskins physically overpowered the Bills, and the Cowboys were the better team although the Bills did hang in the 2nd Cowboys game leading at half.

Are retail and restaurant workers getting ruder?
Gregg replied to Miyagi-Do Karate's topic in Off the Wall
I was a kid/teenager during the 70's and 80's. Back then there was no social media, no Facebook "friends". Growing up back then we played football, baseball, rode our bikes. Didn't come home till it was getting dark out. You had real friends not "friends" on the internet. Today it seems everyone stares into their phones all day, and many don't know how to be social with other people. Back then nobody gave a **** about politics or who was a D or R. It seems just about everything today is political. It does seem the world is more divided than ever. -
Just one mock version of Rd 1 - 3. https://www.bing.com/ck/a?!&&p=951527e102044fea8e3889571f841f8b5e2aa946f93fbf15633f47ebb18bc62aJmltdHM9MTczOTgzNjgwMA&ptn=3&ver=2&hsh=4&fclid=39432f18-80d3-69d2-2993-3dda815f6841&psq=nfl+mock+draft&u=a1aHR0cHM6Ly93d3cudGFua2F0aG9uLmNvbS9uZmwvbW9ja19kcmFmdA&ntb=1

Unless Pegula were to clean house and fire both McDermott and Beane then it would be Beane leading the search if McDermott was the only one fired.
-
As I mentioned it's not happening anyway, but I have doubts the Bills win it all with McDermott. His defenses continue to play poorly in the playoffs and it's the main reason why the Bills can't get to a Super Bowl.
-
His record with Brady speaks for itself. Bill's defense contributed a lot to those Super Bowl wins. If nothing else the Bills defense would perform better in the playoffs with Bill. Of course, the bar is set low with McDermott's defense disappointing in many of these playoff games. I just think with Bill's defense and Allen playing like he usually does in the playoffs that would give the Bills an excellent shot to win a Super Bowl.
-
Won't happen now but I wanted them to go get Bill. He can opt out of his UNC contract. Bill manages the game better than Sean. He is a better DC than Sean. His record when he has had a franchise QB speaks for itself. His end at NE wasn't good but going from the GOAT to Mac Jones. No coach could overcome that drop in talent at the games most important position.

The football trifecta and where do the Bills stand?
Gregg replied to Sweats's topic in The Stadium Wall
Allen, Cook, Shakir would be my guess. -
I don't know if he will host SNL, but I could eventually see Allen doing lots of commercials like Peyton and Eli do.
-
I always thought it was Kim who was the one leading the charge to purchase the Bills. I thought she grew up in WNY and has been a lifelong Bills fan.

Let's be honest, Josh probably has 5 good seasons left

Definitely enjoy watching Allen play. He is one of the most exciting players to watch. But if the Bills can't win a Lombardi in the Allen era, then it will take away some of the enjoyment watching his career. They have to win at least one while he is the QB. -

Beane deserves his share of the blame as well. He has missed on his picks to much in the early rounds of the draft. The Bills have a good roster but not a great one. We have no "game changers" on defense. Von was supposed to be that guy but the injury and now age have prevented that.
-
The Eagles are the perfect example. They and Reid parted ways, and he had more success with them then McDermott has had with the Bills. Since the Eagles parted ways with Reid, they have gone on to win the Super Bowl twice.
-
Terry would only be hiring the next HC if he cleans house. If Beane is still here, then it would be him leading the search. With Allen as QB and a decent roster which is what the Bills have then the chances, they miss the playoffs are slim especially with the AFCE being weak.

Stevie Johnson, Fred Jackson want to revive the Buffalo Destroyers
Gregg replied to PromoTheRobot's topic in The Stadium Wall
Not a chance. Buffalo is a football mad city. I know it's also a very good hockey market, but the Bills are the #1 team in WNY. -
I think if Adams were to come here that "everybody eats" motto goes out the window. Give Allen an elite level WR and they would dominate. We saw it with Diggs for a while.
-
We all assume he is signing somewhere but he could just retire. He has nothing to prove. He won a Super Bowl and is one of the all-time great QB's and a first ballot future HOF inductee.
-
I disagree. I think they are doing an outstanding job and I for one hope it continues going forward.
-
Any interest in bringing Adams here if he does get his release. I would love to get GW in Buffalo, but it would be a cold day in hell before the Jets traded him here.
