NFL will make all games available on stream in 2025.

Expect the same this year. I don't know what the max number is for primetime games for one team. 5 maybe 6 but whatever it is I think the Bills will get the max number of primetime games. -
I was a kid at the time, but I remember the Jets last game at Shea in 1983 vs the Steelers. As the game ended fans were ripping the seats up to take home. Fans had stormed the field were ripping up grass just to have a part of Shea. It wasn't violent or anything like that. Fans just wanted memorabilia of Shea as the team went to Giants Stadium in 1984.

Exactly. CBS, FOX, NBC, ESPN pay billions to have the rights to show these games. The NFL/networks aren't walking away from that $$$$ as it is extremely profitable for both sides. -
While the full schedule doesn't get released until May doesn't the league announce the international games schedule earlier than that. March, April ?

Let's be honest, Josh probably has 5 good seasons left
Gregg replied to Steptide's topic in The Stadium Wall
Elway had already gotten to 3 Super Bowls before finally winning two championships. The fact that Josh hasn't gotten to one Super Bowl this far into his career is frustrating and disappointing. -

I didn't like it when the NFL started showing one playoff game on Prime. Had to go to the bar to watch it. It's the way the world is trending so why bother complaining about something we have no control over. -
I am for the trade. Garrett is an elite level talent that desperately fills a need. Going into the season he will be 29 and turns 30 in December. He is younger than Von. As far as getting hurt. That can happen to any player at any age. Injuries happen to every team so you can't worry about stuff like that.

Don't forget about the Jets who do stupid better than anybody.

He's been here what 8 or 9 years. At some point he should be held accountable for the playoff failures. Same thing goes for Beane, but they won't as I don't see Terry firing them yet.

Best non Super Bowl Bills Team, SB era, ever
Gregg replied to Thrivefourfive's topic in The Stadium Wall
I remember the 1980 team started out 5-0 but had 2 bad losses to the Colts that cost them homefield advantage. If that Chargers game is played in Buffalo, then it's probably a different outcome. -
No guarantees but the Bills are a win now mode team. Allen is still in his prime. These next 5 years or so are the Bills best shot to win with Allen at the top of his game. If they can win a Super Bowl but then have to suffer some down years because of it, then I bet most Bills fans would sign up for that.

Isn't the AFC scheduled for 9 home games this year and 8 road games. If there was a year for the Bills to lose a home game this would be it.
-
I hope not. It seems the Bills never do well in these types of games. I am hoping for 17 games in the USA please. We are already going to get the max number of primetime games most likely. Especially the home schedule with a lot of contenders coming to OP. So, I expect many night games at Highmark next year.

I don't remember who Gretsky broke the record against. I would have to look it up.
-
Would that game be in Buffalo or Washington. Either way ticket prices for that game will be bigtime $$$$$
-
Go back to the way they used to do kickoffs. College football still uses normal kickoffs unlike the NFL which does this BS kickoff stuff.

Most of the time I get a regular cheese pizza, but I have gotten pizza with meatballs and other times with pepperoni.

Best non Super Bowl Bills Team, SB era, ever

For the older fans who were around back then I would say the 17-7 win over the Dolphins in the 80 opener was/is the greatest regular season win in Bills history. -

I was at Shea during the 1981 WC game. What a game that was. Charles Romes returns Bruce Harper's fumble on the opening KO for a TD. That play happened right in front of me. Ferguson and Frank Lewis hit on two big scoring plays. I was loving life when the Bills jumped out to a 24-0 lead. I didn't expect "nervous time" at that point. But the Jets made a furious rally to cut the lead to 31-27. Thankfully Bill Simpson intercepted Todd at the goal line to stop a Jets drive that would have won the game for them. Leaving Shea and seeing all of the sad Jets fans.... PRICELESS. -
Watched OV get a hat trick yesterday vs the Oilers. He is now 13 away from breaking Gretsky's all-time goal scoring record. Even though I am not a Caps fan (Isles fan) I have to give credit to #8. 39 years old and he is still going strong. He will eventually pass Gretsky and score over 900 goals and maybe even reach 1,000 if he can play a few more years at a high level. Either way he is the GOAT goal scorer of all-time. He has certainly burned my Isles over the years.

As someone who was born on LI and then moved to NJ, I can't say I have to many memories of the current stadium. Only been there 4 or 5 times over the years. The one game that stood out was a game against the Jets in the early the 90's. The Jets started a rookie tackle against Bruce. Boomer paid for it as Smith destroyed the tackle (forgot his name) and put a vicious hit on Boomer that knocked him out. Bills won 29-10.
