The Vikings game this year was another sign that the D wasn't great. Up 27-10 with a minute left in the 3rd quarter at home and they still lose the game. -

Which is why building the OL is so important. It's not just protecting Allen while he is in the pocket. They need a strong running game with the RB's doing the running. The less Josh runs the better. Otherwise, he is going down the same road as Cam Newton. -
Didn't Saquon Barkley win it?

If he wants to play and the doctors give him a clean bill of health, then he will play.

I am not so sure about the bolded. McDermott recommended to the Pegula's they hire Beane. The Pegula's listened. Terry said in an interview back when they were hired that both men will report to him. He said Sean has the final say when it comes to coaching the team, running practices, team meetings etc etc etc. But Brandon has the final say with the draft, FA, and putting the roster together. -
We are weak at the LOS on both sides of the ball. At least when Von was out there, we could generate a pass rush. Does anyone expect a 34-year-old to remain healthy for the entire season next year. I hope so but I wouldn't count on it. Lot of pressure on Beane in this draft. I don't expect the Bills to be major players in FA. We are probably going to have trouble resigning our own. Any real improvement will have come from the draft IMHO. Beane has to have a draft this year that JD had last year for the Jets with Breece, Wilson and Sauce.

They will already be underdogs in 3 games. At KC, At CIN, At PHIL. I am sure there will be other games where they aren't favored.
-
Maybe the media won't pay as much attention to them, but they will still have the bullseye on their back as far as the Jets, Dolphins, and Pats are concerned. They are still the team to beat in the division as they have won it three times in a row. I live in NJ, and I can tell you the Jets treated the games against the Bills as their personal Super Bowl. I would imagine it will be the same next year with all three teams wanting to take down the Bills.

Favorite season with Allen hasn't been played yet since it will be the one where we win the Lombardi. McDermott may or may not be the coach when that happens. Same for Beane as the GM.

Wishing Kim the best in making a full recovery.

Sunny, 90 degrees with 18 inches of snow.

Want to see how FA and the draft play out first. Right now, on paper that is tough schedule especially the road schedule. At KC, CIN, PHIL. 3 brutal road games right there.

How did the Patriots maintain a top team for 17 years?
Gregg replied to Success's topic in The Stadium Wall
If you look back at the Pats dynasty. There were 4 teams that were challenging them in the AFC. During the 1st half of the run, it was the Colts and Ravens. With Indy you had Brady vs Manning. With the Ravens it was the Brady vs the Lewis led D. Then when Manning went to Denver it was the Pats vs Broncos. The Steelers also played them in big games as it was Brady vs Ben. The Colts, Ravens, Broncos, Steelers were bigger rivals to the Pats then anyone currently in the AFCE. Even the Giants frustrated NE more than the Bills, Dolphins, Jets ever did during their dynasty run. -
If Frazier returns, how much will your enthusism die?

I know it sucked not to have him out there. Maybe we don't win anyway but I definitely think it would have been a lot closer. -

I wonder if the Bengals game plays out differently if we had Von out there. The Bengals were missing 3 starters on the OL. Von would have taken advantage of that. Maybe that would have opened things up for the rest of the pass rush. I don't know if the Bills would have won as they only scored 10 points but who knows. The D could have gotten some turnovers which could have created points and the Bengals probably don't get 27. We will never know. -

I also thought the AFCW would be tough. The Chargers always seem to give them a tough time, but they almost always lose. -
Dov Kleiman on Twitter: "#Chargers star Keenan Allen, and TE Gerald Everett are "most likely" cuts for the team, per @danielrpopper LAC can save $14.8 million in cap space by releasing Allen and $4.25 million by cutting Everett. The Chargers are currently $23.4M over the cap. https://t.co/VIhDsNWaba https://t.co/dJyUcGS7Nx" / Twitter

Brady also had Giselle who made more money then he did. I don't know what Allen's GF does for a living if she does anything at all. -

The one thing I will say about NE during their run was they always seemed to have trouble with the Dolphins in Miami. That was the own personal house of horrors. I think Brady's career record in Miami was around .500. The Bills rarely beat the Pats and the Jets weren't much better.
