  1. The Allen contract is going to look better as the years go by. Wait until Burrow, Herbert, Lawrence, Hurts get their big pay day.
  2. Even 35M is high IMHO but we will see how this plays out.
  3. Burrow, Herbert, Hurts, Lawrence. All of them will cash in bigtime. No way is Jones worth 45M. I could see 25M or 30M tops but not 45M per.
  4. Saw this posted at the Buffalo Range. Bengals LB Germaine Pratt, age 26. Pratt has evolved into one of the most underrated LBs in the NFL, as he amassed 190 tackles, 3 INTs, 3 FFs, and 9 PBUs in 2021 and 2022 Pratt’s 90.1 coverage grade was the best in the NFL and his 90.1 overall since week 8 was the top among LBs PFF grade = 80. Higher than Tremaine's. SPOTRAC is projecting a salary of $10 million AAV vs Tremaine Edmunds $17 - $18 million AAV
  5. Maybe but then why play. Sure, he could make more money, but he is financially set for life right now. Unless he is a moron with his money like Tyson was, he could retire and do whatever he wants.
  6. I think it would be a good thing if he went there. Maybe then the Raiders can give the Chiefs some competition in the division.
  7. Build a better OL and the Chiefs become very beatable in the playoffs. Allen can't be the main focus of the running game. When Allen drops back to pass, he shouldn't have to run for his life most of the time. See Bengals playoff game as an example of that. The Bills did beat the Chiefs twice in Arrowhead in the regular season. They are beatable but the Bills need to fix some of their issues on offense if they want to beat them in the playoffs.
  8. Did you know the Sabres have 6 games in hand on the Islanders. The Isles currently occupy WC 1 with 65 points and the Sabres have 60 points. The Sabres have control of their destiny. I mentioned this in another post. Nobody expects a Cup or even a playoff run this year. But it's important to make the playoffs just so their young players can get playoff experience. Also, it would be nice to end the playoff less streak just like the Bills did. It would also go a long way in developing a winning culture.
  9. As long as the Bills have Allen, I don't think the window will completely close. I don't want to say "rebuild" but Beane has to do some retooling of this roster. OL improvement is must. Give Allen a strong OL and he will make the receivers around him better. Another weapon at WR would also help. We are probably going to lose some key players in FA so how Beane handles this offseason with the draft/FA is key.
  10. Paul Andrew Esden Jr on Twitter: "Some spicy NEW info from @JeffDarlington on @GetUpESPN: - Derek Carr's visit w/ the #Jets was "very positive" - Organization believes that Carr could "lead them to a championship" 👀 - They feel like he is a "great player" #TakeFlight https://t.co/2VVjuVl0CE" / Twitter
  11. Here in the NYC area the speculation is the Jets will make Carr an offer after a positive visit.
  12. Jets Preparing to Offer Derek Carr After "Positive" Meeting this Weekend | 77 WABC Sports (wabcsportsradio.com) Same thing was said on WFAN.
  13. I hope they don't get Carr either as he would also be an upgrade over what they have. I am hoping they strike out on getting one of the QB's and have to resign White with Wilson as the backup again.
  14. By his standards he had a down year throwing for 3,695 yards with 26 touchdowns and 12 interceptions. That isn't a bad year overall, but the decline may have started. He is 39 and I don't see him playing well into his mid 40's like Brady did. I still don't want him going to the Jets as he is still good enough to get them to the playoffs. That would make things harder for the Bills.
  15. How is the draft this year for WR's? I expect the Bills will go OL in RD 1 but maybe they can get a good WR in the later rounds.
  16. The Sabres have a good shot at making the playoffs this year. Nobody expects a Cup or even a playoff run but making the playoffs is very important for this team. They would break their playoff less streak like the Bills did in McDermott's first year. It would give the players some playoff experience which is a great thing to have going forward. It would also show that the Sabres rebuild is working this time in building a winning culture. Just like the Bills have done.
  17. He probably would be very effective in this offense as the #3 WR. Hopefully Beane can upgrade at #2 WR to go opposite Diggs.
  18. Tua should probably retire. It's not worth it risking another concussion. He had two confirmed concussions last year vs the Bengals and Packers. He probably had one against the Bills, but they never confirmed it.
  19. If he does get the job, then it will be fun watching his defense go up against Mahomes twice a year.
  20. The schedule comes out in May so maybe April for the London game.
  21. Some of the PSL fees at MetLife in the lower level start at $2,500 per seat and can go as high as $25,000 per seat. But the Jets and Giants have the NYC market to draw from. Corporations or the extremely wealthy can afford to pay that but the average person can't. Some of these prices are crazy for a PSL fee. Add in the fact that the regular cost for season tickets has also gone up. They have to spread out the payments over 5,10,15 years otherwise most people are priced out.
  22. When MetLife opened the Jets gave fans the option to pay the PSL fee in one shot, or over 5, 10, 15 years with interest of course. The Bills will work with the fans on this. They have to. Who really wants to pay or can afford to pay the PSL fee in one shot. They know a certain number of fans will be priced out. That is why the new stadium will hold around 60,000. Which is probably a good capacity for the Buffalo market at those prices.
