Then there is this. I don't know if Beane can make it work cap wise though... Adam Schefter on Twitter: "Rams and nine-time All-Pro LB Bobby Wagner mutually agreed Thursday to part ways, sources tells ESPN. Rams needs more cap space and Wagner wants to win. He will now be a notable part of this year’s free-agent class. https://t.co/1A3KvudOhj" / Twitter

His defense does very well against bad/mediocre teams which leads to high rankings, but they get exposed against good teams with good QB's. Burrow and Mahomes could probably light the Bills D up for 35 points or more while playing in their sleep. Bills D = paper tiger.

He isn't owning up to his biggest mistake and that is keeping Frazier on as DC.

QB Carr to visit the Jets (Update: signed with the Saints)
Gregg replied to BillsFan619's topic in The Stadium Wall
Paul Andrew Esden Jr on Twitter: ".@diannaESPN spilled some tea on @GetUpESPN: - Kind of contract Derek Carr is looking for is "35M+ per year" - "Doesn't need to be the first QB to sign" a deal this offseason - "He does like New York" but will depend on how things shake out "over the next few weeks" #Jets https://t.co/XweXmElnP4" / Twitter Dov Kleiman on Twitter: "The market for free-agent QB Derek Carr is heating up. Sources say that 3 other teams recently "called and connected" with Carr in addition to the #Jets and #Saints, according to @JFowlerESPN https://t.co/2cLitEIS9X https://t.co/kLKH7DOdgY" / Twitter -
You are probably right as the Bills have done a lot of winning since McDermott took over. But as we have seen with the Sabres, Terry is not afraid to make changes. Granted the Sabres for a long time were a joke. But fans, media, DIGGS, are starting to run out of patience with these playoff failures. Tomlin has won a Lombardi along with all of the successful seasons the Steelers have had. McDermott hasn't done that yet.

Injuries happen. Doesn't change the fact that it was blowout. I give the Bengals credit for beating KC and getting to the Super Bowl 2 years in ago. I also give them credit for kicking the Bills ass these past playoffs.
-
32-13 isn't a blowout?
-
Didn't the Bengals get blown out by the Browns this past year.

Beane has to do 3 things well this offseason for the Bills to have a good chance to win the Super Bowl. 1. Improve the OL. Everyone knows it's been said a billion times on this message board. 2. Get an #2 WR 3. Plug in the holes on D as we are probably losing Edmunds and Poyer.

2023 Yankees thread.........Domingo German pitches perfect game
Gregg replied to BADOLBILZ's topic in Off the Wall
Unless they have to deal with serious injuries the Yanks will be back in the postseason. Can they get past the Astros is the real question? -
I would remove Frazier from your PRO list and add him to your CON list. Any DC who can't protect a 3-point lead with 13 seconds left goes on the CON list every time. Especially when the other team starts that drive at their own 25.
-
They need to dominate at home say something like 7-2 or better because that road schedule is killer. Games at KC, CIN, and PHIL. WTF. Road games at NYJ and MIA won't be easy either.

Lamar Jackson wants guarantees that exceed Watson contract
Gregg replied to SCBills's topic in The Stadium Wall
Lamar should have taken the 250M/133M guaranteed. -
I hope you weren't around in 1984, 1985. You want to talk depressing times being a Bills fan back then was miserable. Back-to-back 2-14 seasons. The Bills will be fine. They won 13 games last year and Allen is the best QB in the division. Beane does have some work to do fixing the weaknesses on the roster, but they should still be a playoff team. They will probably win the division again even though the Fins and Jets (if they get a QB) will challenge them.
-
Josh Allen can definitely do that. Mahomes has a good OL and Allen doesn't. That's the difference.
-
Build the OL and get another playmaker at WR to go opposite Diggs. The D will probably lose Poyer and Edmunds. They will get back Hyde. Hope Tre can get back to his elite level of play. Have to see how FA and the draft play out but the pressure is definitely on Beane. They don't need a rebuild but more of a retooling as they did win 13 games last year. Need to build around Josh like the Chiefs do around Mahomes. Was the Chiefs D really that great last year? They have Jones and they are a decent D but definitely not elite. They still won the Super Bowl.
-
The Islanders winning last night didn't help. The Sabres do have 6 games in hand on them but are now 7 points back. Would have to go 4-2 to make it up with their games in hand. Can't have too many more games where they **** the bed like they did against the Leafs.

OJ 2,003 yards in 14 games. The real rushing record. Sorry Eric.

Before my time but what about the 1964 & 1965 Buffalo Bills. Two-time AFL champions and the only Buffalo team between the Bills and Sabres to win it all.

QB Carr to visit the Jets (Update: signed with the Saints)
Gregg replied to BillsFan619's topic in The Stadium Wall
NFL on ESPN on Twitter: "Derek Carr's visit with the Jets on Monday went 'really well' 👀🗽 "[The Jets] made it super personal too, they said 'We believe if you come to New York and win, you could be a first ballot Hall of Famer.'" — @diannaESPN https://t.co/eyBpLR8HRB" / Twitter -
Jones I could see getting 25M - 30M per year. I wouldn't go higher. He wants 45M per year and that is just crazy. He will still get a big pay day. The Giants can place the tag on him if they can't work out a deal. That is also a lot of money for an RB but Barkley was the main focus of their offense so it will be interesting to see how this plays out. I wouldn't mind Barkley on the Bills but not at the price he is asking for.
