The year of 13 seconds was it. I don't think they need a complete rebuild as they did win 13 games but a retool is in order. Beane needs to improve the OL and get more weapons for Allen. I expect the defense will regress most likely but if they can improve the offense then they should be able to compete with the Chiefs/Bengals as well as hold off any challenge from the Dolphins/Jets within the division. My hope is the defense can at least be in the top 10-12 range.

Two big games coming up. Tonight, vs the Oilers and McDavid. Tomorrow at the Isles. The one bad thing about the Isles game is the Sabres will be playing 3 in 4 while the Isles are rested.

I have had DirecTv since 2001. Only reason was the NFL Sunday ticket. Now I will have to get you tube TV since they now have the Sunday ticket. I am a Bills fan who lives in NJ so it's the only way I can see the Bills unless they play the Jets/Giants or it's a primetime game.

QB Carr to visit the Jets (Update: signed with the Saints)
Gregg replied to BillsFan619's topic in The Stadium Wall
Just like the Bills they have to fix their OL. I am not sure they can count on Breece this year. It took Barkley a couple of years to regain his old form from the same injury. Their D while not great is solid. I think they have good WR's. Carr isn't elite but he isn't bad either IMHO. A definite upgrade over what they have. I expect both games against them to be tough, physical games that will be competitive. Just like both games were last year. -

Jeremy Fowler on Twitter: "While the #Panthers and #Saints remain in the conversation for Derek Carr, the former Pro Bowl quarterback has a slight lean toward the #Jets as his next home as of now, per source. Nothing is final, but Jets -- who are linked to Aaron Rodgers -- have made an impression." / Twitter -
WR Allen Robinson available, Rams willing to eat salary
Gregg replied to Buffalo_Stampede's topic in The Stadium Wall
Even with the Rams willing to pay a portion of the salary can the Bills still do this cap wise? -
I know there are games to be played before next Tuesday. But next Tuesday is BUF at NYI. Big game to say the least.

Every NFL player would love to have a career like Brady. Josh is going on year 6 and hasn't played in a Super Bowl yet. To match Brady is realistically not going to happen. Think Ben, Payton, Eli is what I am hoping for Josh. Win a couple of Super Bowls along with a great career that ends up in Canton. I don't know if Eli will make it. Payton is there and Ben will be there.

Probably but the future is looking good. It's been a long time since Sabres fans can say that. Just like with the Bills this coming offseason is going to be a big one for the Sabres.

If McDermott isn't going to be the DC, then I wouldn't mind taking a look at the 49ers staff for the next DC. They know how to build a defense. Look at what former 49ers DC Saleh is doing with the Jets defense, and he has only been there 2 years.

Our time to win a championship will be on Feb 43rd at 98 o'clock. Book it.

QB Carr to visit the Jets (Update: signed with the Saints)

First time I have seen or heard that the Jets may move on from Wilson. Not surprised if they do but to strikeout on Darnold and now Wilson is a bad look. jamie stuart on Twitter: "First time I’ve ever heard Robert Saleh say Zach Wilson “could” play somewhere other than NY. Asked what happens to Wilson if a veteran QB in his early 30s joins the team? Saleh says the goal is for Wilson to improve….here or elsewhere #takeflight https://t.co/YAGlukcXDl" / Twitter -
Halftime Entertainment Featuring the Crapping Dog

That is a better halftime show then what the Super Bowl had. -
At Boston tonight. Getting even a point tonight would have to be considered a win.

Need to build the OL. Best OL available to us is where I would go. The draft board never goes as predicted. Some players stock will fall/rise like it does every draft. There will probably be players available at 27 who weren't expected to be there.

McDermott wants a ‘nastier edge’ to his Defense post Frazier
Gregg replied to Chandler#81's topic in The Stadium Wall
Terry does know how his team is run. In an interview when they were first hired, he said both men report to him Sean has final say on the coaching/football side of things and Brandon does with the roster building with FA/draft. Just repeating what Terry said in that interview. -
Exactly. Winning the division and making the playoffs is great but the bar has been raised. McDermott has to deliver a Super Bowl championship especially with a QB as good as Allen. Otherwise, he will be known as this generations Marty Schottenheimer/Marvin Lewis. We haven't even made the Super Bowl yet with Allen much less win one.
