  1. The Bills will get at least 4 and maybe flexed into a 5th game. I bet Bills at Bengals will be a Sunday afternoon game. It might be wise to avoid putting this one in primetime given what happened the last time. Superstition and all.
  2. Ari Meirov on Twitter: "The NFL announced that teams can now have two Thursday Night Football games per season. Limit was one. Now that’s changed. Flexing for TNF is not happening … for now." / Twitter Ian Rapoport on Twitter: "NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell, on John Mara calling flexing of TNF games, “abusive…” “Providing the best match ups for our fans is what we do. But we look at all the impacts. It’s a very important thing to balance between the in-stadium fans and those who watch on TV.”" / Twitter
  3. 80's as well. Along with the movies posted above. There is Caddyshack, Back to School, Better off Dead, and all of the Vacation movies as well.
  4. Just saw the NFL owners have approved that players can wear the number 0. Who will be our #0. CALVIN RIDLEY on Twitter: "Excited to be the first @Jaguars player to wear zero - shout out to @JagsEquip! #ReadyToWork https://t.co/MfympKGWSl" / Twitter
  5. Since this thread is about down years. Here is the winning percentage of every NFL franchise. NFL on CBS 🏈 on Twitter: "Where's your squad located? https://t.co/VJFMtLCFE2" / Twitter
  6. I think Saleh and McDermott could have a great fight. Both can certainly beat up old man Bill and the nerd in Miami
  7. Allen definitely deserves some of the blame. His hero ball antics have led to too many turnovers. He needs to clean that up. He definitely needs to see the field better. I remember the INT at MetLife on the opening drive when the Bills were threatening. I was like WTF. Same with the game vs GB when the Bills were inside the 10 and he threw that horrible pick. Those are just some examples of his poor decision making. It's a combination of needing a better OL, an upgrade at WR 2, RB's needing to do a better job as well as Josh doing a better job protecting the ball.
  8. The Bills have to upgrade the OL. I believe the Eagles and Chiefs had the #1 and #2 ranked OL's last year. Look who played in the Super Bowl. The Bills was ranked #26. When your QB is your primary running game than that is a bad thing not a good one. Just think of how much more dangerous Allen would be with a strong OL and a strong running game with the RB's doing it. It would open up the passing game that much more and Allen and the offense would be unstoppable for the most part.
  9. How is this year's draft for WR's? I don't expect them to go there Rd 1 but if it's a good draft for WR's then we could get one in the later rounds.
  10. Charles Robinson on Twitter: "A deal between the #Packers and #Jets to swap Aaron Rodgers for two high draft picks is taking shape. But one lingering hangup is whether the Packers will agree to some draft “give back” protection if Rodgers doesn’t play in the 2024 season. Details: https://t.co/DmpXtuKwf2" / Twitter
  11. Per Forbes the Bills are #29 in value at 3.4 billion. The new stadium does make a difference. Didn't the Pegula's buy them for 1.4 billion.
  12. Elway was the same way early in his career. He was just a smaller version of Allen. Early on he would scramble a lot. He didn't have as many designed runs as Allen does. But the game was different back then. Things changed when Davis got there. He did all the heavy lifting running the ball. As John got older, he became a pocket passer and hardly ran at all. Allen will probably have to the same if he doesn't want his career cut short.
  13. Beane and McDermott aren't saying **** one way or the other.
  14. With a better OL and better RB's that will drastically reduce the amount of running plays Josh gets. Also, better pass protection means Josh won't have to run for his life to avoid the rush.
  15. Imagine how the Raiders, Chargers, and Broncos feel. I still feel like the Chargers are the team that can beat them. At least prevent them from winning the division. They always seem to play close games against them.
  16. No, I don't think he can. Isn't that tampering.
  17. Good depth player especially since Poyer and Hyde are over 30. Happy Birthday... Terry Pegula
  18. I think he would be a great #3 if the Bills can get Hopkins. Diggs and Hopkins will get the other teams best corners every week. Davis would be in a one-on-one situation where he should win most of those matchups. Same would go for Knox as well.
  19. Maybe. I think the Bills will do well at home. They do have 9 home games this year. Say they go 7-2 at OP. I could see 3-5 on the road to reach 10 wins. I do see your point especially if the injury bug hits them again. I also see a losing road record this year. That road schedule is brutal, so the Bills better do well at home.
  20. I can't see Tua staying healthy. He had 2 confirmed concussions last year (CIN/GB) and probably suffered one against the Bills as well. If the Dolphins find a decent QB then they will be in the mix for the division. If not, it will come down to the Bills and Jets assuming they get Rodgers.
  21. This isn't an NFL rumor or speculation, but the NYC media has mentioned the idea that the Jets and Giants should play week 1 on MNF. The reason is the first MNF game will be played on 9/11. The two NYC area teams playing on 9/11. They could do a ceremony before the game honoring or remembering those who lost their lives on that horrible day. Again, the NYC media has put the idea out there. We will have to wait until May when the schedule comes out to see if it will be Jets at Giants week 1 on MNF.
  22. Division is a lot tougher. Road games at KC, CIN, PHIL. NFCE is pretty tough as well. I would say 10 is the floor, 12 the ceiling. I will guess 11-6.
  23. Dov Kleiman on Twitter: "Update: The #Jets and #Packers haven't "spoken much" this past week, per @AdamSchefter Green Bay "wants a 1st round pick" in the Rodgers trade "and that's not all they want." He also added that the Jets getting a 2nd round pick for Elijah Moore has little to do with the Packers https://t.co/PUpAbYpHzs" / Twitter
  24. Adam Schefter on Twitter: "Cowboys’ RB Ezekiel Elliott has narrowed down his options about where to play to the Eagles, Jets and Bengals, and he would like to make his decision about where to sign by the end of next week, per sources." / Twitter
