  1. Being an NFL owner has to be the best. Most popular sport in America. The TV contracts alone make the league a cash cow. The Bills will make Terry and Kim's children so much money over the years. Just look at how the Bills value increased since Terry bought them. He paid 1.4 billion and now thanks to the new stadium they are worth more than 3 billion. The Sabres however might be a different story. Aren't they in the red financially?
  2. Unless he wants to pass ownership down to his children.
  3. 2nd worst? He is better than Tua and Jones
  4. The first MNF game this year falls on 9/11. The New York Post suggested about a month or so ago that the Jets and Giants should face each other week 1 as the two NYC area teams. They suggested they could have a special ceremony honoring/remembering the victims before the game. This wasn't an NFL rumor or anything, but a suggestion made by the New York Post. We will see if the league will do it in a few weeks when the schedule comes out.
  5. I think too much is made of Rodgers relationship with the media. Rodgers "fights back" with the media all the time over the years. Has it affected his play? Guy is one of the best to do it and he is a slam dunk HOF in his first year of eligibility. Rodgers doesn't let the media affect his play. Never has and never will.
  6. Took a look at Ganggreen.com board and many Jets fans aren't thrilled with what they gave up. Some are happy obviously, but many see the same concerns with the deal that have been posted here.
  7. One of those primetime games will probably be against the Bills. Allen vs Rodgers. Rivalry game where they will be battling for the AFCE.
  8. Adam Schefter on Twitter: "Although Hall-of-Fame QB Joe Namath gave Aaron Rodgers his blessing to wear No. 12, the new Jets‘ QB is expected to wear No. 8 — the number he wore in college at Cal." / Twitter
  9. I can't see the Lions or Bears playing week 1 at KC. The Chiefs have better opponents to choose from. The 2023 Chiefs home schedule is the Bills, Dolphins, Bengals, Eagles, Bears, Lions, plus the division.
  10. From the media in the NYC area, it was reported that both JD and Saleh wanted Carr. Its Woody Johnson who has them going all in for Rodgers. So, if this blows up in their faces then its Johnson who is 100% to blame.
  11. I will guess 5 primetime games. I think the Bills open at home this year after opening at LA last year. I think the game vs the Bengals will be Sunday afternoon after what happened on MNF last year with Damar. The league won't put that game on primetime this year. If the Jets get Rodgers, then one of the games against them is a slam dunk for primetime. Rodgers vs Allen. KC will probably be another primetime game. Could also see the Cowboys. Eagles or Giants as primetime possibilities.
  12. Terry may be a bigger hockey fan than football fan. But he is a smart businessman. It doesn't get any better than being an NFL owner as the league is a cash cow. The NHL not as much. The Bills will make way more $$$ for Terry and his family than the Sabres could.
  13. I thought Terry's oldest daughter was getting involved and learning about how to run the Bills. I hope Kim also gets better but it sounds like Terry will transfer ownership to his kids will be the more likely scenario. With the new stadium coming the Bills aren't leaving WNY. If any team is in danger of moving it would be the Sabres. They aren't a cash cow like the Bills are.
  14. Happy Birthday to the original #12.
  15. I do think the Isles get back in the series tonight. Both games in Carolina were close and if Sorokin played better in game 2, they are probably tied 1-1. First playoff game ever at UBS I would be surprised if the Isles don't come out fired up. We will see.
  16. When you look at the Bills history with QB's there are only 4 worth mentioning. Kemp, Ferguson, Kelly, Allen.
  17. The draft is coming up next Thursday. So, we have that to look forward to.
  18. Thurman is up there but he isn't the greatest. He isn't even the greatest Bills RB. OJ was not only greatest RB in Bills history but also the greatest offensive player in the team's history.
  19. For what he did I could understand him not getting a job in baseball again. But he deserves to be in the HOF for what he did as a player.
  20. Six more days until the draft. If there is a trade, I am guessing it gets done then.
  21. Someone want to tell the Devils that their playoff series has started. Being a no-show at home for two straight games against your biggest rival will not get it done.
  22. First the Golden Knights, then the Raiders, and now the A's. Only a matter of time before the NBA goes there.
  23. They will need a roof. Could you imagine playing baseball especially in June, July, and August outside in Vegas. Nothing like running around in 120-degree weather.
