Looks like the Bears are willing to trade the #1 pick. Dov Kleiman on Twitter: "The #Bears have decided to go ahead with Justin Fields as the franchise QB and will try to trade the 1st overall pick in the draft instead of drafting a quarterback prospect, according to @AlbertBreer Fields impressed the Bears organization on how he handled the 2022 season https://t.co/aliCw3F8xV" / Twitter

Stay away. To many injuries and too much baggage. I know the Bills need to upgrade WR 2 but he isn't the answer.

OT…Daniel Jones about to be a very very rich man
Gregg replied to 78thealltimegreat's topic in The Stadium Wall
Health is definitely a factor and that is why I wouldn't put him the Burrow-Herbert range. Maybe Daniel Jones is more like it. This is assuming he will be able to play. -

Not with our current OL. You could have Barry Sanders in his prime and he couldn't run behind this group. -
My guess is the Raiders. It better not be a divisional game. That would suck if we lost a true home game against a divisional rival. It can happen. I believe the Dolphins and Jets played in London a few years ago.

Burrow and Herbert are going to reset the QB market. Tua will get a nice pay day, but I don't think it will be in the Burrow-Herbert range. Then after that comes Lawrence. -
Let's see how FA and the draft play out for all four teams. I will say this the Dolphins are not that far off. I don't know what they will do with their QB situation given Tua's health. Also, if the Jets get Rodgers, then they can definitely challenge the Bills for the division. I actually prefer the Jets D over the Bills D. I don't see NE challenging the Bills right now, but things could look different when the season starts.

Hate the guy all you want but he is the GOAT. Mahomes is most likely going 1-2 in Super Bowls. Brady has 7 rings.
-
I wonder if the Fins now try and go get Rodgers. Hated Brady being a Bills fan, but the guy is the GOAT. He also fought off Father Time better than any athlete in sports.

The defense gets exposed as frauds when they play a good team with a good QB. Padding the stats against average to bad teams doesn't make the Bills defense good. The offense would be so much better if Beane would focus on building the OL. I think even with the current WR's and RB's we have would be fine if we had a good OL. Actually, we need to improve the LOS on both sides of the ball if we want to win a Lombardi.

Schoen did say the Giants and Barkley were not really close on numbers when they last spoke. Barkley wanted something like 14 or 15M per year. Giants were looking at 10-12M per year range. Sounded much more confident that they will get Jones resigned. We will have to see how it plays out. From his season ending PC its sounds like Jones is definitely coming back but Barkley is a maybe. -

Schoen already said the Giants want him back and they will get him signed. Said getting Barkley resigned won't be as easy but the Giants want him back as well. -
For the next few years, the Jags should own that division. But the Texans have a chance to improve their team pretty quickly.

Would you resign Edmunds or a tackle?
Gregg replied to 78thealltimegreat's topic in The Stadium Wall
I would go OL at this point. A strong OL will allow Josh to have time in the pocket to find open receivers. A strong OL will mean a better running game with the running backs doing the running instead of #17. Allen running for his life and taking too many hits needs to stop since he is the franchise of the Bills. -
I said this Last Year McDermott lacks the killer instinct.
Gregg replied to Rebel101's topic in The Stadium Wall
Didn't he already announce that he was staying Michigan. Wishful thinking on my part but I wish Bill was available. Won 6 Super Bowls with Brady so I have no doubt he would win with Josh. -
Josh Allen not going to Pro Bowl - Tyler Huntley going in his place
Gregg replied to Draconator's topic in The Stadium Wall
Never watched the Pro Bowl. Won't watch these Pro Bowl games or whatever they call it now either. -

Our OL sucks. Our DL without Von also blows. KC and CIN are ahead of us. Teams in our division are getting better. If the Jets get a QB they could finish ahead of us. Frazier blows. Whenever our defense goes up against a good offense, we **** the bed. It's not all bad as we have some good players obviously, but they definitely need to upgrade the roster (OL, DL. WR) if they want to win a championship. -
Can we add Charles Romes and Mario Clark as well. Our secondary needs help

Kathy Hochul is a Bills fan. If the Bills get to or win a Super Bowl will the Empire State Building be lit up in Bills colors. This actually might happen. Dov Kleiman on Twitter: "The #Packers "prefer" to move on from QB Aaron Rodgers, league sources tell @AdamSchefter Aaron Rodgers is aware of the #Packers feeling about wanting to trade him, according to the sources. https://t.co/Od6hEKU6g6" / Twitter

Reassessing the Over-Reactions to the Divisional Round
Gregg replied to Never NEVER Give-up's topic in The Stadium Wall
You would think Beane and McDermott would build a team that could handle the elements better. The current stadium and the new one doesn't/won't have a dome. Rain, wind, snow, cold will be a factor every year. -

I could understand with Purdy because of the injury but when Johnson was in there they should have thrown more. -

SF had no QB and got nothing from the passing game. Even a defense as good as SF was eventually going to wear down. The penalties didn't help either.
