Want to see how FA and the draft play out first. Right now, on paper that is tough schedule especially the road schedule. At KC, CIN, PHIL. 3 brutal road games right there.

If you look back at the Pats dynasty. There were 4 teams that were challenging them in the AFC. During the 1st half of the run, it was the Colts and Ravens. With Indy you had Brady vs Manning. With the Ravens it was the Brady vs the Lewis led D. Then when Manning went to Denver it was the Pats vs Broncos. The Steelers also played them in big games as it was Brady vs Ben. The Colts, Ravens, Broncos, Steelers were bigger rivals to the Pats then anyone currently in the AFCE. Even the Giants frustrated NE more than the Bills, Dolphins, Jets ever did during their dynasty run.

I know it sucked not to have him out there. Maybe we don't win anyway but I definitely think it would have been a lot closer.

I wonder if the Bengals game plays out differently if we had Von out there. The Bengals were missing 3 starters on the OL. Von would have taken advantage of that. Maybe that would have opened things up for the rest of the pass rush. I don't know if the Bills would have won as they only scored 10 points but who knows. The D could have gotten some turnovers which could have created points and the Bengals probably don't get 27. We will never know.

I also thought the AFCW would be tough. The Chargers always seem to give them a tough time, but they almost always lose.

Brady also had Giselle who made more money then he did. I don't know what Allen's GF does for a living if she does anything at all.

The one thing I will say about NE during their run was they always seemed to have trouble with the Dolphins in Miami. That was the own personal house of horrors. I think Brady's career record in Miami was around .500. The Bills rarely beat the Pats and the Jets weren't much better.

Like him or not Herbstreit is a rising star in the announcing game. He is well established in CFB and now he seems to be heading that way in the NFL.

Brady the GOAT, Belichick the GOAT. Built a solid roster around #12. The Bills, Dolphins, Jets = Three stooges. Division was a joke as NE would usually have it clinched by late Oct/ early Nov. Because of it they usually had the #1 or #2 seed so they rarely had to play on WC weekend.

I would prefer the Bills focus on the OL and getting a WR 2 to go along with Diggs. Davis then slides to #3 where he would probably be very effective.

Beane doesn't report to McDermott. Terry said both men report to him. When it comes to coaching the football team, running practices, game planning then Sean is in charge. When it comes to the roster (draft/FA) then Beane is the man. This is coming Terry P.

I would love to see Bill coaching this team. Six Super Bowls with a franchise QB. It's not going to happen of course, but he would bring a Lombardi to Buffalo with Allen as the QB. I would rather see that then McClappy talking about process and Frazier's D leading to another disappointing playoff exit.

Frazier's defense is good enough to put up nice stats and win regular season games. The problem is in the playoffs they are facing good teams with good QB's. That is when they get exposed as frauds. If its Frazier's D or McDermott's D it doesn't matter. It doesn't work against good teams. They aren't winning a Lombardi until they fix that.

5 playoff appearances in 6 years. Three straight division titles. McBean isn't getting fired. I do hope they move on from Frazier. The only way I would consider getting rid of McDermott would be if Bill and the Pats decided to part ways. In that scenario I would offer Bill a blank check and give him total control of the organization. Bill won six Super Bowls with an elite level franchise QB. He would definitely win with Josh. Since that has no chance of happening, we have to hope McBean figures it out. It's not like our (fans) opinion means anything. Only Terry can make real changes and I doubt he is going to right now.

38 - 28 Birds

They are weak up front especially on the OL. They suck in short yardage situations. Allen is their most dangerous threat running the ball. That is not a good look when your QB is your main threat running. Allen is constantly under pressure and lucky for him he can avoid the rush very well. Otherwise, he would be getting killed out there. Defensively they couldn't rush the QB after Von went down. They are inconsistent when it comes to stopping the run. Beane needs to build the lines especially on offense. I would even go with the same receiving group and RB's if we had better lines. Why would you build a finesse football team who has to play in WNY in the elements? That is what the Bills are a finesse football team.

Probably a little bit of both. Look at our pass rush after Von went down. Coaching is definitely a problem. I would have made changes after 13 seconds.

Have to see how the offseason plays out. Beane needs to have the kind of draft this year that JD had for the Jets last year. With the cap situation I don't know if the Bills can be big players in FA. They still have to try and resign their own FA's. As for Frazier I don't understand it either. The D has been good enough to win with in the regular season, but it fails in the postseason. I also hope they don't remain status quo but it looks like that is what is going to happen.

Another one to remember is Terry Bradshaw. Granted those Steelers teams were loaded. Great defense, Franco, Swann, Stallworth. He did QB them to 4 championships.

I think they could have gotten by the Giants. The Bills SHOULD HAVE but didn't. The Redskins and Cowboys probably beat the Dolphins.

I think this is a realistic goal. For this to happen we need a better OL, a DL that can get to the QB. Another playmaker at WR to go along with Diggs. I just wish they would move on from Frazier.
