  1. Not really much of a fight.
  2. Every time he opens his mouth.
  3. The first game the Bills outplayed them by a lot. They were moving the ball up and down the field but just couldn't finish drives. The 2nd game I thought the Dolphins had the better of the play. They were running the ball all over the Bills. The playoff game looked like it was going to be a blowout but then turnovers and sloppy play allowed Miami to hang around and make it a nailbiter. Buffalo should have won the 1st game. Miami probably deserved to win the 2nd game.
  4. On the flip side take a look at the Bills schedule after the Jets game. Raiders, at Commanders, Dolphins, Jaguars (London), Giants, at Pats, Bucs then comes a tough one at Bengals. I don't want to say the Dolphins and Jags games will be easy because they won't. If the Bills can beat the Jets, then they have good chance to run the table up till the Bengals game.
  5. Except for the one throw. Zach didn't look good tonight. No TD drives against scrubs. If Rodgers gets hurt, they are ****ed. He only gives them 2 years. They still have a long-term problem at QB. Even though its preseason, at least the Jets lost which is always nice to see.
  6. From the Buffalo Range message board. They are saying Spencer got hurt today. Today, Aug 3rd, Thursday At the end of of practice, Bills OT Spencer Brown left the field walking with obvious stiffness and accompanied by several trainers. He looked extremely uncomfortable and could not bend over to pick up his helmet. He has a history of back problems. (Earlier in practice he was actually winning a lot of reps) Well, McDermott and Beane talked up Spencer Brown as "the guy" this year at RT. That looks iffy now. Have to wait and see, but back problems can be reoccurring. Our plan was to roll with Spencer Brown. Our backups are: Brandon Shell, Age 31. Ryan Van Demark, 2nd year, UDFA out of Connecticut Richard Gouraige, rookie UDFA out of Florida Tommy Doyle, although he may not fully back from his injury Good thing we drafted Dorian Williams in the 3rd this year, and not a potential RT.
  7. Look at the 1998 draft as an example. At the time both Manning and Leaf were considered can't miss prospects. Worked out very well for the Colts. The Chargers not so much.
  8. Problem is they still get voted in. The Squad are morons but the people who vote for them are bigger morons. Until they get voted out, we can't really ignore them.
  9. I think the Jets are legit, but I hope you are right about them.
  10. Don't forget the Jets. Didn't they trade three #2's with the Colts to move up to #3 and take Darnold.
  11. Do you think Tua can stay healthy all year. I would say probably not. Mike White is a serviceable back-up QB but if he has to be "the guy" if Tua misses a significant amount of time then the Dolphins are in trouble.
  12. Two out of those three games shouldn't have been competitive. The Bills were going up and down the field in the 1st game but just couldn't finish drives. In the playoff game it was the turnovers and sloppy play that allowed Miami to hang around. To the Dolphins credit they did. That playoff game was looking like a blowout for the first 20 minutes of the game. I am more concerned about the Jets. Rodgers may not be in his prime, but he is still a very good QB. The Jets defense is also really good.
  13. Tell that to the illegals sleeping on the streets of NYC.
  14. Testaverde had some good years with them. They almost got to the Super Bowl in 98 before losing to Denver in the AFCCG. They were one of the favorites going into the 99 season but then Vinny tore his Achillies on opening day. If I remember correctly Pennington was decent but then hurt his arm and was never the same again.
  15. Finally, we have a game today. Jets vs Browns at 8:00 tonight. Despite the fact that the game will probably suck and be boring it's still nice to see football again. The offseason is so long.
  16. Not a big deal to me either way. About 80% to 90% of kickoffs go into the endzone anyway and the receiving team just starts at the 25.
  17. Happy Birthday Marv.
  18. Week 5 is the first week games can be flexed to SNF. Jets and Broncos play week 5 but I can't see the Cowboys-49ers being flexed out of SNF. Adam Schefter on Twitter: "The first time Sunday night games can be flexed this season is Week 5, which just happens to be when the Jets play at the Broncos. Hard to imagine NBC would drop the Week 5 Cowboys-49ers matchup for it, but as usual, the NFL schedule makers/script writers nailed it." / X
  19. NE does have a nice streak going against the Jets. I think they have won 11 or 12 in a row. It's something like that. I agree with you that the Jets with Rodgers should at least get a split with the Pats. I wouldn't be shocked if they swept them this year either.
